Before I came to middleSchool, I felt so excited about the new life, and I

had prepared for it for the whole summer vacation. The moment I stepped in the

school, it surprised me. The green trees and colorful flowers are around the

写完作业后的一个星期天下午，我看着空空的罐头瓶和几盒奥利奥，突然想到一个好主意——做蛋糕。

首先准备好一包奥利奥、几块巧克力、一些饼干、一把汤匙、一把叉子、一杯热水和一个纸杯。

第一步：融化巧克力。剥开巧克力，放到保鲜膜上再摆至热水杯中。其间可以先做第二步：分离奥利奥。打开包装，先“扭”开饼干，再用叉子横向刮去夹心，放置保鲜膜备用。留一个完整的奥利奥和两片饼干备用，其余饼干掰碎放入包装，把开口处向上翻卷几次，用手捏碎。

第三步：粉碎饼干。拿出几片饼干包入保鲜膜，用汤匙压成小块儿。

第四步：“融化”奥利奥。把四分之三的奥利奥粉倒入空纸杯，加入热水，用汤匙搅拌至粘糊状。

第五步：装罐。第一层放刚刚“融化”好的奥利奥碎，倒入后用汤匙铺平。第二层放奥利奥夹心，把夹心捏至饼状，大小比罐头瓶小一圈，放到罐内用汤匙处理边缘。第三层放巧克力，用汤匙把融化好的功克力放到夹心上，铺平。第四层撒入奥利奥碎，轻轻摇晃罐头瓶。第五层放饼干碎，倒入后轻轻摇晃。看起来还有很多空，有了!用橘子吧!橘子冻过后口感如冰沙。剥开橘子，取几辩放入纸杯，用汤匙压出汁，一起倒入罐头瓶。最后，摆上奥利奥和一些饼干作装饰。

第六步：放置水箱冷冻层。盖上盖子，放入冰箱冷冻。

反正我是星期二下午饿了才拿出来吃的，冻两个小时应该也差不多，用汤匙无法挖到底，只好一层一层地吃。冻过的奥利奥确实和我想象中的一样，不腻了，橘子除了太硬也没缺点，饼干碎还是老样子。不过巧克力和夹心已经粘在了一起，味道和口感都不错，就是太腻了，得配水。最后一层不知道是没冻住，还是化了，和没冻一样，很腻。

不过自己做的蛋糕确实不错，同学们，你们动手做过什么零食吗?

Once man did not have to think about the protection of his environment。

There were few people on the earth， and natural resources seemed to be

unlimited。

Today things are different。 The world has bee too crowded。 We are using up

our natural resources，and polluting our environment with dangerous chemicals。 If

we continue to do this， human life on earth will not survive。

We realize that if too many fish are taken from the sea， there will soon be

none left。 Yet，with modern fishing methods， more and more fish are caught。We

know that if too many trees are cut down， forests will disappear。 Yet， we

continue to use powerful machines to cut down more and more trees。 We see that

if rivers are polluted with waste products， we will die。 Yet， waste products

are

still put into rivers。

We know that if the population continues to rise at the present rate， in a

few years， there wont be enough food。What can we do to solve these

problems?

If we eat more vegetables and less meat， there will be more food available。

Land for crops feeds five times more people than land where animals are

kept。

Our natural resources will last longer if we learn to recycie them。

The world population will not rise so quickly if people use modern methods

of birth control。

Finally， if we educate people to think about the problems we shall have a

better and cleaner planet in the future。

I always care so much about the food I eat, because my stomach is a little

week, so I can’t eat the junk food all the time. The healthy food makes me keep

fit so I eat it. Vegetable is very important, we should eat it every meal. The

fruit contains a lot of vitamins, it is in need. The fish is best for me.

The generation gap refers to the difference in attitude toward thing or the

lack of understanding between young people and older folks.

In families as well as in society, the young and the older may not agree

with each other on this and that from time to time. Young people would llke to

make as much money as they could and spend as much money as they could earn

while older folks are easily satisfied with what they earn and save as much as

possible. Young people llke the exciting and deafening pop music while older

folks prefer melodious folk-songs or classic music. A boy and a glrl today may

fall in love with each other as quick as lightning, while their parents or grand

parents might trudge over a long distance before they kissed each other and

became lovers when they were young.

However, we should not be amazed at the generation gap,for it is quite

natural in the development of society. The world is a changing world, in which

everything keeps changing, generations of human beings included. And changes

lead to progress.
