Nowadays, any Chinese can enjoy the luxury of owning a private car - if he or she can afford it. Having a car of your own means no more traveling to work on crowded buses or subway trains, and you can drop off the children at school on the way. Let me begin my main subject and let me give it a title, called “My Story and the Chinese Dream Behind It”. I want to talk about five particular years. The first is 1968. That year I was born. My mother is a simple woman who comes from the countryside with little education. But in my eyes, she is the greatest mother in the world. Her perseverance gives me courage in all my life. Having asked for a leave from the teacher, I left the boring class and went to home with my favorite novel tucked under my arm. Many children can’t go to school as usual .Now the foods have drawn the attention of the whole world. People from abroad have offered their help too. In China, millions of soldiers are busy fighting against the floods. They are working very hard. Many of them have lost their lives in their attempt to save the villagers.

So boys and girls, let’s change our habit. When we have dinners in restaurants, don’t order too much food. And try to eat up all the food we ordered. If we can’t eat up all of them, just pack them and bring them back home to eat. Please give up the snacks between meals. Encourage your classmates and parents to join us. If you find somebody is throwing away food, just stop them.

Internet is now coming into our life. It brings us not only a lot of convenience ，happiness but also troubles. Some students use Internet as a too to study. They look up the meanings of the words， a translated form of a sentence，the background of an event or a story ，the information of a company or a famous person，etc.

They also read news or send e-mails through it. Internet helps them learn more and study well.

On the other hand，some students play games，chat with friends ，see the pictures or films even the unhealthy ones on the Internet the whole day. They are not interested in their subjects. It’s very dangerous for them!

The Internet’s advantages and disadvantages are shown clearly to us. I think we should make good use of it and stay away from the unhealthy websites.

My ambition is to be a teacher.Because I love the children. I want to stay with then. Then I feel happy and young. And the most important thing is I can teach them many thing. Should Text Books Be Recycled?

When the school begins, students need to start their new semester, the first thing they do is to buy the text books, most students will buy the new books, while it has become popular that students choose to buy the second-hand text books. It is good that text books are recycled, it can save the resource and reduce the waste, thus leaving more resources to the next generation. What’s more, it also saves students a lot of money.
