Being short-sighted is common among students, even in primary school. That is too serious. Therefore, we should protect our eyes carefully. When we are reading and writing, we should keep a standard posture. Besides, we should not watch TV or play computer for too long. They are bad for our eyes. And, we should do eyes exercises regularly. A good rest is also important to our eyes. In all, eyes are the windows of our mind. We should keep it healthy.

可爱的大熊猫同学们，你们知道人们经常说的“中国国宝”是谁吗？啊哈，那就是憨态可掬的大熊猫。 大熊猫是世界上最珍贵的动物之一，数量十分稀少，属于国家一级保护动物。现存的大熊猫主要的栖息地在中国四川，陕西，甘肃等周边山区。熊猫其实是杂食动物，多数人认为熊猫只吃竹子，其实熊猫也吃水果，肉类，饿的时候也会吃一些小动物。 暑假里，妈妈带我去动物园。

在动物园里，看到了许多动物，但最好玩的就是那憨态可掬的大熊猫。 它胖乎乎、圆滚滚的，很逗人喜爱。他们的头部和身体都是白色的，只有眼圈、耳朵、肩部和腿是黑褐色的。特别是那一对黑黑的眼圈长在白白的脸上，像是带着一副墨镜，加上那笨拙的动作和走起路来东张西望的神情，显得非常可爱。 动物园里的大熊猫，经过训练，还会表演许多节目呢！我最喜欢看大熊猫翻跟斗。它缩成一团，活像个大皮球。 熊猫睡觉时，也不老实。有时，它用前爪轻轻地拍着肚子；有时，它两腿一蹬，就翻个身。我还以为它睡醒了，其实它还在睡。它睡醒了就翻身起来，用手揉揉眼睛，好奇的望望人们。 熊猫吃东西的时候，常常直着身子盘腿坐下，前爪抓住鲜嫩的竹子往嘴里送。它爱吃鲜嫩的竹叶。吃饱了，还得用水润润喉咙。它走到水池边，俯下身子，前腿靠着池边，低下头，咕嘟咕嘟的喝起来。看它那副模样，真是让人发笑。 熊猫是世界上的珍贵动物，是动物园中的宠儿。它的一举一动，都会给成千上万的游人增添无穷的乐趣。 同学们，让我们一起来保护熊猫吧！ 浦厂小学 五（3）班 高 颖

How long haven’t you saw the star at night in the city? Would you miss the fresh and sweet air? Have noticed the river had seriously been polluted? Would you mind listening the crazy honking car horns instead of the birds’ ringing everyday? Could you be calm down if leave the air conditioning room in summer? Around us a little observation , air pollution, drought, flood, global warming, tsunami, earthquake and so on, was more closer to us. Caring for our earth, imminently! Not only for ourself, but for our further generations. As a teenagers, especially a college student, there are lots of things we can do to stop damaging our environment. Firstly, changing the way we think of our environment, facing the reality of our environment which have been seriously damage. Secondly, take some actions and from the side small start like play a tree, install low-flow shower heads and applicants, use public transport , less plastic bags and so on. The last but not the least, influence our neighbors by our behavior and let more and more people care for our motherland. Environment, is the source of our lives; In this environment, is the human survival; Environment is the human the beacon; If we dont take care of it, it will lead to the death of human society.

In the long river of human history development, there are many celebrities attaches great importance to the environment. British poet byron once said: "I love not man the less, but more love the nature." I cant help but think of the lawn culture in the United States. The lawn for americans create a better living environment, also has brought immeasurable benefit. Americans pay attention to the lawn has become a tradition, and even has become a cultural phenomenon. And the lawn culture coexist is American good social morality consciousness. Especially holiday people walking on the lawn, play ball, dinner and all kinds of recreational activities, and in the atmosphere of comfortable, quiet and tastefully laid out and is inaccessible by the indoor activities. 在人类历史发展的长河中，有许多名人很重视环境。英国的诗人拜伦曾说过 ：“我不是不爱人类，而是更爱大自然。”法国蒙台涅也说：“我们已经背弃了大自然，她曾那样准确地为我们指路，而我们却想用她的教导来教训她。”这些名人所说的话让我们明白保护环境是多么重要。

我不禁想起了美国的草坪文化。草坪给美国人创造了美好的生活环境，亦带来了难以估量的好处。人们可以充分分享大自然的恩赐，不仅空气清新，而且也调节了气温，给人们恬静、安详的感受。美国人重视草坪已成为传统，甚至已发展成为一种文化现象。与草坪文化共存的是美国人良好的社会公德意识。特别是假日人们多在草坪上散步、玩球中、聚餐和进行各种娱乐活动，其舒适、幽雅之氛是室内活动所无法企及的。我们也应像美国人一样，爱护草坪，重视环境。

反之，大地给予所有人的是物质的精华，而最后，它从人们那里得到的回报是物质性的垃圾。1991年，一支登山队在攀登珠穆朗玛峰时遇到了大雪。令他们惊奇的是，天上飘下的黑色雪花纷纷扬扬，使大地和天空笼罩在阴霾中。引起这场黑雪的原因是1990年爆发的海湾战争，给环境带来了深重的灾难，由于环境污染造成的损失远远超过战争的直接经济损失。从这件故事中，我们深深地了解这场灾难造成了很大损失，我们要让世界变得美丽，一定要爱护环境，不能再破坏了。
