For over a year， Flash had been tied to a tree in front of someone‘s house. “He was sick and malnourished，” says Allen. “More than once I saw [the owner] kick him for no reason at all.” Allen had repeatedly tried to get the owner to take better care of the animal， or to give it away to someone who would. Finally， he took matters into his own hands – in the dead of night， he took Flash off his chain and drove away with him.

Within an hour， Flash had a new license tag and was being treated by a veterinarian who knew better than to ask questions. Pictures of the dog were put up on animal rescue websites， asking for someone to adopt the dog. A couple in New York offered to take the dog， and animal lovers in states along the way agreed to provide transportation.

Nobody can say for sure how many animals like Flash are ‘rescued‘ every year – receiving stolen property is a crime， so rescuers tend to stay in the shadows. But a growing number of empty collars attests to their work as more and more animals find their way to loving homes.

历史以来，我县是一个野生动物资源比较丰富的地区。由于错误观念的误导，人们保护野生动物的意识不强。非法捕猎、贩卖、食用野生动物的现象时有发生，这些现象的存在严重损害了资溪的文明形象，与当今世界倡导的绿色消费、文明生活的主流格格不入。党的十八大提出：在建设中国特色社会主义的宏伟事业中，要加强生态文明建设，我们要贯彻落实好党的十八大精神，提高全县人民野生动物保护意识，为建设生态、文明、幸福资溪作出积极贡献。为此，我们郑重的向全县人民发出倡议：

从现在起，在全县范围内发起保护拒吃野生动物的全民行动，并长期坚持下去!

坚决反对落后、野蛮、残酷的消费陋习，提倡健康、环保、文明的生活消费方式!

坚决不捕杀野生保护动物!

坚决不参与非法买卖野生保护动物!

When it comes to the environment, most people believe that now is in the shake head to sigh: water pollution, dust storm raids, white garbage everywhere... However, more and more people just sigh, but no action. Only when the sky is no longer clear our heads, remembered that should protect our environment? When we were at the foot of the land into desert, just regret not cherish the nature? I want to say, no, we can all start from to protect our school environment, from the small start bit by bit.

Go to school that day, I and several classmates said and laughed to sit into the corridor, see at a distance a cordial and familiar figure, when we miss zhao. Suddenly, she paused, with his head down as if found any. All of a sudden, she crouched down... Strange, she do? Is to tie his shoes? Or a sprained foot? We havent stepped forward, but she from his pocket a piece of facial tissue, hand a pinch, picked a piece of chewing gum on the ground up, wrapped up, and then threw it into the dustbin. She turned around and saw us strange eyes, smiled and said: "not surprisingly, dont say the whole school, even if lets class, if a person a piece of gum, we will be glued here. If everyone take good care of our environment, we can live in comfort."

Miss zhao said good, do better. I think I did pretty good also. For example, our class classroom environment, there are flower, grass, helped my contribution! Since as health group leader, I work hard, meticulous work. If I was in this respect "xiao-he only expenses furore," then I class "plant corner" career for me, but made great contributions

My favourite animal is the giant panda. The giant panda or panda is a bear living in central western and south western China. Most pandas live in Sichuan province. Pandas are adorable because of their distinctive black patches around eyes, ears and across its round body. Pandas are China’s national treasures. They’re among the world’s most adored and protected animals. Pandas are the star attractions in the Beijing Zoo. Experts say that despite their sweet public image, pandas are capable of attacking humans, especially if they feel threatened.

Protect our environment

In the last several decades, our earth has been extremely polluted, such as air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution and so on. In recent years, the extreme weather becomes more and more frequent. Winter gets colder and summer becomes hotter and it rains more frequently. All of these warn us that protecting the environment is a serious and emergent event. As our general people, we should build proper lifestyle. We should pay attention to water and light saving. When we go out, we should firstly choose the public transportation. The most important is that we must realize that we can do a lot of things to protect our environment. Its our duty to make our home better. Let’s change from ourselves.

看着变得越来越少的动物，濒临灭绝的动物越来越多，我们是不是应该开始保护动物，从我们身边的小事做起。

看了科普书《森林报》(春)后，我对大自然有了些认识，它让我爱上了蹦蹦跳跳的小白兔，喜欢上了警觉的松鸡，迷上了好斗的琴鸡，但我印象最深刻的是里面的小篇章——《打猎》。

它主要讲述了猎人们怎样打猎。如果猎人要打勾嘴鹬的话，会选择在黄昏时打他们，并会先打雌的(前提是一对勾嘴鹬夫妇)。这样雄的勾嘴鹬就会为找不到自己的妻子而发愁，这时，猎人就扔起自己的黑帽子。雄勾嘴鹬以为那是自己的妻子，于是就俯冲下来，这时，猎人再开枪把勾嘴鹬打死。

猎人们打野鸭也有自己的一套方法。他们先把捕捉到的野鸭训练成“叛徒”，然后把那只野鸭带到河面上，野鸭就会大声地叫，它的叫声吸引了众多野鸭，猎人就一枪一枪地把他们打死。

看完后，我觉得猎人们非常残忍。可转念一想，他们是为了生存而不得已这样做的。既然这样，还是从我们做起，开始保护动物吧。

现在，首先，我们尽量少吃那些用动物做成的菜啊，汤啊等等，否则就等于在杀害那些小生命。就拿鸭子来说吧，我大约算了一下，全中国最少也有几千个烤鸭店，而每天至少要卖出几十只烤鸭，这样每天就会死几万只鸭子，每年就会更多了，更何况这仅仅是中国的数子啊，要是全世界的数目就会更可怕的。其次，我们尽量不要捕捉小鸟，这样，它们可能会受惊，再加上没有朋友的陪伴，它们可能会闭上眼睛的。难道你忍心看着一只只快乐的小鸟就这样悲惨地死去吗?

让我们从自己做起，从小事做起，保护动物，保护我们的家园。
