Thanksgiving Day falls on the fourth Thursday of November every year. It is

the most truly American of the national Holidays in the United States. It is a

time for sharing. In the United States, it is their tradition that family

members get together for a reunion to have a traditional big dinner. On the

dinner table, people will find apples, oranges, chestnuts, walnuts and grapes.

There will be plum pudding, mince pie, other varieties of food and cranberry

juice and squash. The best and most attractive among them are roast turkey and

pumpkin pie. Although it is the traditional festival of America, it reminds us

of appreciation.

Recently, I saw a piece of news on the newspaper. This news has a picture

matched. The picture shows that a young lady sitting on the seat of a bus. But

it is strange that an old lady sits on the leg of the young lady, which there

are still many empty seats on the bus. I am totally moved after reading this

news. The old lady is the mother of the young lady. The old lady had some

problem with her back and leg that she couldn’t sit independently. And her

daughter does not want to see her mother stand on the bus in such an old lady,

so I see situation on the picture. Having read this, my eyes become wet. When we

are young, our mother will often carry us if there is any inconvenient, but when

our mother gets old, we seldom carry her.

The ancients had a saying: dripping, the smallest favor. In this world,

there are many people who grace to us. Our parents are the two people who give

us most grace. When we grow up, we need to say our thanks to them. As far as I

am concerned, thanks the people do good to us, especially our parents should be

long long ago, i want to have lunch with frank liu(classmate) on saturday. we saw few people buy the beef noodle, so we decided to buy that. then we went to the counter and bought two bowls. i was very surprised to see that there were only three small pieces of beef in my noodle and five in frank liu’s. i asked the seller to give us more, but we failed. i asked the seller three times. at last, he gave frank liu two pieces.

i was shocked. then i began to complain about this wick world . i promised that i wouldn’t eat beef noodle any more.

at that time, i had that dream.

yesterday, i went to lunch with frank liu again. this time, we saw no people buy the beef noodle, it was very unusual, and so i bought one. too my surprised, there were more than six big pieces of beef in my noodle. what a lucky day!! i said to myself.

i was very happy, because my dream had come true. but few minutes later, i felt worried again: maybe three days later, there will be three small pieces of beef in the noodle for the second time.

来到下棋班，果然因为雨太大了，只有我一个人来上课。老师给我一个人讲了课，还亲自跟我对局了几盘。虽然我身上被淋湿了，但是我却学到了新的下棋技术，在赛场上起了大作用。

下棋不仅让我学会了做任何事都要坚持不懈，更让我在赛场上锻炼了胜不骄，败不馁的毅力。

记得第一次参加省赛时，我的心里胆战心惊，很没有底气。在强手如林的赛场上，面对在年龄、个儿都比我大的对手，我紧张极了。第一盘很快就被打败了。但我告诫自己不能就此认输，要镇定，要沉着冷静。第二盘每走一步棋，我都认真思考，认真记录，眼睛一直盯住棋盘，绝不给对方一点进攻的机会，僵持了五十几个回合后，终于我得到了一个进攻的机会。对方连丢两个子，失败告终。我赢了，那一刻，我高兴地差点都要跳起来。最终我以7盘一负一和五胜赢得冠军。

下棋将一直陪伴着我在成长的道路上走下去，我要为自己点赞，为自己的刻苦努力点赞，为自己的坚持不懈点赞。

When I go to high school, our school has the rule to ask students to live

in the dormitory. Most students live with their parents before, so we all feel

excited and afraid of the group life. Luckily, I have three nice roommates. Soon

we become close friends. Living with others, we learn to do the house work, such

as everyone needs take turn to clean the floor, when we have something good to

eat, we will share with each other. The group life makes us have less private

每当金克同抱怨时，老师就会教导他，并细声细语告诉他怎么写。

没过几天，金克同的病又发作了：“我不要学习了，又要写作业，又要读，背。”每到这时，又是胡老师去慢慢开导他。

没错，无论什么“疑难杂症”，这位“万能医生”都会一一“治”好。

胡老师就是这样一个“医生”，她用“智慧”与“温柔”悄悄地帮同学们“治病”。这样的“万能医生”，难道不值得我敬佩吗?

I feel it a great honor to have a chance to give a speech here, talking

about the haze weather, which causes lots of bad effects on our health and life.

