伴随着新年钟声的敲响，元旦来了。动画城里的小人们都为庆祝元旦而忙碌。在动画城里还有一个多年不变的风气，那就是在元旦那天举行文艺比赛。元旦之前就有许多四面八方的居民来报名，比如，喜羊羊老弟和他的羊羊伙伴;灰太狼大叔带着他的老婆红太郎大婶;米老鼠和他的好朋友也来了;还有海绵宝宝和派大星。他们各各都报了精彩节目，真是"八仙过海，各显神通"啊!
