在一个杂技戏院有两个杂技演员，他们一个叫“泰焦傲”，一个叫“甄用工”。泰焦傲走钢丝很厉害，甄用工是他的助手。他们表演完最后一次节目后就去休养了。泰焦傲在休养所不是睡就是吃，母鸡一个月下的蛋还不够他一顿的饭量呢!但甄用工每天都坚持练功，而且练的很认真。他每天叫泰焦傲起床也练功，可泰焦傲每次都说：“我是天才，不用练功!”休养结束了，泰焦傲和甄用工又要表演走钢丝了，但泰焦傲已经胖成了一个大肉球，好不容易才到了杂技戏院，他胖的已经爬不上钢丝架子了。后来，甄用工想了一个好办法，才把泰焦傲弄上去。泰焦傲刚刚开始走钢丝，他就落了下来……还好，被甄用工用一根手指接住了，开始了“耍球”表演……

记得几年前初读《红楼梦》时对于书中人物除了我们那位多情的玉兄之外印象最深的就是袭人了。

这么说来自己也觉得十分奇怪而此话叫大家听了自不免更加称奇了罢莫不都要问：读罢“红楼”不仔细记忆“十二钗”中的女子反而对一个丫鬟念念不忘怕不是也受了宝玉之染而犯了呆劲罢?然而当时我确实就是这样只是“呆呆”地喜爱袭卿一个。

有些朋友听说我如此总是要怀上一种同我辩驳的态度来对我说：“袭人那么讨厌你还喜欢她有毛病!”甚至有时还会因为这事同我争个面红耳赤总之是要我“放弃”袭人、要我同他们一般地去厌恶袭人。但我却始终“固执己见”从不曾动摇过分毫闹到最后此事在我与友人们之间也就不了了之。

其实说到朋友们嫌恶袭卿的根本原因我却也知道并且理解——那全是由于“高某人”之故事情的根由只是我们那时所读到的还都是百廿回通行本《红楼梦》(其时我也尚还不知“石头”的其他版本)在思想上大大受到了后面伪续四十回中“高兄”劣笔的“感染”。

说句实话当我将百廿回通读过一遭之后也曾多少对我以前的想法产生了质疑觉得是否自己从前“看错”这“丫头”了?但由于我实在是爱喜她在先而且爱得深、喜得切所以念头挣扎了一回也就不再去理会袭卿后来的“大转型”了只还将她当作心中的最爱。之后的几年这等念想一直不改无论旁人如何嗔谤于她。这或许就是我的“恋到痴处尽包容”罢。

直到后来我由于受了“红潮”的影响也开始自行“钻研”(不过也就是自娱自乐罢了)起《红楼梦》这才逐渐对它有了略深一层的了解得知了它竟还有许多异本、晓得了“程高本”的伪劣之处。如此我便更加确定了自家先时对于袭卿的看法与“爱恋”我便更加不再“惧怕”于朋友们的争驳了。

记得最开始喜欢上袭人还只是因为从书中看到她温柔贤惠、知事通理处处都从宝玉一面设想总觉同双儿(金庸先生《鹿鼎记》中人物)有些相似但她又比双儿有过人的地方便是她对于宝玉的一些“不是”总不会像双儿那样过分地去迁就并非事事都大顺其意而行之。
