终于，他下了车，一手拿着锯子，一手握着板凳，身上还背着个斧子，和一条又粗又长的黄绳子。呀!大事不妙，是伐木工!同伴们也瞧见了，急得直跺脚，大树爷爷也是，叶子都拉拢下来。我心想：“这可怎么办?我一定要保护我的家园，无论有多危险!”

不一会儿，伐木工便来到了我所居住的树下面，他张大嘴巴，又瞪大了眼睛，叫到：“天呢!这么粗壮的一棵树，我可发财喽!”说完他放下背包，抡起锯子就向树爷爷挥去，树爷爷惊恐万状，大喊：“快跑呀!小啄木鸟。”眼看着锯子要砍倒树爷爷了，我闭上眼睛，向伐木人用力啄去，“唉吆喂，我不砍了，不砍了，求你别啄我了，我漂亮的头发呀!”

终于，伐木工回到了车上，森林又重回原来的安静、安详……

我们应该为自己和后代着想，没有树的环境不堪设想。没有一个城市不因绿化而投入大笔的资金，更没有一个城市不需要绿化，因为健康的生活是需要绿色的。森林是我们不可多得的财富，我们要保护好自己手里的财富，让我们及后代好好利用，让这笔财富发辉更大的价值!

如何保护呢?我们可以从身边的事做起，来保护我们这笔巨大的财富。首先多种树，就前场的气候而言，可以种一些有经济效益的树，像桉树、核桃树、苹果树等等，这样不但能保护森林，还有收益;其次还可以使用“新能源”，我们可以用沼气和电代替大部分柴，如果条件好一点的可以用煤。我们要合理利用资源，节约能源，多为明天考虑。
