Most Chinese students have difficulties in learning English. The difficulties vary so much from person to person that it is difficult to cite here in a few words. Some may have problems in reading. Others may have trouble in writing. I also had problems in English learning, but my difficulty seemed to lie in listening. For example, when tested for listening comprehension, I couldnt understand a single sentence, let alone a passage of medium level.

In order to overcome the difficulty in my English learning, I made great efforts to find the key to the problem. I consulted my teacher and found out that I merely didnt have enough time to practice listening. So I bought a tape recorder and listened to it at least two hours a day. 为了克服困难在我的英语学习,我努力找到问题的关键。我咨询我的老师发现我只是没有足够的时间来练习听力。所以我买了一个录音机,听了一天至少两个小时。另外,我听美国之音特别英语”。我也出去和外国人说话校园时我们见面,这样我就可以有机会听母语。经过半年的努力,我可以得到70%的问题正确的听力测试。

我拥有我的成功归功于我的英语老师。这是他告诉我学英语的正确方法。他总是鼓励我当我遇到困难,感到失望。

Do you want to know what I did during the winter vacation? Well, on the first week, I did my homework,surfed the Internet,played computer games and watched TV.

On the second week, I helped my parents with housework, so I did the dishes, washed lots of my parents` clothes and helped them take out the trash.

On the third week, I chatted with my girl friend on cell phone(手机) and we both had a good time.I had a happy winter holiday! So how about you?

My mother is very kind and easygoing. She helps me a lot. She takes good care of my daily life. For example, every morning, she wakes me up and cooks breakfast for me. When I’m in trouble, She always encourages me to face my difficulties and cheers up. I still remember that once I argued with my best friend and was upset. My mother talked with me the whole night and finally helped me solve the problem. With her help, I become a top student in my class. I’m very thankful for all that she has done for me. I believe she will be proud of me in the near future