We breathe polluted air, making us suffer from lung and liver diseases. Besides,

because of it, the flights have to be canceled. All kind of transports may run

into each other, resulting in much damages and lots of injuries.

As far as I am concerned, it is high time that we did something. As

individuals, we should ride the underground or buses instead of cars to reduce

carbon dioxide. As government, more measures should be taken by carrying out the

related law on pollution.

In summary, we’re all looking forward to breathe fresher air and live a

For the first time, I climbed to the top of the mountain and enjoyed the

beautiful scenery.

It was a weekend when a good friend of mine asked me to climb a famous

mountain here. Ive always heard of this mountain, but I havent found the time to

climb it. So when my friend asked me out, I readily agreed.

On the way to climb mountains with my friends, we also met many climbers,

including young people and old people. The young mans speed of climbing was

fast, and he disappeared in a flash; the old mans climbing was very casual, at

least slowly, with a happy face. Maybe young people climb the mountain to get to

the top of the mountain, while old people climb the mountain to enjoy the

scenery along the way.

My friends and I are neither the first nor the second. We will carefully

taste the scenery along the way of climbing. The speed of climbing is not so

China is the biggest family with 56 ethnic groups. Among them, the Han

Chinese is the largest and the most highly developed group. The Han Chinese can

be found in many parts of China. They mainly live in the north plain region, the

middle and the lower reaches of Yangze River and Pearl River Deltas. The other

55 groups are the minority ethnic groups. They are distributed in the

mountainous areas of southwest and northwest of China.

Being too far away from big cities, the minority ethnic groups are poor in

economy and there people are not well-educated. They have very few

understandings of science and technology. So they must develop their

economy.

To help the people of the minority ethnic groups live better, the

government should take some effective measures. For one thing, more and more

knowledgeable undergraduates should be encouraged to those poor areas to help

the people there to get rid of their poverty. For another, the advanced science

and technology must be introduced into the minority ethnic groups to improve

their living conditions. More importantly, people of the minority ethnic groups

should be given equal opportunities to study and work. Only so will China be

more prosperous in the future.

青春是无忧、潇洒、勇敢、热情、追梦、启航的代名词，在那个花一般的年纪里，只要能感受到一点点阳光的灿烂、细雨的滋润、清风的问候，那我就会疯狂生长，不在乎一切的质疑、失败、疼痛和难耐，这还真是让人觉得无比向往。尤其是到了如今这个战战兢兢、犹犹豫豫、畏畏缩缩、束手束脚的年龄段时，我的激情、冲动、棱角、欲望、动力和希冀似乎都慢慢被锁在了深渊里无法逃离，这种焦虑、压抑、抑郁、无措、无奈、悲哀、讽刺的境地真是让我痛到了心扉，所以对以往那青春年少的日子就更加怀念了。

我记得读书时代的自己是极其心高气傲的，因为每年入学的成绩还算不错，因为每次大考的卷面还算可观，所以我一度自尊心、自信心、自豪感爆棚。尤其是当我多次荣誉的站到了领奖台上时，当我拼尽一切努力和运气考上大学的时候，我真是喜悦、骄傲、优越到了巅峰，乃至于错误的认为自己天赋异禀、不可一世，想想那时自己还真是中二到了极点。可是再回首看看现在叛逆、任性、愚笨、普通的自己呢，因为毕业后一直表现的平凡无奇，所以卑微、惭愧、自卑、自弃、自怜、自哀已经成为了自己所谓的盔甲和战袍，这还真真是讽刺、可笑、可悲到了顶点。

怀念啊，我的青春!正所谓没有对比就没有伤害，没有反思就没有进步，有了年少岁月的光环所衬托，我现在无比憎恨现在这个胆怯、懦弱、卑贱的自己，所以我极其想要寻找改变的机会，好让自己可以趁着青春的尾巴再勇敢一次，再拼命一回，这样哪怕会在前路上摔得很惨很重，我也就不会觉得那么遗憾、那么悔恨和那么不甘了!

