there were traffic jams almost everywhere, people waited in long queues at bus-stops:and taxi-stands? looking entirely exhausted.tempers flared when people gotpushed or if someone else cut the queue.impatient drivers honked at each other every now and then.

the railway station was congested with travelers who rushed to the platform like a swarm of bees and then squeezed their way into the train for seats as if there would be no tomorrow.

in the restaurants, tables were shared. a platoon of waiters filed out from the kitchen armed with various containers of eatables. orders were taken feverishly and then shouted across to the kitchen. excitement reigned everywhere as waiters ran hither and thither to fill the orders.

the above are just some vivid scenes that happened a few months ago. everywhere was chaos and chaos everywhere. i am really afraid the drama will soon be repeated.

I have heard a beautiful poetry, written by a novelist, Amy Cheung. With a

little adjustment, it can vividly depict the alienation among people in reality

- "The further distance in the world is not between life and death. But when I

stand in front of you, your eyes turn to your smartphone; don’t know that I love

you."

The smartphone has been gaining a great popularity, becoming a toxic

compulsion. It has invaded our lives and occupied all our interstitial time. It

is so commonly seen that the smartphone addicts attend to their phone, ignoring

everything. Even meeting with friends, they often pull out the phone in order to

take a photo, check a message or even play with a game. Seeming connected with

the whole world, they have actually fiddled the conversation and done harm to

the relationship.

It is high time that we threw away the phone and raised our heads up. Do

I am at present a student at Mary High School, Hong Kong, where I have been

studying for the past five years. I passed the Hong Kong Certificate of

Education Examination last year with distinctions in English and History, and

credits in Economics and English Literature. My advanced-level subjects are

在未成年人保护中，家庭保护、学校保护、社会保护、网络保护和司法保护一个也不能少。

家庭保护是基础，家长是未成年人保护的第一责任人，如果家长真正负起监护教育责任，就可能避免孩子在家里受到伤害或者在外违法犯罪。学校保护很关键，担负着塑造祖国未来的巨大责任，如果学校切实加强校园安全管理，既注重培智，又强化育德，就可能预防那些校园性侵、校园欺凌案件。社会保护是支撑，如果社会各方面都树立强烈的未成年人保护理念，严格执行、遵守未成年人保护法律法规，就可能不会发生那些向未成年人销售烟酒甚至有毒有害食品，向未成年人传播不良有害信息等违法犯罪案件。

司法保护是保障，是未成年人健康成长的最后一道防线，只有同家庭保护、学校保护、社会和司法保护共同发力，才能更好地保护我们的孩子。检察机关一直注重加强与各方力量的沟通配合，在强化司法办案的同时，努力推动未成年人保护和犯罪预防机制建设。《守护明天》里谈到的“一号检察建议”、侵害未成年人案件强制报告制度、依法剥夺监护权制度、未成年人公益诉讼检察、事实孤儿救助、亲职教育等工作，就是近年来检察机关会同相关方面共同作出的探索和努力。

新时代以党中央对未成年人保护工作提出了新的更高的要求。刚刚结束的十三届全国人大常委会第十四次会议审议了未成年人保护法和预防未成年人犯罪法修订草案，这两部法律的修改，为未成年人保护制度建设、法治落实将提供重要支撑。希望各方切实负起责任来，把未成年人保护法律规定宣传到位、落实到位，共同守护我们的孩子、我们的明天。

To tell you the truth, Fathers Day has been in my heart for many years. In

the past, I only knew about Childrens Day, and I didnt even know when Fathers

Day was coming. But this year, I suddenly wanted to celebrate this festival for

my father, so I secretly decided to give it to my father. A happy Fathers

Day.

After eleven oclock, I quietly got up and stared at the alarm clock,

waiting for twelve oclock. At twelve oclock, I rushed into Dads room and

pushed Dad. Dad turned around with difficulty, and before he could ask, I said

to him, "Dad, its May 19—Fathers Day, Dad, Happy Fathers Day!" He just smiled

人的一生到底有多少天呢？指不定某天你就被死神夺去了宝贵的生命，所以，每个人的任务就是开开心心的过好每一天，把所有烦恼留给明天。

可烦恼却并不是挥之即去的，有时你的烦恼却是如何也赶不走的。在学校度过的光阴却是烦的，超多的作业，老师施加的压力，同学异样的眼光都像一块沉甸甸的大石压在我们胸口，让我怎样都无法喘过气来。虽说有“酸、甜、苦、辣”哪才算是人生，校园生活也是如此，可每当这个念头占据我的心房时，巨大的压力又把这个念头给击败了。现在面临着毕业，我又何曾不是无比的留念呢？

