汶川大地震，给灾区的民众造成了巨大的身心痛苦，也使得地图上那样一个狭小的区域，成为全国人民最为牵挂的地方。所谓人命关天，在部分同胞受难之时，举国的悲恸充分表现了出来。国际社会也迅速表达了关切与慰问。

当一场大地震已经发生，而且余震不断，此时的关键词其实只剩下两个字，即“救”与“援”。某种意义上，“援”也是“救”的组成部分。毫无疑问，救灾已成为当前中国政府与民众最为重要的任务。

救灾救什么?这似乎是一个无须思考的问题。但事实上，救灾的真义必须得到厘清。救灾的第一要务，当为拯救生命。与生命相比，财产的损失与灾后的重建等都已经相对次要，或者说，包括抢救财产以及对于地震中出现问题的反思等，都应该退到“拯救生命”这一极端重要的议题之后。

在地震灾害现场指挥抢救的温家宝总理说过一句话，“只要有双手，家园就能重建”——这句话真切地诠释出了救灾的真义所在。换言之，这也是中国政府将救人作为首要任务的理念之源。正因为生命只有一次，无法以其他之物替代，故救灾者必须以最快的速度，以最大的努力，甚至不惜采取任何手段，“不惜任何代价”，拯救灾区民众的生命。

这意味着，以政府为主导的救援体系须将重心落在对生命的挽救上。随着时间的推移，伤亡数字也将会不断增加。数万人的生命安危，其实就是最严厉的灾情命令。只要有一线的希望，救援者就必须以百倍的努力，从废墟中寻找可能的生还者，从正在倒塌的建筑物中抢救出每一个生命。

应该看到，救灾不仅依赖信心、勇气与团结的精神，也依赖专业的救援队伍与技术配置。尽管人人都可为救灾尽力，但在一定条件下，救灾又是一个技术活，专业性强、风险度高、劳动量大。不能不提到，中国军人又一次发挥了“钢铁长城”的作用，在艰苦的救灾条件下，作战在灾区的精锐部队充分体现出了威武之师的雄风。年轻的中国军人在灾区救援的情景，确实令人深切地感到了血浓于水的鱼水深情。

将拯救生命视为压倒一切的首要任务，也意味着，救援者必须争分夺秒，与死神赛跑。那些废墟里奄奄一息的生命，正在急切地等待救助。“时间就是生命”的含义，在此时也得到了最真切地体现。救援者早一秒进入受灾地区，就能早抢救出一个生命。在震中地区交通不便甚至中断的情况下，温家宝总理要求救援队伍“就是步行也要尽快进入受灾最严重的地区”，突出强调了地震救援之时间概念的重要性。

还应该看到，地震救灾不仅仅是政府之事。如同面对以往任何一场重大自然灾害一样，在政府之力之外，拯救生命的行动，还依赖于民众与非政府机构众志成城。包括给予灾区人民的精神激励、物质的支持，以及包括积极献血等切实的行动等，均会对救援行动产生积极效果。汶川大地震发生之后，不少企业与个人，已开始紧急捐赠财物，运往最需要的地方。非灾区民众发出的祝福与鼓励，已让人充分感受到了温暖而坚定的民族力量。

天灾无情人有情。在一场拯救生命的全民战斗中，胜利终将属于历经灾难考验的中华民族。

在这一个小学阶段最后的寒假里，除了出门旅行之外，我几乎是整日泡在书的海洋里畅游。虽然如此，但我依然觉得非常充实且有意义。

寒假里，我看了各种各样的书籍。从童话到科普图书，从小说到名著------。其中带给我最深印象的是介绍作者童年时代生活的《童年》、讲述一位美国黑人奴隶在惨无人道的奴隶制的压迫下艰难地生活最终死去的故事的《汤姆叔叔的小屋》、有借助老人与鲨鱼英勇搏斗来教育我们做任何事不能软弱的《老人与海》等等，回回精彩溢呈，章章扣人心弦，让人爱不释手，受益非浅。有它们相伴，当然不会寂寞。

读书读累了，我还会出门游玩。时间不容许我去祖国的名胜古迹游玩，但能够去野外的青山绿水、山涧小道玩玩，让我增长知识，开阔眼界，从整日的看书学习中跳出来，休闲、轻松一下，这不也很有意义吗?

