嗨，大家好，我叫王冰，是大家公认的“小书迷”。

在这个假期中，我阅读了许多书籍：《意林》、《父与子》、《笑猫日记》、《绿野仙踪》、《爱丽丝梦游仙境》、《青铜葵花》、《绿墙上的安妮》、《草房子》、《城南旧事》……等各式各样的书我都看过。然而，在这片茫茫的书海中，我最喜欢看《城南旧事》这本书。

这本书的主人公叫英子。她有一个保姆，也就是宋妈。宋妈的命很苦，先是嫁给了黄板儿牙——冯大明，再是她的两个孩子——而儿子小栓子和女儿丫头子一个死了，一个被冯大明卖了。英子还有一个很要好的好朋友，叫妞儿，也叫小桂子。她的亲妈却是惠安馆人人公认的“疯女人”秀贞。秀贞经常痴痴地立在胡同口寻找她丢失的女儿。

之后英子一家迁居新帘子胡同。英子又在附近的荒地里遇见了一个厚嘴唇的年轻人。这个年轻人为了供弟弟上学不得不去偷东西。最终他被警察局的人抓走了。后来，被赶出家门的兰姨娘来到了英子的家。英子想方设法把兰姨娘和德先叔凑在了一块儿，使他们俩相爱了，并坐上马车走了。