虽说学校压力大，可它也拥有着我童年时美好的回忆，可家就不一样了，每天都要面临着父母的唠叨。

每当放学时，我认为回到家终于可以好好休息了，可每当我写完作业时，母亲又给我出一些别的题目做，虽说我知道她是为了我好，可我心里却无比的暗淡，有时候我会想，我读书到底是为了谁呀！每当我与她争吵时她都以“你要好好读书呀，这样才能成材，”这句话回答我，而我却只能一笑而过。

现在想想读书到底是为了谁，我才知道，不是为了父母，也不是为了自己，而是为了有更好的实力来实现自己的梦想，如果没有文化，当梦想站在你面前时，你就不会去追求，只能呆呆的站在原地，所以，没有了知识，你就一无所有！

时光如流水，一转眼，六年的时光匆匆流逝，跨出校门，我们会有怎样的感慨？

回忆起小学生活中那不可抹灭的往事，心中又多了几份不舍与留恋。六年的时光，把我们之间的距离推进了，友谊也已深根蒂固。这一次的分别，我们就要说再见……

珍惜今天我们在小学阶段里的最后一天的时光。明天，我们即将毕业，我们就要分别，从此，课堂上的座位被重新编排。没有了课堂上我们的欢笑，课间不能再做那些对于初中生来说的“无聊”、“幼稚”的游戏。那样，初中生活就没有了色彩。那时候，小学生那样值得回忆，那样令人向往……

明天，不可能再把今日变为现实是，因为，它已经成为了历史。在这个最后一天里，我们第一次领略、感受到了“离别”这个词的含义，理解到它的内涵又有怎样的感情色彩。

将来，当我们回忆起那一次的风波，当我们回忆起最后一个“六一”里我们唱的“最后一个夏天”，心里会不会别有番滋味？小学生活是我们的童年，过了，童年就已过去，就与它远离……

在甜美的梦中，第二天，我们即将分离，却是不知不觉。过了今天，小学的生活不会再重现了。我们虽然分离，友谊却是天长地久。相信，小学生活是我们最美好的记忆。

童年的脚印留在校园的小路上，笑语欢歌留在花坛的芳香中……母校的每个角落，都珍藏着我们的友情，播种着我们的梦想。我们彼此把友谊的种子播进心田，在朝夕相处中，我们一道成长！

再过几天我们就要迈进五月，同学们，你们知道5月1日是什么日子吗?对，国际劳动节!下面我首先为大家介绍一下“五一”国际劳动节的来历。“五一”国际劳动节起源于美国。1886年5月1日，美国工人举行大罢工，要求改善劳动条件，实行每天八小时工作制。工人们团结战斗，夺得了罢工的胜利。人们为了纪念这次胜利，就把这一天定为国际劳动节。现在，每年的“五一”劳动节，成为大家赞美劳动者、歌颂劳动者的节日。

我的家乡是一个青山绿水的小山村，还有一个具有传奇色彩的名字——白龙潭。我爱家乡，更爱家乡勤劳的人民！

我的家乡虽然没有大城市的繁华，也没有花园城市那么漂亮，但它养育了我，我深深地爱着我的家乡。

我的家乡这些年发生了翻天覆地的变化。以前低矮的房屋不见了，一栋栋漂亮的小洋楼拔地而起；以前路旁的垃圾不见了，一丛丛鲜艳的花儿绽开了笑脸；以前泥泞的路不见了，一条条宽阔的公路纵横交错……这些所有的变化都是家乡人民勤劳智慧的结晶。

我是一个调皮的孩子，经常缠着爷爷讲过去的故事，爷爷常说：“你们比起我们以前可就幸福多喽！”可不是吗？以前村子里多数人家住的是土房子，极少数人住的是草房。家里像样的家具寥寥无几。全村人只有一台17吋的黑白电视机，老老小小挤在一起看，而如今家家户户都买了大彩电，可以坐在家里看，想看什么就看什么，真是舒服极了！现在家家户户盖起了新房，家里样样家具都有，过上了小康生活。告诉你一个好消息：数字电视村村通，通到我们村了。我们足不出户也可以了解世界了，这不正是农村生活水平提高的具体体现吗。更让人高兴的是，近几年来，政府特别重视农村经济建设，大力发展畜牧业。我家养了20多头猪，今年的生猪价格比往年高。每次卖猪看到爸爸妈妈喜滋滋的样子，我就想：太好了，我又可以买好吃好玩的了……

My mother has a pair of keen eyes which can speak.With her eyes,she observed my mood,gave me courage and made me strong.Therefore,I could face difficulties.

When I was a baby learning to walk,my mother always lent me a hand and encouraged me to get up while I fell down.

As I finally threw myself into her arms,her eyes smiled with praise.Later as I grew up,I met with more difficulties.But whenever I was frustrated,my mothers eyes always gave me hope and encouragement.Once I failed in exams,my mother encouraged me to find out the reasons.

Instead of blaming me she pushed me to do better.At last I overcame the difficulty.Now I have grown up and become more independent,but whenever I come across setbacks,my mothers eyes are always with me encouraging me wherever I go.
