Everything from the beginning of the trip, I go out less as far as possible to get a taxi, short distance of walking, long distance sit bus. I found that, after a period of time, I will save money, and exercise the body, is the best of both worlds.

Then, we should start from the water. I try to use the laundry water to clean the toilet, mop the floor... Every time to drink water, I will pick up as much as they remember to drink water, not pick up more, save water resources. Slowly, I found that mop and clean, even I can do.

In the end, is the power saving. Brightly lit at night, our family, each room the lights are on, sometimes, no one in front of the TV, TV is still open, waste a lot of electricity. I told mom and dad, the door after you leave the room. Dont watch TV, remember to turn off the television, and less use the computer. In the daytime, can not turn on the light, dont turn on the light. Our family all do that, I believe that our electricity will be a lot less. 低碳”这个词已经成为21世纪的代名词，低碳也是因为现在的人们终于认识到保护环境的重要性，才创造出的这个词。所以我决定，在以后的生活中，我也要处处“低碳”，保护我们生存的家园。

一切从出行开始，我出门尽量少坐出租车，距离短的就步行，距离长的就坐公交车。我发现，一段时间后，我既节省了路费，又锻炼了身体，真可谓两全其美。

接着，就要从节水做起了。我尽量用洗衣水来清洁马桶、拖地……每次喝水，我会记着要喝多少就接多少水，绝不多接，节约饮用水资源。慢慢的，我发现，地拖得越来越干净，连我都能照的出来了。

最后，就是节电了。一到晚上，我们家就灯火通明，每个房间的灯都开着，有时，电视机前没有人，电视依旧开着，浪费了不少电。我告诉爸爸妈妈，离开房间后要随手关灯。不看电视时，记得将电视关闭，并且少用电脑。在白天，能不开灯，就不要开灯。我们一家人都那么做，我相信，我们家的电费一定会少不少的。两个月后，妈妈再去交电费时，发现少了好几度电呢!

我从网上了解到：在北京，人们为了让汽车少排出尾气，有了单双号汽车在不同日期行驶。制订了无车日，也是希望大家可以低碳生活，保护我们赖以生存的家园!

What I expect for city life is not just about drink bars, shopping mall, entertainment center etc, although they are indeed better than the facility in the rural areas. What I expect for city life is a clearer environment, not only in the surroundings but also in peoples spirit. I hope the people around me are all good mannered with politeness and courtesy, there is no quarrel, no battle, people treat each other with respect. In my understanding, if we refer to an ideal University life as a formal western dinner, then a high GPA, that is, Grade Point Average, should be the main course, while an active part in activities, together with associations, means the appetizer. Some romances, of course, play the role as desserts. They are the 3 key elements for an ideal University life.

Those, however, are not what University life is all about. As we all know, University is wildly different from middle school. It connects not only adolescence to adulthood, but also the ivory tower to the real society. Therefore, the ideal University life is that I become matured both physically and mentally, and that I obtain qualified academic knowledge and get well prepared for society at the same time.

To conclude my speech, I wanna say, some positive experiences are surely part of the ideal University life. But, I should not forget about the negative sides. They are not less necessary.

When I was in college, I studied very hard. As a major of English, I often practiced my oral English. Every time, I could think in English.