只要心中永远青春，那么从头再来永远不迟，但愿我可以重新做回从前那个勇敢、无畏、坚强、韧性的少年，那样的话我就不会被质疑、冷眼、风雨、打击和失败所阻挠了。

现在的科技日益发达，每个人都离不开必要的通讯工具，那就是手机，今天我要介绍的是我妈妈的手机。

它的造型别致，光滑的屏幕，只要你轻轻按一下，下面的那个按钮就会亮起来，你就会看见那些缤纷多彩和五花八门的应用程序和游戏啦!手机的背面，它黑黑的，没有一条痕迹，这是因为它有手机套的保护，上面有一个缺了一小块的苹果的标志，它的里面有一块电池，虽然我们看不见它，但是它却起着不小的作用呢!

手机不仅外形独特，而且作用也很大。有一次周末，妈妈休息在家，这时，妈妈单位打来电话对妈妈说，现在要召开电话会议。我正在纳闷，电话怎么能开会呢?只见妈妈拿起电话，熟练的拨了几个按键，只听手机里传来：“欢迎您进入会议系统，请输入登录密码。”妈妈又拨了几个键子，手机那边又传来：“请按“0”号键旁听，按“#”号键发言。”不一会儿，手机里就传来有人讲话的声音。过了大约半个小时，妈妈高兴的告诉我，她们部门在这个月取得了销售第一的好成绩，看着妈妈高兴的样子，我都替妈妈高兴。

还有一次，我跟爸爸妈妈一起出去吃饭，不知道为什么那天饭店上菜的速度特别的慢，都过了二十多分钟，我的肚子都饿的咕咕叫，菜还是没有上全，特别是我最喜欢吃的金针蘑还没有上来，我实在是等的不耐烦了，我就问妈妈：“妈妈，能把你的手机借我玩一会儿么?”妈妈回答到：“我看你今天表现的不错，就批准你玩一会吧。”我高兴的一把拿过手机，飞快的进入我最喜欢的“黄金矿工”游戏，这个游戏可以锻炼我的反应能力，我已经通过了二十七关，每过一关，我都会有无比的自豪感。

我真是喜欢妈妈的这部手机啊!

大雪纷飞的日子，我和姐姐忙里偷闲，相约去苏州玩城堡探险的游戏。

到了城堡乐园，我立刻被眼前的景象深深吸引住了：一个个大笼子吊在屋顶上，总共有三层据说有几十米高，每一层的架子颜色都不一样，象征着各种关卡，还有高难度的勇者攀岩，刺激惊险。

妈妈付好钱后，姐姐和我飞快地冲了进去，像离弦的箭。我们先在海洋球里玩耍，在大笼子里玩捉迷藏，头发乱糟糟的像个鸟窝，还在快活的打滚儿，疯成一团。这时教练走了过来，他们一男一女，男教练是个帅哥，酷酷的，女教练戴着一副圆圆的眼镜，头发长长的，看起来十分亲切。

“来，小勇士们，我们开始闯关了。”

教练指导着我们，麻利的穿上了安全服戴上安全帽，系上安全带。姐姐先带头爬了上去，主要测试的是胆量和平衡，一关比一关难，脚踩着的木板不断摇晃，绳子之间的距离越来越远，我的一颗心都悬了起来，有点波折，幸运的是前三层险险过关。

我们快活的修整一下，接着又在大笼子里爬来爬去，突然我发现了一面彩色的墙上面镶嵌着一块块“石子”。我问姐姐，姐姐说：“那是勇者攀岩的场地，你最好别去，上次我去爬，爬到半路怎么也爬不上去，吓得我在上面哭了好久才被解救下来……”我很好奇，没有玩过攀岩，更想体验一下，我说：“姐姐，我去试一下，挑战一下!”姐姐说：“那我在下面给你加油，不行就下来!”

