有一位“客人”来到了我家，这位“客人”是一只小鸭子。

这只鸭子，浑身上下布满金黄色的绒毛，像披着一件金外套。从头顶一直连到尾巴，有一条显眼的黑线，和黄色一衬，黑黄相间，黑的显得更黑，黄的则显得越发黄了。头顶的黑色浓些，远看好像戴上了一顶黑色的礼帽；身上的黑色淡些，但也很明显，好像一条精致的发带；尾巴全黑，摇晃起来就像一朵怒放的墨菊。脸上镶嵌着两颗黑玻璃球般的眼睛，望着我好像渴望我给它温暖。有些扁的·黄中带橘的嘴上面，有两粒沙粒般大小的鼻孔。

这鸭子的叫声，并不是人们常说的“嘎嘎”，而是像鸟一样，长短不同，粗细各异，时而尖锐时而优雅，时而急促时而缓慢，变化多端。在人睡觉时，它也一直叫唤，凌晨也是，真是淘气。

While canadians celebrate on the second Monday of October. I have a penfriend in America. He wrote to me his Thanksgiving Day last year. He told me that it was a time for family reunion. Families would come back home to celebrate the festival together. Most of the time it was his mother who prepared the dinner. Turkey is must for the festival. It looks like huge chicken. 可可是我最好的朋友，它是一只可爱的德牧犬。它是我生日的时候爸爸和妈妈送给我的礼物，我可喜欢啦！

可可胖乎乎的，浑身的毛乌黑发亮，蜷缩在毯子上睡觉的时候，就像一个小绒球，让你忍不住想去摸摸它，软软的、滑滑的，特别舒服！它那圆圆的小脑袋上竖着两只三角形的耳朵，总能听见很远很远的声音，一双葡萄似的大眼睛闪闪发光，再配上一个非常灵敏的鼻子和一张贪吃的小嘴巴，看起来可爱极了！

animals are natural resources that people have wasted all through our history. animals have been killed for their fur and feathers, for food, for sport, and simply because they were in the way. thousands of kinds of animals have disappeared from the earth forever. hundreds more are on the danger list today. about 170 kinds in the united states alone are considered in danger.

why should people care? because we need animals, and because once they are gone, there will never be any more.animals are more than just beautiful or interesting. they are more than just a source of food. every animal has its place in the balance of nature. destroying one kind of animal can create many problems. for example, when farmers killed large numbers of hawks, the farmers` stores of corn and grain were destroyed by rats and mice. why? because hawks eat rats and mice, with no hawks to keep down their numbers, the rats and mice multiplied quickly.

luckily, some people are working to help save the animals. some groups raise money to let people know about the problem. and they try to get the governments to pass laws protecting animals in danger. quite a few countries have passed laws. these laws forbid the killing of any animal or planton the danger list. slowly, the number of some animals in danger is growing.

我喜欢的小动物是我家的小狗“奶茶布丁”。

它很可爱，圆乎乎的脑袋白白的，远看，真像一个大雪球，脑袋上耷拉着两只卷卷的耳朵，珍珠般的黑眼睛水汪汪的，小巧的鼻子乌黑发亮，一张人字形的嘴巴里有一条粉嘟嘟的舌头，很可爱，皮毛是棕白相间的，像系着花围巾又卷又漂亮，尾巴好像一把扫帚经常扫来扫去，十分活泼可爱。

它每次饿的时候总是汪汪叫，好像在告诉我：“我饿了，想吃肉骨头！”于是，我就去厨房拿来一根肉骨头，放放在它的碗里，它吃的时候不停地摇摆着头和尾巴，很可爱。有一次，它在吃肉骨头的时候，突然飞快地跑出家门，我大喊道：“快回来啊！奶茶布丁。”它居然不听我的话，还朝门口大吼几声，我便去看看到底出了什么事儿了。原来，是一条比奶茶布丁高一倍的大黄狗，正和奶茶布丁对视着，奶茶布丁对大黄狗大吼几声，大黄狗似乎害怕了，我心里暗叫：“加油！加油！”奶茶布丁好像能听见我的心声，凶狠地朝大黄狗狂奔而去，那只大黄狗吓得仓皇而逃。没想到奶茶布丁还挺有看门的责任心呢！

