I used to be fond of skating. But now things have changed because of a horrible experience.

One winter, the weather was so cold that water turned into ice. One day on my way home, when seeing a frozen lake, I thought that the ice must be thick enough to support me. 由此我明白了人生的道路曲折、漫长、充满了挑战，但是只要我们坚持不懈努力过，不管结果是失败还是成功，都是值得人们尊敬的。

宽容自古以来就是我们中华民族的传统美德。世人从小就教导我们要心胸宽广，不与别人斤斤计较。正所谓“海纳百川，有容乃大”。只要我们把心胸放宽，世界将会多几分和睦。

还记得中央电视台经常播的那一则广告吗?在车水马龙中，传出了几种不同的声音，一位女青年先发话：“挤什么挤啊?没长眼睛吗?”一位男青年也不甘示弱：“年纪轻轻，怎么不说人话?”方唇枪舌剑，针锋相对，正在这时，一位老人赶来阻止：“得了得了，年轻人，把心放宽，就不挤了。”这时电视屏幕上出现了几个大字“宽容是一种美德”。这则广告虽然简短。但却给我一次心灵的震撼。是啊!我们在学校下课时经常为了一点鸡毛蒜皮的小事争得面红耳赤，从来没有谁会想到把心放宽一点，有时候生活中就需要一点宽容。

古时候也有段关于宽容的佳话。清朝年间，有一位姓张的宰相。一天，在宰相的老家安徽桐城。他的家人正在和叶侍郎的家人由于新房地皮的原因争得不可开交。张老夫人特意修书一封让人送到京城。张宰相看完信后，没有立即回信，而是回了一首小诗：千里家书只为墙，让它三尺又何妨，万里长城今犹在，不见当年秦始皇。张家人让了三尺，叶家人见张家人让步，也不好意思，也让了三尺。这样一来，形成了一条六尺宽的小巷，后人称“六尺仁义巷”，张家和叶家也成了世交。

法国作家雨果也说过：“世界上最宽阔的是海洋，比海洋更宽阔的是天空，比天空更宽阔是人的胸怀。”只要我们放宽心胸，以一颗宽容之心对待周围的人，我们的生活会变得更美好。

How time flies ,It has past half an month since beginning of the summer

holiday .

As the weather getting hotter and hotter ,my parent and me go to the

seaside .Last week we are go to the Xiamen.Its a beautiful city , bule sky and

bule sea .The Xiamen is an island neal the Taiwan .From top of the Riguan rock

we can see jinmen island .

We spent a happy day in Xiamen .

Pressure seems to be a natural part in our daily life in this competitive

society. Like it or not there is always pressure of one kind or another. And it

seems there is hardly any way to avoid it or get rid of it. Moreover, as the

pace of modern life continues to quicken, pressure seems to be on the increase

all the time.

Different people have different ideas about pressure. Some hold that

pressure is something very vicious. If there is too much of it, it will lead to

the decline of ones physical and mental health. So they are always complaining

about it or trying to flee from it. They think, only relaxation, the opposite of

pressure, is what we should desire. On the other hand, others argue that

pressure is not as bad as is often thought. In fact a certain amount of pressure

is essential to provide motivation and meaning to our life. It is pressure that

propels our progress and contributes to our success.

Personally, Im in favor of the latter idea. I believe that a little

pressure is certainly an important incentive in life. It is only when the

pressure gets out of control can it lead to poor performance and bad health.

Since it is impossible to avoid pressure, certainly there is no sense trying to

do so or complaining about it.
