Furthermore, education means that children all over the world should be allowed to go to schools with good teachers and where teaching materials and methods can be adapted to each individual. Education means raising children to be responsible individuals.

This may sound like utopia, but it is not: if a country had important problems in its educational system, then it should realize that it is contributing to the worlds problems. These are perhaps long term solutions, but they are more realistic solutions than setting up yet another international organization.

我国是一个文明古国，土地辽阔，资源丰富。可是，由于人口众多，人均占有量极少，加上近年来随着人类对土地的不正当使用行为加剧，以及全球气候的急剧变化，原有耕地大量减少，人地矛盾日趋严重。所以，我们已经到了保护国土资源的迫切时候了。

土地是人类繁衍的根本，我们赖以生存的资源都来自于大地。保护耕地是我们珍惜土地的第一件事情。因为首先我国人均耕地在世界上处于低水平。人均耕地不及世界人均耕地的47%。全国已有666个县(区)人均耕地低于联合国粮农组织确定的0。8亩的警戒线，有463个县(区)低于0。5亩。其次是耕地质量总体水平低。全国耕地分布在山地、丘陵、高原地区的占66%，在平原、盆地的仅占34%。现有耕地中，有9100万亩坡度在25度以下，长期耕作不利于水土保持。耕地的自然分布存在缺陷，全国耕地中74。5%是旱地，只有25。5%是水田。另外是耕地退化严重。受荒漠影响，我国干旱、半干旱地区耕地的40%不同程度退化，全国有30%左右的耕地不同程度受水土流失危害。多么惊人的资料和数据哇!难怪江泽民爷爷反复强调：“保护耕地是事关社会主义建设全局的大事”;胡锦涛总书记也提出：“节约和集约利用土地，切实保护耕地特别是基本农田，加强资源管理，提高资源利用效率”。我们可要牢牢记住这两句重要的话呀!尽管如此，可还有很多损坏耕地，破坏资源的不法行为存在。就拿我的家乡湖州来说吧，湖州素有“丝绸之府，鱼米之乡”的美誉。但是，近几年由于过度的利用土地资源，许多耕地被占用，许多鱼塘被填埋，湖州人的骄傲已面临挑战。

例如2008年4月，禹越镇西港村村民沈永祥未经依法批准，擅自占用土地建造厂房，非法占地总面积8亩，所占用土地不符合土地利用总体规划，其中基本农田6。7亩，造成大量耕地毁坏;安吉县世杨压布厂于2007年9月未经依法批准，擅自进行厂房建设，共占用土地面积4。99亩，均为基本农田。这些都是直接破坏土地资源和生存环境的罪魁祸首。由于不珍惜土地，致使土地遭到侵蚀，水土大量流失，生态环境恶化，我国有很多的地方农村甚至都不能种植庄稼。现在，随着环境的恶化，我国平均每两年就灭绝一种野生动物，全世界有794种动物濒临灭绝。另外，今年以来的云南、贵州等地区的持续干旱，都是和环境的破坏有一定的联系。作为一名小学生，为了保护国土资源，保护我们的地球，我们可以做的就是：不踩一花一草，不摘一朵鲜花。虽然我们现在做得只不过是一些微小的事，但是我坚信要是人人都有保护环境的责任心，从自己做起，从小事做起，携手保护我们的家园，自然会给人类应有的回报。在温暖的摇篮——草原上休息;在慈祥的笑脸——天空下成长，在爱的源泉——河流中沐浴!

“珍爱土地，保护环境”这几个字眼是多么平常，但如果我们真的做到了，那么，未来的天空一定是碧蓝的，水是清澈的，绿树成荫鲜花遍地，人类可以尽情享受大自然赋予我们的财富和美好!

Serious Floods

The Yangzte River is the longest river in China. And its important and helpful to us Chinese. But these days the Yangtze River is bringing us serious floods.

