我国的森林资源已经非常宝贵了，森林资源非常紧缺。建国初期我国拥有112亿立方米原木，因为人口增加了，毁灭森林，改造农田而砍伐了100亿立方米树木。(中国煤炭剩余900亿吨，可供开采不到一百年。中国石油剩余储量23亿吨，可开采14年)中国土地面积960万平方公里，约占世界总量的%7。人口13亿，约占世界的%22。而森林面积仅占世界的%4.6。林木蓄积量不足世界总量的%3。人均森林面积128立方米只有世界水平的1/5，排世界的121位。人均森林蓄积量9.048立方米，只有世界平均水平的1/8，排世界第134位。年人均消耗木材0.22立方米，比我国高近三倍多，差距十分明显。

由于多种原因土地沙漠化、水灾、旱灾等生态问题十分严重，生态建设任重道远。目前我国荒漠化土地367万平方公里，占全国土地的38.2，而且还以每年3436平方公里在不断扩展，总我国体上仍在恶化，我国水土流失面积276万平方公里，占全国土地的27.8，每年还在以100万公顷的面积增加。

听了我的介绍，大家一定觉得和恐怖吧!但是只要保护森林，就可以拯救大自然了。

[英语作文如何保护环境

在人类的词典里，“十年树木，百年树人”。而我才刚满100岁生日，也在不久前才幻化成人形。爷爷说，我还太小，不能保护我们的森林王国，但总有一天我会变得强大，像世世代代的族人们那样互相连接着对方的手，用枝干撑起蓝色的苍穹。他还说我们生活的这片森林凝聚了大自然的力量，早先，我们伟大的祖先们也是受到了这种天然力量的庇佑，才在各种恶劣的环境中生存下来，生息繁衍……

我还记得在我很小的时候，只有在月圆的夜晚来临时，才能在林子四周活动。我不像其他的孩子那样乖巧，就如同我出生时升起的启明星，直到太阳的光芒破碎纷扬的洒下，才倔强的散去一般张狂，不愿服输。我俯下身欣赏水中月亮的倒影，固执得认为这要比实景唯美得多，真实得多。就算浮云拢住了月光，我也不愿回去，我会自言自语，嘲笑一切我讨厌的东西，直到月燎找到我，把我背回树屋。月燎是我的哥哥，除了他，我甚至不愿和别人多说一句话。他常常跟我说，他会成为这里最伟大的树人。而我，则会高兴的点点头，说：“哥，你会的。”然后他突然忧伤地笑了：“如果哪一天我突然离开，月璃，我希望你和爷爷都不要难过。”

我没想到，这一天竟然来得这么快。那天，苍白的阳光下，不，是惨白的阳光。森林外面突然闯进了两个不速之客——人类，他们对我的族人们指指点点，最终停在了还是树形的月燎面前。“不错，这棵树的造型正是我需要的。”他们反复嘀咕着这样一句话。忽然，其中一个人手中闪过一道光，晃眼至极。轰的一声，月燎倒下了。我仿佛看到了他痛苦而扭曲的面孔，难受极了。

之后，我大病了一场。那段时间里突然少了好多族人。爷爷告诉我，他们都被那两个人类“带”走了。我仿佛看到这场灾难的尽头，飞舞的风尘，袭平了大地。

再后来，这里被另一批人类称为了湿地。他们说：“很好，很好。”然后他们就再也没来过。但是后来这里被人类保护了起来，他们竟然保护了这座森林王国。

现在，这里再也没有人带走任何一棵树，因为他们终于被唤醒了!

首先，应该告诉市民，要关注每一件环保的事，积极做环保工作，不要随手扔垃圾、看到垃圾要及时捡起。其次，要把废旧电池该扔哪的问题解决好，应该把这件事给做得更完善：在一些地方分放一些回收废旧电池的筒，每天都有专门负责的人去取。这样一来，不管是住在偏远地区，还是住在热闹的地方，都可以很方便的把废旧电池处理了，再也不会发生人们不知道废旧电池怎么处理，就把废旧电池扔进垃圾箱里的事了。最后，政府应该增加一个环保工作者的职务，让更多的人投身于环保工作当中!
