When I was picking up my stuff after school， I saw a dog staring at me at the school gate .I was kind of scary. I thought the dog would bite me when I was going out. But it was not. Last Thursday and Friday, our school held the 40th sports meeting.It is one of the biggest activities each year in my school. All the students badly expect to it.All games in the sports meeting werevery exciting and running was the most intense.Class 4 Grade 3 did the best in the sports.They got the highest scores.My class won the third but it was the best in the six classes of my grade.Liang Wen and Qiu Lu are my classmates. All this must happen with very great speed, and only those who have had a lot of practice can do this successfully.

Sports and games are also very useful for character-training. In their lessons, boys and girls may learn about such virrues as unselfishness courage disciple and love of ones country, but what is learned in books can not have the same deep effect on a childs character as what is learned through practice. Most of students time is spent in classes, studying lessons. So what the students do in their spare time is of great importance. “砰、砰、砰”每当我听到篮球撞击地面发出的声音，我内心就十分激动，这声音仿佛就是我听到一首欢乐的乐章，让我沉浸其中，令我回味无穷。

第一次接触篮球，是受爸爸的熏陶。当我看见篮球在爸爸指间像玩具一样飞来飞去，然后又像导弹一样准确无误的进入篮筐，我内心油然产生敬佩之情，从此，我和那“橙色精灵”的故事也就开始了。

“看着容易做起来难”，这是我接触篮球后对它的第一印象，就是简单的一个原地运球，也要学很长时间，一开始，我一直把它当作皮球一样拍，用掌心击打球，可是这样看起来既软弱无力，又容易被别人抢断。所以，应该用指尖来操控球，我费了九牛二虎之力，才勉强学会原地运球，可这时我已经热情大减，几次想放弃，每每看到爸爸球场潇洒的身影，我决定继续坚持下去，开启我的篮球之旅。

首先，要把基本功打牢，才能完成行云流水的过人动作，由于练基本功需要一定的时间，于是我就报名在篮球班里来训练。这篮球训练看似是一个小事，其实里面还有很多内涵。首先，它让我养成了早起的好习惯。每天早晨六点半，当许多同学还在床上做梦时，我已经收拾好装备准备出门；其次，它让我养成了良好的生活习惯，在以前，我袜子、内裤脏了直接扔在地上不管，而现在打完球后，如果不洗，就意味着第二天就没有可以换的了，所以篮球“强迫”我养成了良好的生活习惯。然后是练球让我养成了持之以恒的毅力，其实每个动作练起来很枯燥，不练就不能熟能生巧。总之，在篮球班中，让我养成了很多好习惯。