我换好安全服，红色的帽子，精神抖擞，在教练的指导下，开始攀爬。刚开始比较轻松，因为抓着踩着的石头都是方方的，脚的着力点比较稳。渐渐的石头变成圆圆的，踩上去滑溜溜的，我一下子紧张起来，速度渐渐慢了下来，还不到一半呢，往上一望，怎么办?坚持，我又爬了一个坡度，抬起脚试探着一踩，似乎可以着力，使劲一踩，没想到一下子滑了下来，在空中打起转儿。心提到了嗓子眼，危急之际，我用手紧紧抓着上面的石头，还好上面的石头是方的，固定住了身形。又爬了一段，踩脚的石头渐渐变成了圆形，压根就踩不住，又开始打起转来，费了九牛二虎之力才重新固定了身形。我有点泄气了，害怕的在原地不敢动了!下面的姐姐喊着加油，妈妈挥着手，“我不能放弃”，这时内心有个声音响了起来，“瑶瑶加油，你是个坚强勇敢的女孩!”我一下子来了精神，前进——失败——前进——失败——前进，数不清多少次的尝试后，我使劲往上一窜，我抓住了上面的石头，向着胜利的锣鼓奔去，不知道过了多久，我终于敲响了它，“咚咚咚，我胜利了!”俯瞰下面，感觉自己高大极了!

下来的时候，我没出息的哭了起来，可是这眼泪是甜的!

有一次，我们一家打算去长白山旅游。于是我老妈召开了家庭会议。老妈问：“我们一家要不要长白山旅游呢?”我和老爸举起双手喊道：“赞同!”就这样，我们全家人就开始为旅游“备战”了。

出发那天的早上，我还在梦中和我的偶像一起玩一个叫《我的手工世界》的游戏，正玩到精彩时刻，就被“罪该万死”的响钟“残忍”地叫醒了。我真想把闹钟变成一大堆零件。老妈来到我的床前，大声说：“儿子，该起床了!”我伸了一个懒腰，答道：“知道了。”我们一家人就跟着旅游团一起出发了。

我从小就有一个最大的“仇敌”，那就是晕车、晕船、晕机。这次我吃了晕车药，但仍然吐了一路。我坐在车上痛苦地说：“我可能吃了假药。”到站后，我以为“灾难”已经过去了，但是我太“天真”了——真正的“灾难”刚刚开始——我们还要坐车上山!

山路弯弯曲曲，在我看来，这简直跟游乐园中的过山车有的一拼。又经过了漫长的煎熬，最后我们终于到了美丽又神秘的天池。

站在天池边上，欣赏着湖光山色，仿佛路上的一切颠簸都烟消云散了。这场最大的“灾难”让我明白了“先苦后甜”这一道理。

生活就像一个调色盘，五颜六色，多姿多彩。生活中的启示无处不在，它们就像一株株清香可人的花，绽放在我们的身边，让我们睁开那双善于发现的慧眼，去找找它们吧!

今天，看见超市里有卖粽子的，我就央求妈妈给我买几个，老妈爽快地说：“明天我们一起包!”。

开始包粽子了，我麻利地拿起一片叶子，抓上一大把米，塞上了两个大红枣，费了九牛二虎之力才把口封上，才兴奋了没几秒，“呲”一声响，米漏出来了!我仔细一看，啊!原来是角破了。妈妈过来对我说;“不要急，看妈妈给你做个示范。”粽叶在妈妈手中飞舞着，我仔细的看着，心里暗暗发誓，下次只许成功不许失败!加油加油!

我再次卷起粽叶，角上填上小枣，又小心地抓了把糯米，笨手笨脚地堵上口。开始缠线了，这次我缠得非常紧，很像一个皱巴巴的老爷爷那沧桑的面庞。虽然丑，但是却包住了。我左看右看，怎么也分辨不出是什么形状。再看看妈妈包的粽子。哇!又漂亮又结实，不但棱角分明，还能看出是个圆鼓鼓的小胖子呢。于是，我不服输的劲头上来了，一定要包个好看的!

又到了关键一步，缠线!这次缠得时候，我想了想：假若是医生给病人缠带子的话，可不能缠得这么丑，肯定要美观一些。于是，我下足了功夫，包了个有模有样的粽子。但是，我忽略了一点，粽子虽然美观，但是，绑得却不够紧，不一会儿，就又破了。

我就像一个撒了气的气球，垂头丧气。思量再三，我想出了一个好办法。缠线时，我把线的一头用嘴使劲咬住，腾出手来，一手绕线，一手使劲缠。我打量着自己的作品，有型了，也紧实了，只是不太美观，像一只小哈巴狗趴在那儿。我忍不住咧嘴笑起来。

