My winter vacation

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11 oclock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on playing till 2 oclock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day of my winter vacation.

But I havent bored all the time. Sometimes I read the books, sometime I listen to the music or the radio in the bed, because it was very cold outside and snowy all the day. And I also meat some of my good friends during the vacation, we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year and play table tennis tegether. And I watched the spring festival party of the CCTV in the last seconds of the 2004 year! I think this is the thing most people of china doing at that time.

Learning Styles

Educators have known for a long time that people learn in different ways. That is why teachers present information in various forms. For example, as well as explaining a new language, language teachers often provide other learning experiences such as books, charts, videos, audio cassettes,songs, debates and group work. In this way, all students in a class have an opportunity to learn in the way that best suits them.

In the last 50 years or so, researchers have been studying learners in an attempt to identify all the

possible learning styles that humans use. They have found that we can very roughly divide people into three groupsthose who learn best through seeing, those who learn best through listening and those who learn best through moving, doing or touching.

Some research has identified eight distinct learning styles, and researchers have made up tests to find out which of these learning styles best suits different people. These tests show that, although most people have one dominant style of learning, they are also able to use other learning styles effectively. Some people even seem to have many different learning styles.

The advantage of knowing what kind of learner you are is that you can then study in the way that best suits your learning style.

每当夜深人静时，我总会抬头望向窗外，在漆黑漆黑的夜里，您最喜爱的黄百合总在静静的诉说着那一段鲜为人知的故事：

在那已逝的时光里，灯光就像在黑暗中独自飞翔的萤火虫，它一开始努力的朝自己的目标飞去，渐渐的它迷失了方向，然后它毫无方向的穿梭在黑暗里，最后它就一直待在了那儿，任别人怎样鼓舞它，它就是无动于衷。那亮光从原来的明亮渐渐地忽明忽暗，最后就连那仅剩的一点微光，也被黑暗吞噬了。大地已经沉睡，黑暗早已蔓延。不知那故事的主人公是谁，是它自己?还是别人?也不知它是向谁诉说，是我?还是没有想让谁听，只是自己茫然的在讲?看着那早已凋落的黄百合，我总会想一个问题——人，到底应该怎样去生活?有位哲人说过：世界上有两种人，一种是活着的人，一种是生活的人。有许多的人是活着的人，他们有哭有笑，有喜有忧，可没有生活的目标;有劳作，有呼吸，可没有人生的追求。

他们只是有了物质的形体，却没有精神的内涵，他们的生命是没有质量的。而生活的人却不同，他们有思想，有理念，有奋斗，有拼搏，他们肯为正义的事业而献身，肯为和平和幸福而流血，肯为人类的进步而贡献自己的一生。这样的人生才有价值，这样的生活才是真实的，美丽的!

爸爸，其实您就属于前者，是活着的人。每个人都有自己的生活方式，我并不反对您的生活方式，我只是觉得做一个人应该有更高的追求。

爸爸，我已经长大了，不是小孩子了，我有自己的追求和想法，我有自己的答案：我要做一个生活的人!

travel, but she missed, finally, the policeman found her body. It is so

terrible, this incident warns people to protect themselves, especially for the

girls. First, we’d better travel with friends. Traveling alone is very popular

among the young people, because they are independent and chase for freedom, so

they like to go without friends. Then they are easily becoming the gangster’s

targets. Therefore, having someone accompany not only can share the opinion, but

also can be safe. Second, it is better not to go to the place which is dark and

less people. The bad guys like to choose this place because they will not be

noticed and are easy to do the criminal things. We need to learn to protect

ourselves, life is precious.
