就拿《偷东西的小孩和她母亲》这篇故事来讲吧。孩子还想的时候就学会了偷东西，母亲就该教育自己的孩子，不要这样了。但是那位母亲不但不教育她的孩子，还表扬他。在孩子长大后，又偷了一件大衣。他的母亲又开始夸他，还为他做大鱼大肉吃，真是溺爱。在孩子长大后，就开始做小偷，偷的东西越来越大，再一次偷东西的时候，他被警察抓住了，而且亲自在现场要断了他母亲的一只耳朵，责怪他母亲没教育他，才得到如此下场。

这个故事告诉我们：父母是孩子的第一任老师，当在孩子在干小事的时候就应该立刻制止，小错不惩，必酿大错。我们千万不能“恶小而为之”啊!

不光这个故事告诉了我们深刻的道理，其它故事也一样。我们要认真体会道理，才能读好这本书。

我在一个休业式的早晨，我们正听着老师慢慢地介绍着假期里要看的书，听到《动物农场》这个书名时，我脑子里的问题一下子就来了：为什么这本书叫“动物农场”呢？这又不是动物开的农场。

带着这一问题，我从放假的第一天起，就在网上买了书，等待着书的到来……

果然，书三天后就到了，我兴奋地翻开了那本书，里面主要讲的是动物占领农场的故事。里面不仅文字内容丰富，而且少量的图片也生动有趣。以前我是十分不爱看书的，可是通过这一本书，我改变了许多：一旦我遇到好书，我就很想看完。一本书一天读个五、六遍也是正常的事情。

刚开始，妈妈给我买来这本《老人与海》，起初我并不喜欢这本封面老土的“古板书”，心想：又是经典，还不如小说好看呢!为了应付妈妈，我只好装模作样的读起书来。渐渐的，我就被这书中的精彩内容所吸引了，一口气全部读了下来。

《老人与海》这本书讲了孤独的渔夫桑提亚哥八十四天没有打到鱼的情况下，在出海打鱼时，意外地发现了了一条比小船还长的的大马林鱼，在同大马林鱼苦苦周旋了一天后，要靠自己的聪明才智，胜利而归。不料却在返回的路上遇到了一条大鲨鱼想要来争夺这条大马林鱼，他在象征着厄运的鲨鱼作斗争时，虽然失败，但他坚韧不拔勇敢面对失败，从不服输的精神却令我敬佩，不由得让我对这个孤独的老渔夫刮目相看。当我读到老渔夫桑提亚哥在和大鱼周旋了一天时，心里为之一振，这是需要多大的勇气啊!他完全可以途中放弃，去捕捉其它的海鱼，不必把所有的精力都放在那一条鱼身上，可就是他那永不屈服，不甘失败的“硬汉精神”使他坚持了下去。

我想：老人桑提亚哥他可能在与大自然，与社会黑暗，与自身搏斗中一次次失败，但他的不甘失败精神却是永远也打不垮的。这种不甘失败精神是人走向胜利而不是走向毁灭的精神，老人桑提亚哥战胜了自我，战胜了鲨鱼和大马林鱼，因而是人类不甘失败精神的颂曲。

在生活中，我们是否也能向渔夫桑提亚哥那样面对生活中的种种困难呢?答案却是截然相反，有的同学事情还没有做完，就途中放弃了，还有一些同学，胜利就在眼前，却坚持不住了，更有一些同学甚至做都不想做，更别提坚持下去了。我们都应该学习渔夫桑提亚哥那种不屈服，不甘失败的硬汉精神，不能一遇到困难就退缩了，要勇敢面对生活中的种种阻挠，敢作敢当，不做缩头乌龟，勇于挑战，勇于拼搏，这样才能成为生活中的强者!

我看过很多书，但我最喜欢的还是《淘气包马小跳笨女孩安琪儿》。

一拿到书，我就被它的封面吸引住了，书的封面是一台ATM自动提款机，马小跳正在把一张卡插在里面，另一只手伸得老长，好象在向我挥手，自动提款机还喷出许多十元的钱，安琪儿正捂着脸惊讶得尖叫。

好书是人的好伙伴，我因书而常常陶醉，一拿到就离不开手，直到看无数遍，如果你问我最喜欢哪一本书，我会毫不犹豫地回答：《狼王梦》。

《狼王梦》是一位动物小说家沈石溪写的一部精典作品，这本书主要写的是一只母狼紫岚，一直有一个梦想，生育了五只狼仔，其中有一只在一场大雨中失去了生命，所以只有四只了，紫岚为了完成丈夫的遗愿——把一个孩子培养成狼王，费尽全力去培养它的宝贝，可最后并没有得到回报，她的四个孩子只有一只活了下来，最终，她的狼王梦想也未实现。

我喜欢这本书，是因为母狼紫岚可以不顾一切，哪怕付出自己生命的代价，也要培育自己的孩子，让它们成为新一代的狼王，虽然自己的三个孩子在与金雕猎人的搏斗中死于非命，但是这种持之以恒、坚持不懈的精神让我很感动，这就是一位母亲的志向，它能为孩子们的尊严付出一切代价，与陌生的环境做抗争。

这就是我最喜欢的一本书，它让我的视野更宽阔，心灵更自由。