“这样就不错了，毕竟是第一次嘛”。妈妈笑着说道。

通过这件事我明白了一个道理：要想学会一样本领，就要坚持不懈的努力。

圆有缺角，失其形体，却觅得意外之趣。玉本为环，缺角成玦，更独具其风姿。窃思“人有悲欢离合，月有阴晴圆缺”之句，圆月固好，缺亦平添风韵：原来，有时候缺憾也是一种美。

缺憾于物，平添其风韵万千。法国卢浮宫的那尊绝世的雕像——断臂维纳斯，有多少人为她失去一双臂膊而扼腕长叹，又有多少美术家雕塑者设计出了维纳斯那令人魂牵梦萦的双臂?然而，维纳斯的神韵，却全在那一对残臂。是她的断臂攫住了看客的心魂，是她的断臂折下了美神的桂枝，是她的断臂奏出了世间最美好的乐章!谁又会否认维纳斯的断臂不是一种美呢?缺憾于物，也就成了一种独特的风韵，如瓷釉冰裂纹，其美全者不能比也。

缺憾于人，更显其长处之长。谁还会记得南唐灭国，后主之政见错在何处?只有“小楼昨夜又东风，故国不堪回首月明中”的泣血之词在青史册上，哀转久绝。诚然李后主是一介生于深宫之中，长于妇人之手的纨绔庸君，但他又是将词从伶官之曲提到士大夫之词的文学推进者，更是在文坛上声誉卓绝的绝代词人。在“梦里不知身是客，一晌贪欢”的缺憾之美前，我们怎能怒斥这薄命的亡国之君?于治国理政而言，李煜有诸多不足，但这种缺憾更加凸显了他的辞采华美，情意绵长。

缺憾于人，更能催人奋进。苏东坡自道活得潇洒，“一蓑烟雨任平生”，却不合时宜，多次贬谪。刨去那宗乌台诗案，他也曾贬谪杭州，一度无缘京城朝堂。随口吟得一句“欲把西湖比西子”，却发现西湖已是个濒死的西子。他本可沉溺于贬谪之痛或纸醉金迷，但他却指挥着杭州城所有的百姓，以四项足以忙翻整个朝廷的水利工程救下了在杂草中濒死的西湖。官场的缺憾，并未消磨他为利一方的心，而是促使他为官一任，造福一方。缺憾，给了人静心求进的机会，激起了人再度奋发的动力。所以：缺憾，必然使人奋进。

蚓无爪牙之利，所以终钻土而成;蟹有二螯六跪，所以终挖洞而无一深。玉全为环，圆润高贵，缺亦为玦，独具风姿。缺憾，何尝不能是一种美?面对缺憾，我们不要沉湎其中而哀恸难拔，而要深谙缺憾之美，以缺憾成就更美好的自己。

苏轼云：人有悲欢离合，月有阴睛圆缺。

自古便是如此，即使历史已走过千年，即使水已淌过万载，亘古不变。

这是憾事么?正因为如此，所以世界是悲哀的么?不，当然不。

如月，自由其阴睛圆缺，而不是一成不变的一轮，试想，如若月儿夜夜皆圆，晚晚都满，那还会有从古至今无数对其的赞美与慨叹吗?还会有今日象征团员的中秋节吗?我们还能欣赏到月缺时月儿那犹抱琵琶半遮面的羞怯之美吗?不，并不会。

如果没有阴睛圆缺这般变化，便不会有李煜的“无言独上西楼”，更不会有李清照的“雁字归时，月满西楼”的千古绝唱。如果没有阴睛圆缺这般变化，夜夜所见的月便是圆得近乎完美、近乎不真实的月，这样，便不会有那个特殊的、象征团圆的节日，因为夜夜皆团园。

没有了阴睛圆缺这般变化的月，便如只缺少了瞳孔的眼，苍白而空洞。这样的月，称其为夜间的太阳又何妨?那样的月，已不是月了。

如蝶。所有的蝶，都不是天生便拥有那绚丽的翅膀，也不是天生便懂得翩翩起舞的。他们出生，仅仅只是丑陋而不堪入目的毛虫而已，只会在地上缓慢地蠕动。它们必须吐出丝，然后一圈一圈地，亲手将丝勒进自己的皮肉，勒断自己的呼吸。然后，默默等待破茧，等待自己破茧而出，展开重生后绚丽得耀眼的翅膀。并且，飞翔，在空中绚丽的飞翔，得到赞美不已的目光。

