In a year, there are four seasons in my hometown and they are very

different to each other. The spring is comfortable while the summer is too hot

to stand. The autumn is cool and winter is very cold. The season I like most is

autumn. Except for the cool weather, the beautiful scenery is my favorite. When

it comes to autumn, all leaves turn to yellow gradually. At that time, the

scenery is amazing. Besides, when the leaves fall in to the ground, it feels so

great walking on it. In addition, I like to travel in the autumn, because I want

to take a look at the different views of autumn.

October 1st is the national day of our country, which is a public holiday for the whole country. It’s an important day that marks the beginning of PRC. On that day, there are plenty of celebrations holding throughout the country, from the central government to the general people. And public places, including big squares, parks are decorated in festive theme. In recent years, the national holiday means the golden week as well, which is a short holiday that all people expect to. With the improvement of living standards, people have more money and desire to travel and the golden week is a good chance for them. Last night, I watched a tennis game, it was the US open, because there was

Since I go to middle school, I have to learn many subjects. Though I am not

the best student in class, but I won’t give up. I always tell myself to work

hard, because if I want to compete with other students, I need to make great

effort. People are easy to deny themselves when they face difficulty. If they

fail one time, then they will doubt the effort they have made. Actually, we are

not studying in vain. What we learn will be a great help to improve ourselves.

The thing we learn decides what kinds of person we are. So don’t deny yourself,

I was born in the country, my family lived there before I was 6 years old.

Then my parents moved to the city for their work, I had to stay away from my

hometown. Though living in the city brings me a lot of convenience, I eat the

good food, I still miss country life all the time. I love to live in the

country.

Living in the country, the time seems to be very slow. I woke up early in

the morning and then took the walk. After eating the breakfast, it was about 8

o’clock. I went out to play with my friends or went to help my grandparents with

their work. After doing these, it was just 11 o’clock. But in the city, I woke

up at 9 o’clock, and then I ate the breakfast, the rest of the day was to play

It was a weekend when a good friend of mine asked me to climb a famous

mountain here. Ive always heard of this mountain, but I havent found the time to

climb it. So when my friend asked me out, I readily agreed.

On the way to climb mountains with my friends, we also met many climbers,

including young people and old people. The young mans speed of climbing was

Last week, our school held an activity to the nursing house to visit the

old people. I was so excited to be a volunteer, because it was my first time to

join such big activity. When we got there, the old people were so happy to see

us. They smiled all the time. We brought them some fruit and presents, and they

were so moved. When we chatted face in face, they talked about the old times and

the happiness they had. I thought about my grandparents, who lived in the

hometown. I should spend more time with them. Being a volunteer is such a

precious experience for me.
