虽然我只读得懂其中的两篇文章，可它们依然留给了我十分深刻的印象。朱自清生动的动作描写和拟人效果给人们想象力的冲击。如《背影》中父亲翻过月台去买橘子的那一段，“父亲”艰难地往上爬的细节以及“我”的泪从眼中流下，内应外和，描写出父子情深，父爱如山的景象，给人留下颇深的印象。

这本书的主人公叫美乐笛，她是一个不能说话的女孩儿。于是她的爸爸妈妈和V阿姨从小就把许许多多的词语灌输进她的脑袋里，希望能弥补她不能说话这个先天缺陷。她的爸爸妈妈还给她买了一台“语音电脑”，只要把想说的话输进去，这台“语音电脑”就能代替美乐笛说出。美乐笛很聪明，她打败了许多竞争对手，赢得了参加“中小学生知识竞赛”的机会，又在比赛时，遥遥领先，最终她和她的队友获得了去美国华盛顿的机会。为此，她们还庆祝了一番。可飞机改时间了，美乐笛的队友并没有通知她，使她错过了机会。