每个人都有自己喜欢的动物，有人喜欢猫，有人喜欢狗……而我却最喜欢小乌龟。

我家养的小乌龟刚买回来的时候，只有手掌心那么大，背上穿着绿色的“盔甲”。“盔甲”中间高，两边低，像个小山包，上面有许许多多的六角形，每个六角形的内部，都有一个个更小的六角形，每一岁长一圈，就像树的年轮一样。小乌龟的小脑袋是三角形的，两只眼睛就像两颗小绿豆似的，难怪有句老话叫：“王八瞅绿豆——对眼了。”虽然它的四肢短小，在陆地上爬起来慢如蜗牛，但是在水中动如脱兔，却是一个实实在在的游泳健将，速度简直可以与箭鱼媲美。

小乌龟是个“胆小鬼”。记得刚买回来时，我把一条2厘米长的肉丝放在它面前。老半天，它才将那小脑袋小心翼翼地一点一点地往外探，东张西望，那胆小如鼠、贪生怕死的样子实在好笑。过了一会儿它好像觉得没有危险了，才慢慢地向肉爬去。当爬到肉前时，以迅雷不及掩耳之势伸出脖子一口把肉咬到嘴里，眨眼功夫就把肉丝吃进肚里，然后慌忙将头和四肢缩回“盔甲”里。小乌龟直到现在也是一听动静，就立即把头、腿和尾巴缩到龟壳里，真是一只十足的“缩头乌龟”！

小乌龟是个“美食家”。别看它小，它的嘴巴可是很挑剔的。吃肉时只吃瘦肉。如果肉丝上有肥的，它就用嘴巴咬住肉丝，用它一个前爪拼命地扒，不一会儿功夫，水面上便浮起了几条肥肉丝。吃鱼时只吃新鲜的小鱼小虾，对于烂鱼烂虾是一概不闻不问。

小乌龟还是个“机灵鬼”。有一次我逗乌龟玩，把乌龟倒过来放在地上，四脚朝天。这下它可急了，把头缩在壳里，像是在想办法。不一会，它先是头伸出来悄悄看一下周围的环境，然后靠在地上，再把一侧的前腿和后爪伸出来也同样靠在地上，头撑住地，两只脚用力地往地上一蹬，一骨碌就翻了过去。

你喜欢我家的小乌龟吗？但是我可不会给你，因为我太喜欢它了。

它毛茸茸的，有一个三角形的头，一双黑葡萄似的眼睛镶嵌在脸上，鼻子是个倒三角，大大的嘴，耳朵耷拉在脸上，身子细长，尾巴大大的，长长的，毛茸茸的，给人一种想钻进去的感觉。怎么，看完了你有没有想拿一个抱回家呢？它就叫狐獴。

狐獴的萌态，也真的是“萌”的不要不要的呢！阳光下的狐獴，全身金黄，你瞧，它站立着，大大的眼睛，尖尖的嘴，还保持着微笑，两只小“手”放在胸前，看它那表情，好像是对摄像很感兴趣呢！

这个小东西，一定萌化了你的心吧！呵呵，但狐獴可是食肉动物喔，你肯定会说，食肉动物又怎样，还是很萌啊！这你可就不知道了，那就让我们看看下面一段吧！

抓猎时，狐獴就像变了一个人似的，你瞧，它把身子压低，匍匐前进，眼睛眯成一条缝，张开血盘大口，露出满嘴的獠牙，夹起尾巴，边走还边低吼，盯准猎物，奋起一跳，扑到猎物身上，但这一扑，不但没扑到，还狼狈地摔倒了。

看吧，这小家伙一到捕猎时，就凶相毕露，简直就是个披着羊皮的狼，你肯定好奇，然后呢，狐獴怎样了呢？别着急，别着急，往下看呢！

这只狐獴看起来狼狈极了，它又重新站了起来，抖了抖沾着泥土的毛，露出獠牙，牙上下直打颤，它生气极了，抓耳挠腮，看样子是为自己没有抓到猎而懊恼呢！生气归生气，这只狐獴没有气馁，却装作什么都没发生的样子，摇头摆尾地踏着大步回家去了。

狐獴萌态十足，但也凶态十足，真像是个“双面狐”。

我家有两只小狗，是我最喜欢的小动物。它们是是爸爸的朋友送给我的。我爱喝可乐，所以我给它们取的爱称叫“可可”和“乐乐”。它们是贵宾犬，全身棕色的卷毛没有一点杂色，乌黑光亮的小鼻子配上水汪汪的眼睛，还有那粉红色的小舌头，吃起东西来一舔一舔的，那样子，别提有多可爱了！

