亲爱的同学们：

大家好!今天我提笔写这一份建议书，是想针对保护地球，珍惜资源的问题，来向大家提一些建议。

众所周知，现在在我们身边，浪费资源的例子有很多：水龙头的水哗哗地流着，用水人却不知去向;电视机卖力地播放节目，房间里却空无一人;厚厚的本子被随手扔进垃圾桶，仔细看发现只是用了几面而已;富丽堂皇的饭店里，桌子上的“剩饭剩菜”竟然多数是只夹了一两筷子的美味佳肴。

因此，我诚恳地向大家提出以下建议：

一、洗手完要关紧水龙头。现在我们地球虽然有70%是水了，但可饮用的淡水很少，大多都是不可饮用的咸海水。

二、电视机不看了要关掉。电力资源也是有限的。想一想未来要是没有电了，那该有多可怕呀!

三、本子用过后如果还有剩余，可以用来当练习本，如果没有剩余，背面还能当草稿纸。纸是树做的，要用树就要砍树，砍树就会造成土地沙漠化。要避免土地沙漠化的方法就是少砍树，多植树。

四、饭店吃饭，吃不完的可以打包，别以为这样没面子，现在难道不是都在支持光盘行动吗?要知道餐桌上的饭菜来之不易呀!

以上是我提出的建议，也许还不够成熟，但是希望大家能参考一下。当然，我这微小建议如果大家能认真对待，每个人出一份力，那么，我们地球母亲的环境将变得更美好!

网上相关新闻报道：从6月26日开始，我国自北向南出现了今年入汛以来最强的大范围高强度的一次降雨过程。湖南、贵州、江西、广西、广东、浙江、福建、上海等12个省(区、市)不同程度发生洪涝灾害。全国农作物洪涝受灾面积566千公顷，成灾243千公顷，受灾人口912万人，因灾死亡93人、失踪43人，倒塌房屋4万间(不含地震倒房)，直接经济损失约50亿元。

洪灾造成的原因无外乎以下几种：全球气候反常、当地植被破坏严重、城镇座落地势低、当地防洪设施达不到防洪标准。

就在头个星期双休日，我们在周边植被保存完好的山区水库垂钓时，有一个现象使我思考了许久。星期五下午出门时，天气预报要下雨，但由于钓鱼兴趣正浓，到了水库后就干脆搭起帐蓬呆下来。星期六从早上开始，从小雨到大雨，大雨到中雨。到晚上，睡在帐蓬，有些不放心，半夜起来，察看水情，居然水面变化不大。直至星期日下午回来时，雨还在继续下，但水情依然变化不大。于是，我就思索，雨整整下两天，水库也不见混沌，若在其他地方可不是这样，混水早来了。是什么力量能有做到这一点?最后，钓友们得出一个结论：过去半月天气干燥，本来该水库平时不蓄水，更重要的是，这里植被好，两天的雨水被完好的植被吸走了部分，森林将雨水涵养起来了。

过去几年，由于天然林大量砍伐，长江中下游洪水泛滥。三峡电站建设之后，国家对中、上游及其流域的森林砍伐进行了禁伐，并在中、西部地区实行了退耕还林，几年下来，洪水造成的危害已逐步降低，滑坡、塌方、泥石流等次生灾害已没有过去那么严重。现在多数大小河流，下雨天，泥沙少了，水变清了。

谈起森林植被，又想起2005年云南西双版纳的一行，一路过去，除野象谷的植被保存较为完好，沿途看到山林也有被乱砍伐的现象，所到之处，不时看到滑坡，河里的水也是混沌的。其实，洪水灾害除气候等因素外，更主要的是由于人们对周边环境的破坏，森林被肆意砍伐所致。在我印象中，云南应该是森林王国，世外桃园，哪知那里也有森林被破坏的问题，或许近年来好多了。

所幸的是，人们已逐步认识到，保护森林，禁止乱砍滥伐，保护植被是避免水土流失的有效办法，各地都相应采取了措施，效果正逐步显现。但过去多年的砍伐，还是给今天留下了祸根。现在我们除了提高防洪标准，保护自己的环境，已似乎别无他法。

保护环境，人人有责。

Save water. Water is the source of life. No water, no life. So its very important for us to do so.Not only should we protect drinking water and stop polluting it, but also make full use of it.节约用水。水是生命之源。没有水，就没有生命。所以这是非常重要的我们这么做。我们不仅要保护饮用水和停止污染，而且充分利用它。

Save electricity. It is crucial. We cant imagine what the life will be like without it.Everyone should do his best to save electricity. Dont forget to turn off lights or other electric machines when we finish working.节约用电。这是至关重要的。我们无法想象的生活就会像没有它。每个人都应该尽自己的最大努力节约用电。不要忘记关灯或其他当我们完成工作的电机。

Save forests. They are useful .Please stop cutting them down and use recycled paper instead. Make our world a green one to live in.拯救森林。他们是有用的。请停止切割下来，用再生纸代替。使我们的世界成为一个绿色的生活。