Many villages were destroyed by floods. The floods made hundreds of millions of people lose their homes, relatives and friends. Many children cant go to school as usual .Now the foods have drawn the attention of the whole world. People from abroad have offered their help too. In China, millions of soldiers are busy fighting against the floods. They are working very hard. Many of them have lost their lives in their attempt to save the villagers.

Though we cant help them to fight against floods, we should help them to rebuild their homeland. We can present them our pocketmoney and clothes. I believe most of the people will return to their homeland in the near future.

严重的水灾

长江是中国最长的河流。它对我们中国人十分重要。但现在长江给我们带来了严重的水灾。

许多村庄被洪水冲毁于。洪水使成千上万的人失去了家园，亲戚和朋友。许多孩子不能与平常——样去学校了。现在洪水引起了全球的注意。国外的人也给予了援助。在中国，上百万的战士忙于与洪水搏斗。他们努力工作，许多人在救村民时献出了自己的生命。

尽管我们不能帮助他们抗洪，但我们可以帮他们重建家园。我们可以捐出零花钱和衣服。我相信在不久的将来大多数人会回到家乡。

地球，这位人类的母亲，这个生命的摇篮，是那样的美丽壮观，和蔼可亲。 但是，由于我们的滥砍滥伐，由于我们随意毁坏自然环境——地球那头美丽的秀发变的稀稀疏疏；地球那饱满的身躯变的骨瘦如柴；地球那容光焕发的面孔变的皱皱巴巴。一条条“皱纹”刻在了“母亲”的脸上！

为了让地球母亲展开那久违的笑容，我们应该注意我们身边的一些小毛病，一些大问题！

一些工厂为了自身的利益，大量的毁坏自然资源，并把污水，脏水顺着管道一齐流向了那清澈见底的小溪，碧波荡漾的河水，它们一下子变的混浊不堪，一条条小溪变成了一条条臭水沟！

不知大家是否观察过马路上的那些川流不息的汽车尾部，那尾部喷出的一团团黑色烟雾，好似一条条张牙舞爪的黑龙，毁坏着人们的身心，城市的环境! 对此，然后我还想向大家发出一些忠告：

1、不要浪费纸张，因为纸张来之不意！

2、不要乱丢乱扔，影响市容市貌！

3、出门时不要忘记关灯，以免浪费一度电！

4、洗完手请立即关水龙头，以免浪费一滴水！

5、不要在公共场所吸烟，既对自身不好，还污染空气！

6、养宠物的市民请不要让狗狗随地大小便，既污染环境，又污染风景！

7、.从我们身边做起,我们每一个人都要自觉做到不随便乱扔垃圾,不随地吐痰！

8、我们要爱护树木花草,不要随便砍伐,践踏绿色树木和草地，种一棵树就开辟了一片新蓝天！

9、一只小小的塑料袋在我们的生活中是微不足道的，它大约0.4克。可是我们每天只消费一个，就会产生4吨的塑料袋垃圾，所以请不要用塑料袋，减少白色污染！

10、每个人都有享受一次性筷子的权利。或许你不曾想过，哪怕我们每一个人这辈子只用过一次，我国也得砍掉15万棵生长了20年的大树。我国每年因生产一次性筷子消耗的林料就达200万立方米。这足以让长江泛滥洪水。你能说，环境问题与白色垃圾无关吗？所以避免白色污染！

以上是我提出的建议，也许不够成熟，但还是希望你们考虑考虑。也许我的写的这些只是一个微薄的力量，但是如果你们认真对待，每个人都出一份这样的微薄之力，那么，世界将是多么的美好！

我们生活的地球正在迅速恶化，我们不得不注意一下自己的生活环境有没有对大自然造成危害，大家必须必须别乱丢杂物，特别是那些污染严重的垃圾，比如废电池，因为一节废电池中所含的重金属，如果流到清洁的水中，它造成的污染是非常厉害的，其次要尽量节约纸张、铅笔等树木造的物品，因为浪费了这些东西就是毁灭森林。还要尽量少用一次性饭盒、筷子和塑料袋等物品，以免造成不必要的浪费和减少垃圾的产生。