可可和乐乐玩耍的样子很可爱，它们俩最喜欢趁我们不在时，跳到沙发上蹦来蹦去。有一天，正好被爸爸看见了它们在沙发上，爸爸大喊了一声，两只小狗马上很识趣的跳下沙发，乖乖的卷缩在客厅角落里，用可怜兮兮的眼神向爸爸求饶，好像在说：“我下次不敢了，原谅我吧！”爸爸训斥了它们俩一顿，就把它们放回了各自的笼里。可可是母狗，所以她的笼子是粉色的。乐乐是公狗，所以他的笼子是蓝色的。虽然是“狗窝”，但是它们很干净。

可可喜欢睡懒觉，乐乐却是个“夜猫子”，尽管很晚了，但只要稍微听到什么或看到什么，乐乐就会发出“警报”，做好战斗准备。可可还有一个贪吃的毛病，每天晚上我给它俩吃晚餐时，可可先吃完自己的，然后马上去抢乐乐的。被抢了几次后，乐乐变机灵了，它学会了关上狗笼保护食物，只见它先用前掌按住铁笼的钩子，往上一提后它的笼子就关上了，这样可可只好眼睁睁的看着乐乐在里面把狗粮吃完。

可可和乐乐为我们家带来了很多欢乐，陪伴我走过幸福的童年。

我家里有只可爱的小狗，它是在我很小的时候姐姐从亲戚家抱回来的，姐姐给它起了个名字叫嘟嘟。嘟嘟长了一身黄白色的皮毛，长了个大脑袋，两只大耳朵，还有一双亮晶晶的眼镜，像一颗宝石。它长着长长的嘴巴，还有那又细又长的尾巴在不停的摇来摇去。

嘟嘟特别聪明，每星期五我回家的时候它总是对我叫个不停，好像在说“欢迎你回来。”如果有陌生人来的时候，它就会叫个不停。妈妈总是说只要嘟嘟在就不怕有坏人到我们家。

嘟嘟的胃口很好，我每次拿着骨头去的时候，它总是汪汪叫个不停，好像在说“我要吃。”吃饭的时候，我也喜欢把我喜欢的食物分给嘟嘟一点。它没有不吃的东西，只要是剩下的饭菜它都吃。所以说嘟嘟才是我们家最爱惜粮食的一位。

一：贪睡。在它们冬眠时，那样子真是太可爱了！它们像两只熟睡的小熊，什么东西也不吃，就算你拿出大鼓，使劲敲也叫不醒它们，它们可真贪睡啊！

二：贪吃。在它们过了冬眠之后，可就变成了两只贪吃的“小猪”。看！有时，我会喂些小虾给它们吃，它们狼吞虎咽，有时一只小乌龟会用脚踢跟它抢食的同伴，似乎在说：“别跟我抢东西吃！”可真霸道！

三：贪玩。贪玩是小朋友的特点，当然也是小乌龟的特点。小乌龟们包餐一顿，就进入了游戏环节。第一个游戏叫叠罗汉。它们中的一只乌龟爬上了另一只的背上，就这样，这个游戏它们每天会玩5~10次。第二个游戏叫爬玻璃缸。它们虽然知道自己爬不出玻璃缸，可它们每天还是爬呀爬，似乎充满了爬出去的希望。最好玩的要算带它们散步。它们东看看西瞅瞅，对外面的世界充满了好奇。有一次，我把它们放到浴池里，过了几分钟，我去看它们，发现少了一只乌龟，我找来找去，终于在洗衣机吸满找到了它，它可真调皮啊！

上个星期天，我到奶奶家去玩，一进门，就看到一群小鸡挤在门前。“快关门!”奶奶大声说。我急忙进门，来了一个一百八十度大转身，并且快速的关上门。我不禁叹了口气，因为我在转身时，差一点就踩死了一只小鸡。

奶奶说：“去年那只老母鸡下了几个蛋，后来那几个蛋就孵出了几只小鸡。”

