In the busy city of New York, such an astonishing thing that ever happened.

诚信，使我们中华民族的传统美德。但这对于经济飞速发展德今天来说，体现的却不是那么的明显。当今社会，越来越多的人把赚钱放在了第一位，为了能赚的钱哪怕是多赚几毛钱。他们不惜抛弃了尊严，诚信甚至是生命。但他们却不知道他们所抛弃的这些却都是人生中最宝贵的东西。试想，如果你抛弃了尊严，谁会好好对待一个寡廉鲜耻的人；如果你抛弃了诚心，谁会跟一个言而无信的人做生意；如果你抛弃了生命，那么即使赚再多的钱又有什么用呢？

做老实人，办老实事是人们崇尚的行为准则，但真正能做到这一条的又有多少个人呢？我们每一个人，要想成就一番事业，如果没有诚实守信的美德，是很难成功的。不讲诚信的人，可能一时半会儿会给自己带来利益。但是，随着时间的推移，当人们都认清你的真面目时，又有谁还会和你交往呢？你也会为此付出沉重的代价。

曾经有一则公益广告说过狼来了并不可怕，可怕的是失去了诚信。试想一下，如果整个社会都变成狼来了的社会，那是世界将会怎么样？所以在当今社会就是特别需要诚信。对个人而言，诚信是高尚的人格力量，是立身之本；对企业而言，诚信是宝贵的无形资产，是立业之本；对城市而言，诚信是发镇的不懈资源，是立市之本；就国家而言，诚信是良好的国家形象。我们应让全世界的人们都知道我们中华民族不仅是礼仪之邦，更是诚信之邦。

诚信是我们充满魅力，诚信是我们的心灵更加纯洁。诚信是无价之宝，是我们人生的通行证。就让诚信之我们这一代人的手中发扬光大，让世界人们都知道我们中华民族是诚信之邦。

Almost all of us heard the story “Here Comes the Wolf” when we were little kids. What we can learn from the story is that we must be honest. However, there’re lots of phenomena of dishonesty nowadays.

Being dishonest does great harm not only to other people but also to yourself. Take the case of fake milk powder for example. After drinking this kind of milk, the babies had big heads while their legs and arms were still thin, which badly affected their health. To our great relief, the producers got accused and punished for all the serious consequences in the end.

Having the reputation of being honest and reliable will make other people trust you, which will provide you many benefits and give you opportunities that others may not get. Being honest, you will find it easier to cooperate with others and people will be friendly to you and support you. In a sense, if life is a long journey, honesty will be the backpack that should be taken along all the way.

Let’s pick up our “backpack”—honesty, and start the wonderful journey!

几乎所有人听到这个故事“狼来了”当我们还是小孩子。我们能从这个故事懂得我们必须要诚实。然而,现在却有很多不诚实的现象。

不诚实会带来极大的危害不仅对别人,也对自己。以假奶粉的情况为例，喝这种牛奶,婴儿时期的大脑袋,而他们的腿和胳膊还是瘦,这严重影响他们的健康。我们伟大的救援,生产商有指责和惩罚的严重后果。

有诚实和可靠的声誉会让别人信任你,这将为您提供许多好处,给你机会,别人可能不会得到。诚实,你将更容易与他人合作,人们会友好对你和支持你。从某种意义上说,如果生活是一段长长的旅程,诚实的背包应该一直陪伴它。

让我们捡起诚实的“背包”，并且开始美妙的旅程!

阅读是其它任何一种题目的基础，包括听力、语法、改错、选词填空、写作等等。

——阅读量大了，对语法和单词的掌握必然会更加熟练，通过阅读来理解和记忆单词语法比死记硬背效果好得多。阅读水平上去了，写作水平自然会跟着提高。

在平时，应该多读一些英语材料，这是泛读。不过今天我主要围绕考试来谈，也就是落实到怎么样做阅读理解。我自己做阅读理解可以分为四个步骤，我曾经把这四个步骤教给很多同学，只要能按照这四个步骤做下来的，一两月之内，英语成绩基本都有很大的气色。

第一步，是先看问题。问题下面的选项可以稍微扫一下，不用认真看。这样做的目的是快速了解整篇文章的大概意思和考点。也就是说你把题目看完了之后，基本就知道这篇阅读理解在讲什么了。因为有的阅读文章它的写作方式不是“开门见山”式的，往往会先闲扯两句，然后慢慢的导入主题。很多人上来先看文章，一看开头——看不懂，不知道作者想要说什么，然后就晕了头，后面的内容也就跟着糊里糊涂起来。所以我们先看题目，知道全文大意和考点，即使看文章的时候有些地方看不懂，也影响不大了。

第二步，就是认真的把全文阅读一遍，然后做题。

这前面两部，是我们做阅读理解的常规步骤，在考场上，也就按照这两个步骤来就不错了。完成者前面那个步骤，每篇文章需要用的时间大概是12分钟。

但是，在平时练习中，也这样做收效不大。因为只阅读一遍，看个半懂不懂，糊里糊涂的选择几个选项，然后对一下答案。这样我们花了时间，实际上没有什么收获初一学生英语学习总结初一学生英语学习总结。花了很多时间做了很多英语题目，却还是停留在原来的水平。所以说在平时练习中，既然做了一篇，就要吃透一篇，理解一篇，收获一篇。这样即使在某一篇文章上花的时间多一些，效率却比流水一样的做很多篇阅读理解要高得多。

怎么个多花时间呢?

第三步，要对照参考答案。但是不能简单的知道正确答案就完了。对于自己做错的题目，包括那种没有把握但是“蒙”对了的题目，要认真的对照原文，理解清楚为什么这个选项才 是正确的。这个过程，就是再重新阅读文章和理解题目的过程。

第四步，在把问题都梳理清楚以后。我们要再回过头来认真的读一篇文章，这个时候可以查字典，理解一些生词的意思(注意：不要去背诵没有在课堂上学过的新单词!)在此基础上，保证自己把这篇文章的每一句话都彻底理解了。把每一句话的意思和语法结构都要弄清楚。 这样四个步骤下来，我们对于这一篇阅读理解才算彻底吃透吃通了。这样，本来12分钟就可以搞定的一篇阅读理解，可能要花差不多半个小时。但是，这比我们花半个小时做三篇阅读理解的效果要好得多，因为你真正收获了、进步了。按照这个方法，每天哪怕只做一篇阅读理解的题目，一两个月坚持下来，我们的英语成绩必然会有很大的提高。