还有一些小建议：走时要随手关总开关，以免电器过热爆炸，浪费钱又浪费电，要节约用水，刷牙时要关紧水龙头，洗菜水可以淘米，淘米水可以浇花，洗衣水可以拖地，如此就可以减少一些浪费了。不要随意捕杀野生动物，一二级保护动物是绝对不能杀的，但也别捕杀青蛙等常见动物，因为青蛙为我们吃掉1.5万的虫子，而且大部分是害虫。有些人经常不以为是，依旧我行我素，所以我们要尽量少吃野生动物，导致他们野生动物销售额下降，不再捕杀野生动物。

我们的森林被称之是氧气加工厂，所以要爱护花草植物，不要破坏城市绿化，还要积极参与。而且还要少砍伐树木，别浪费木质的物品，因为浪费了这些东西就等于毁灭了森林，所以要少用，来保护越来越少的森林。

用节能灯炮来代替普通灯泡，虽然有些贵但是可以相对的少用一些电的。我呼吁大家：用我们的日常行动来保护地球的环境，让我们的子子孙孙生活在一个美好的环境中!

很久很久以前，有一片大森林，那里的树木郁郁葱葱，一年四季花开花落，都像有一位别出心裁的园丁在装扮花园一样。动物们和平共处，小鸟在林间飞来飞去，带着朋友间的信息，彼此温暖地问候。

这样的美好持续了很久，直到有一天，这个地方出现了人类。人们发现了这个资源丰富的地方，并开始贪婪地砍树。久而久之，山坡上出现了裸露的土地，动物们的家园遭到了破坏，每天过着一饥半饱的生活，更多的动物开始离开这里，去寻找新的家园。而这里的人却越来越多，他们都是“慕名而来”，破坏着这片森林。

有一天，一场前所未有的暴风雨不期而至。没有了树木的阻挡，狂风疯狂地吹过每一个角落，留下一片狼藉。暴雨冲刷着没有树根连接的泥土，山坡瞬间成为平地，而原本清澈的溪流又成了浑浊的烂泥塘。人类居住的房子也被冲走了。有一只外出送信的小鸟，它对这一切却一无所知，当它送完信，高高兴兴的回家的时候，才发现自己的家已经被毁了，几滴泪水，滑出它的眼眶。小鸟愤怒了，它需要重建自己的家！它觉得代表动物们去和人类谈判，让人类重新修建森林。

小鸟踏上了重建家园的路程。首先，它遇到了猩猩大哥，“猩猩大哥，你看到破坏我们家园的人类了吗？”“没有”，猩猩看着小鸟，满面遗憾地说，“不过，祝你能找到他们。”“嗯，我一定会的！”听到猩猩大哥的加油打气，小鸟精神抖擞，又继续飞行。虽然小鸟一路上历经千辛万苦，可是它从未想过放弃。这天，它遇到了小狗。“小狗弟弟，你看到破坏我们森林的人类了吗？”“汪！汪！我看到了！他们的家就再前面！”“哦！好的，谢谢你！”听到这个消息后，小鸟高兴地叽叽喳喳地唱起了歌。小鸟终于来到人类的家中，其实人类的家园也被暴风雨给破坏了。“你们应该去把森林重建好！”小鸟对着人类说。“为什么？”人类抗议道，“我们的家也被破坏了啊！”小鸟毫不示弱地说：“因为你们破坏了森林，让许多动物无家可归，而且，没有了森林的保护，你们的家园才会被暴风雨摧毁！”人们如梦初醒，急忙修复森林，种上新的植物和树木。

从此，森林又恢复了往日的欣欣向荣。人们利用森林资源，又重新补上新的树木，维护着整个森林。在小鸟的帮助下，动物和人类一起在森林的入口处搭建了一个标牌，上面写着：保护森林，人人有责！