正是因为前面的不完美，才能蜕变，蜕变成为令人惊叹的完美。

亦如人生。

漫漫人生路，总有说不尽的离愁。像面对一个陌生的环境，总忍不住忆起过往，心中满是对亲人的思念，对朋友的思念。只有切身体会，才能理解古人漂泊异乡，思念家乡的情感，才能理解折柳相送，依依借别之情。

然而，没有曾经的聚，何来的离?没有过往的喜，何来的悲?聚散离合，本有着人生定数。何况，若生活无悲无喜，如一源死水，如倒带般重复着那般一成不变，不是更可怕么?这样的生活，叫生活么?因为月阴，月睛才可贵：因为月缺，月圆才更完美。人生有悲，才懂得欢的珍贵：人生有离，才懂得合的难得。

人生本无常，因此，才完美。

With the spread of the consciousness of environmental protection, the word

“low-carbon” has been very popular in life. We can find it in many aspects, such

as low-carbon products, low-carbon consumption, and low-carbon travel and so on.

Generally speaking, more and more people are advocating “low-carbon”

lifestyle.

As implied in the name, “low-carbon” lifestyle is a kind of new pattern of

lifestyle which aims to lowering the carbon dioxide emission in living as much

as possible. For example, some office workers are not proud of driving private

cars from work to home any more but pride themselves on riding or taking public

transportation. In addition, they advocate recycling water and saving energy as

much as they can.

As college students, we also make some contribution in our daily life to

reduce the emission of the carbon dioxide. For example, switch off the light

when leaving and save water. In addition, we should use our knowledge and action

to arouse others’ concern about the importance of lowering emission of carbon

dioxide and lead them to lead a “low-carbon” life.

The environmental pollution is worse and worse today. Many trees are cut

down, and water and air are polluted. As a student I try to have a low-carbon

life to save energy and reduce pollution.Firstly, I often walk to school. It can

reduce air pollution. Secondly, I always turn off the lights and fans when

leaving the classroom.

Thirdly, I always make full use of paper and other school things and never

waste water.

I wish more students to join me and make the earth more and more

beautiful.

像往常一样，我踏着夕阳的余晖，在森林中散心。沿着小径我边走边看，啊!周围的美景令我目不暇接，恨不得多张几双眼睛。

我没有带任何东西，也不需要任何东西。看!那在树枝上蹦蹦跳跳的小鸟在向我招手，你应该是这里最好的向导吧!能否请你带我去游赏一圈如何?小鸟好像听懂了，欣然地点了点头。展开他那湛蓝的翅膀，不疾不徐地飞在我身前，为我引路。

进了森林，首先映入眼帘的就是，翩翩起舞的蝴蝶。大部分花在晚上都睡觉，可它不一样，它在晚上坐着一个五彩缤纷的梦，在花梗上跳起来，开始梦游，从朝至暮几乎没有一刻休息，那些各种颜色，各种香味——蝴蝶是一朵朵，梦游的花啊!

呵!好痒，我低下头，原来是调皮的蒲公英，我笑道：再挠我，我就让你起飞!它还不怕，还挠我，于是我俯下身，深吸气。“呼”一个个打着伞，站的笔杆条直的小兵被我吹飞了，“也不知道他们会飞去哪里?应该是个山清水秀的地方吧!“我心想。

大树爷爷穿着绿军装，您都不曾脱下来过吧!能否请您给我讲讲，花开花落，人来人往，您一定知道许多!

这时，我跟随小鸟来到了池塘边，就在此时，雨姑娘来啦!她踏着轻快的脚步，从我身边走过。鸟儿怕我淋湿，还给我踩了个又大又绿的荷叶呢!我听见池塘里的鱼儿正在窃窃私语，说我戴了一个又大又绿的帽子，令我哭笑不得。在路上，我还把一个受伤的小鸟放回了窝中，鸟妈妈很感激我，给了我许多草籽，我既心花怒放，又为自己的行为感到自豪。

我还看到了许多：小松鼠，花小姐，山泉哥哥……可是天色已晚，不得不回家了。我分别和他们告别，还好月亮姐姐一起回的家!这真是个山清水秀的好地方!
