一走进故宫我就看到了一面高大雄伟的午门，走过午门，我就见了太和门。穿过太和门在我眼前呈现的是一做红墙黄瓦、雄伟壮丽、金碧辉煌的太和殿。太和殿是过去皇帝上朝的地方。走近一看，它分为三层，屋顶上分别雕刻着十一只珍禽异兽。我再往里面看：里面的摆设跟古装电视剧里的一模一样。

走过太和殿就是中和殿。中和殿是皇帝休息的地方，然后才更衣到太和殿。