小鸡有圆圆的脑袋，尖尖的嘴巴，一对圆溜溜的小眼睛。它们穿着各自的“衣服”，有金黄色的、白色的、黑色的，像是时装表演。

到了晚上大约七点钟，爷爷、奶奶想把小鸡装到箱子里，这是哥哥刚从外面打篮球回来，他一听到我们说话的声音就像风似的跑过来，大声说：“我来把它们放进去吧!”我说：“我也去。”

我们首先抓小点的，一开始还很顺利，可是，最后两只小鸡躲到灰色的打鸡堆里去了。哥哥试图把灰鸡抓起来，不料，被狠狠地啄了一下。经过我和哥哥的齐心协力，终于把小鸡全放到了箱子里。

小鸡不好惹，不过也很可爱。我喜欢它们。

Dolphins are very friendly and peaceful. They never attack people. Instead, they have saved many people in danger in the past years. How helpful the dolphins are!

Dolphins are very clever. People often train them so that they can give a dolphin show which brings people a lot of happiness and joy.

Unluckily, the number of dolphins is getting smaller and smaller. Because of water pollution, there is less and less space for dolphins. Many people make money by hunting dolphins. If we don’t protect them, maybe we’ll lose our good friends one day. As a student, I hope more and more people should take actions to protect dolphins.

My favourite animal

My favourite animal is tortoise. Tortoise walk not fast. But I like the tortoise. Why? Because, tortoise is a cute animal. It have a short tail and a four short foot. It have a little head and a hard shell. They are forty-five little and cute tortoise in My home. They like to play in the water. When they afraid some thing. They wall run fast. They like to eat the fish. I often buy some small fish to them to eat. They can catch the fish fast. First, they fake(假) sleep. When the fish swim near they mouth. They catch the fish fast and bit the fish head. So, the fish die. They can eat the fish. In winter. They like to sleep in the sand. When they sleep, they don’t eat any food.Because they wall hibernation. But, when they are thirsty. They come out of the sand. So, we must give water to them to drink.

I love the tortoise. I hate the eagle. Because, the eagle often eat the tortoise with it sharp mouth.My favourite animal is tortoise.

My favourite animal is a dog.I had a dog when I was ten years old.Its name is Lily.Its a brown and white dog.It does everything with me.Everyday I give it some water to drink and some food to eat.At the weekend,Ill make it take a bath.At that time,the dog is very gentle.And I like it very much.This is my favorite animal----a beautiful,gentle and lovely dog.

“猫”这个名字我每听到就很激动，很高兴。因为我很喜欢猫，从小到大一直都很喜欢。

我们家以前养猫，我们家里每一个人都喜欢猫。家里有一只小猫叫“小平”，小平是它的缩写，叫它“平平”或者“平安”都可以，这是我给它起的名字，起这个名字，就是希望它每天每秒都平平安安，开开心心地生活。

我们养的第一只猫是灰白色的，很可爱，眼睛圆圆地，嘴又红又小，很可爱。她很喜欢玩类似圆球的东西。我们每次叫它的名字，它无论在哪里都很快地回到我们身边。

以前我每天都带着它玩，给它吃的，每天早上去学校的时候，可爱的它一直看着我，跟随着我一起走到家的大门口，然后我抱着它一边摸着它的头一边说：“小平，你不要乱跑乱玩，在家里乖乖地玩，和家里人呆着，我回来跟你玩！”我说完话，它好像听懂我的话一样，对着我看一会儿，就“喵”地一声乖乖回去，看着它走进大门之后我才走，因为我怕它跟着我走，或者去别的地方遇到坏人或危险。每次我回来它都是第一个出来见我。我给它喂吃的，也和它玩，为了它，我也每天都这样开开心心的。

它生气时，把眼睛瞪得大大的，耳朵耷拉着，很好笑。它高兴的时候，会跳起来。每次它捉到老鼠时，它会把老鼠弄死玩一会儿才吃。它玩老鼠的样子太有趣了。

我们家里人都很喜欢它，它是我们的小侣，我们家的一个成员，它一会儿不见，我们就一遍一遍地叫它：“小平！平平！你在哪里？快过来！小平！……”我也很习惯这样的生活，它就在我们家，我们都很开心，很安心。

以前我是这样喜欢我的猫，可现在没有了，我的妹妹们和家里人在照顾它，我走的时候和它最后一次见面时，它舍不得我似的，一直跟着我不肯离开。我当然舍不得我的小可爱——“小平”呀！可是没有办法，我把它交给家人走了，我永远爱我的猫“小平”。