轻松之余，当然不能忘了学习。除了完成老师布置的作业外，我还会写写作文，练练书法，算算奥数，全面锻炼自己的脑力。你可别说做作业是件头疼的事，其实，只要能投入在其中，你会发现——原来完成作业并不麻烦，甚至还有些有趣呢!

这就是我所度过的寒假，一个充实、有趣、具有意义的愉快假期!

Save the Wild Animals

Many wild animals are facing the danger of extinction, because the environment that they are living in has changed greatly. For example, with the developmet of cities, the using of insecticide and serious pollution, their living areas have become narrowcr and narrower. Many of the wild animals, now are confronted with food crisis. At the same time, man is killing off species just for getting their fur, skin, horns, teeth and meat.

In order to protect our resources of ecology, people should realize that the loss of any species is at least the loss of source of knowledge and a source of natural beauty. There fore, measures of the following should be taken: pollution standards are made to keepdown poisons; killing off certain rare species is prohibited; national parks should be set up as wild life, reserves.

Only if we human beings take some drastic measures can wild animals be preserved.

保护野生动物

许多野生动物正面临绝种的危险，因为它们生活的环境发生了极大的变化。譬 如，随着城市的发展，杀虫剂的使用和严重的污染，野生动物的生活区域变得越来越狭小。许多野生动物目前正面临着食物方面的危机。同时，为了获取野生动物的毛、皮、角、牙齿和肉，人类正在屠杀野生动物。

为了保护生态资源，人们应当意识到任何物种的缺失，至少意味着知识资源和自然美的缺失。因此，应采取以下措施：制订污染标准以降低有毒物质;严禁杀害某些稀有物种;应建立国家公园作为野生动植物保护区。

我们只有采取一些有力措施，才能保护野生动物。

Shopping came in an endless stream, some are buying New Year pictures, some are buying necessities and some sit around the stove fire box to watch TV, there are people playing mahjong, etc., to name but a few.

The street was a sea of people, all kinds of goods full of beautiful things in eyes, what people want to buy, Im afraid it is difficult to choose.

Before the Spring Festival, every family all lights, all dressed up to the house having a unique style, each have each personality. They put to buy necessities are all over the floor. Buy whats posted pictures, then each have their own style and preferences. Some dish, some backwards, and the crooked stick, each has his strong point. People buy vegetables all done, just wait for one to the Chinese New Year festival can be a festival. Families with firecrackers, people wear new clothes, preparing New Year, before the Spring Festival, people go out, if you had a good friend, mouth always dont forget to say "to buy necessities."

盼啊!盼啊，眼看春节就快到了，想到这儿，我不由得笑了起来，在春节前，人们个个喜气洋洋、精神饱满。逛街的人络绎不绝，有的在买年画，有的在买年货，有的坐着火箱围着火炉看电视，还有的人在打麻将等等，不一而足。

街上人山人海，各种各样的货物琳琅满目，人们恐怕想买什么都很难选择。

春节前，家家户户都灯火通明，都把房子打扮得别具一格，各有各的个性。他们把买来的年货放得满地都是。买来的年画怎么个贴法，那就各有自己的风格和喜好了。有的正着贴，有的倒着贴，还有的歪着贴，各有千秋。人们把买来的菜全部都弄好了，只等春节一到就可一饱口福了。家家备有鞭炮，人们穿上新衣服，准备迎新年、在春节前，人们一出门，如果遇上了好好朋友，口中总是不忘说一句“买年货啊。”

人们杀猪宰羊，忙碌地准备着春节大吃大喝一番。

春节到了，小朋友们便早早起床，来到爸爸妈妈的房间开始了传统的拜年仪式。小朋友们对父母说着一些吉祥话儿，爸妈就拿出压岁钱，让小孩子们高高兴兴。大家都希望今年能够吉祥如意。

人们一直玩到深诳，跟里啃着美味的水果，手里燃放鞭炮烟花……大人小孩子忘怀的玩个痛快。
