2.一些零花钱。钱的用处可不是只有买东西那么一点，钱，可以让你在生活中有需要的东西，钱可以让你与某个人的关系暂时缓和，金钱，也可以让别人对你照顾到家(仅指大人在买东西的时候)，金钱，可以保证我们的衣食住行，生病了也可以及时就诊。

I like travelling very much， this years winter vacation I went to wuxi，

Shanghai， wuzhen and zhouzhuang， really appreciate the beauty of them!

Wuzhen is the place where I was like， it is so quiet， so has the charm， let

a person fondle admiringly! It has the very big difference and zhouzhuang，

although is "small bridge， flowing water， somebody elses style， but the quiet

wuzhen is zhouzhuang not comparable! Wuzhen is not so busy， zhouzhuang so noisy，

but its style is one big scenery!

Listening to zhouzhuang singing tune， let I as if place oneself in the old

jiangnan dragon boat， a beat my heart a position. There is no noise， only the

sweet ship tune! This is shen three thousand hometown -- zhouzhuang! Beautiful

river， ancient， and with a style of old bridge， guarded the beautiful land of

this one party!

Todays wuxi， let me have to admire it， though the beautiful night view

than Shanghai， but it is also the mainland top ten charm city! The charm of it

is still in the scenery around it. For example： li garden， three kingdoms city，

water margin and Tang Cheng beautiful scenery of wuxi city， it is no wonder that

wuxi would be so charming. Shanghai is a city that never sleeps， this word is

true. On the beauty of the bund， looking at star of the Oriental pearl tower， a

kind of want to stay in Shanghai， live in Shanghai will be instantly. In the

Oriental pearl tower in Shanghai at night is really an enjoyment， sparkling the

huangpu river， those dots of lights， and there will be a very romantic feeling!

I live in the hotel in nanjing road， visit the store every night， feeling really

There was once a family, and they were all happy. Although they did not

have much money, the children still thought that working is the best!

In their country, lived a wise king, and you may guess, that this king was

Lord said, “Go in,” The proud king, and the selfish Queen; with their son, the

wicked Roman prince, entered the mouth of the cave. General Lord led them

inside, and there sat the big tiger. This tiger said, “Hello dear friends,”

“Ah!” cried the king, “A talking tiger!” “Of course,” said General Lord, “Kings

were supposed to learn everything.”

“Now,” said the tiger, “What can I do for you General Lord?” “I want a

party!” “A party?” asked the proud king, “I just want you to help me win back my

crown!” he shouted, “Yes,” said General Lord, “But a party could show your

people that you love them and care for them.”

The king accepted the offer of General Lord, and so took the party

decorations, and decorated the main hall, and then made the treats, and invited

all the people here, “What do you want proud king?” “I want to give you a party,

to say that I am sorry for all the bad deeds I have done.”

“It’s about time proud king. Ha!” and then the music began; they danced all

night, and sang. Everybody thought that the king just wanted them to give him

back; but they already realized that they had already made Milan the king. And

so they went to the palace, and told him that they wanted the old king back; and

that he should get off the throne.

Milan was very angry by these words, and so sent guards to arrest him. Just

then the old king approached, he knew that Milan loved to dance, and that he

couldn’t bear not to. He took the music box here, and began to dance. As he

said, Milan began to dance, and he pushed him aside; which allowed him to sit,

and that was how the old king became king again.”

我是生活在繁华大都市中的小男孩，我的名字叫朱祺罡。我以前在电视里看到过你们的家和校园。你们的家只是由稻草和泥巴建成的，你们的床上只铺了一张草席而已，你们的教室四面都是透风的。而我呢，住在城市的高楼大厦里，而且要什么有什么，有时还要发些小脾气。

Dear Mr. President,

I am writing this letter to you to express my concern about the sports

facilities on campus. I have noticed that our university has very limited

resources in terms of opportunities to participate in sports, especially given

that the number of students on campus is increasing every year.

As we both know, sports are very important for the sound growth of young

people. If they have access to quality sports facilities, young people are able

to choose a healthier lifestyle, to boost self-esteem and confidence, and to

build a positive outlook and sense of achievement.

My proposal is to build a new sports area. It should be designed with

soccer players, basketball players, and ping-pong players in mind. It should

have a different section for each activity and be available to students all year

round. I believe such facilities will meet our sporting needs.

However, the life and study on university campus features independence, which is essential to our psychological development. In my view, we had better always bear in mind the idea of independence.

What’s more, English learning is a must. On one hand, without CET 4 certificate, we can not get our degree when we graduate from university. On the other hand, when we hunt for job, English level is a deciding factor. Therefore, I do hope that all of you will have a good understanding of the necessity of learning English well.

Dear Tom,

Thanks for your letter which finally caught up with me in London. I suppose youre keen to hear how the trip has been so far. So heres a short description of whats happened.

Well, you remember we left Sydney on Monday and arrived in London 24 hours later. After such a long and exhausting flight the first thing we did was to have a good, long sleep. And after that?a good meal to make up for all that horrible airline stuff!

The first real day of our holiday was spent just walking around London to get a feel of the place. After that, however, we were more particular and planned each day carefully.

First, we looked at all the historical sights, such as the Tower of London, the Houses of Parliament, the British Museum and the National Gallery. Then we visited some other famous places, such as Kew Gardens and Hampstead Heath. Finally, we took a one-day trip to Oxford, which is really the most marvelous town. You should make sure to go there when you visit England.

After we had seen a lot of London, we flew to Paris. A t first, we didnt like the place-I suppose because it was so different from London. Later, though, we began to really love it and started to appreciate its differentness.

The final stage of our trip is a visit to Rome, after which we will be staying in Singapore for two days before returning to Australia.

There was once a little boy called Guy, and he was eight years old. He was

in third grade; one day when he was at school, he found out that tomorrow was

picture day, and so he had got to take a shower. And before he even got to think

about picture day, his teacher Mrs. Creature, said that they were having a

project, and it was all about their family.

The teacher said, “This project shall be today’s homework, and I want it to

be perfect for I am going to tell your parents if you don’t do it.” Suddenly

Guy’s sister Cally stood up and said, “Mrs. Creature, is it okay that I finish

it on class?” “Sure thing Cally;” answered Mrs. Creature smiling, “But there is

only a problem, it is that you must let your brother copy this report on your

paper so that you could help him; then you will have to do another report of

your own, or you’ll both fail!”

Cally and Guy apparently got home, and Cally said, “Mrs. Creature’s hates

me…” “Yeah, it’s hilarious!” shouted Guy, “Let me just copy your paper and we’re

done, okay?” “Ugh,” replied Cally; She reached her hand into her hand, and

pulled out a piece of paper; and said, “This goes over every bone in my delicate

body, but, careful; it’s hand written,” then Guy asked, “Is this gold ink

paper?” then Cally shouted at him and said, “Anything happened to this paper and

your family history ends right here pal!” and then she walked to her room.

Guy walked to the sofa and said, “My running is fast, I have nothing to

worry about it;” then suddenly his father came with a paper shredder in his

hands and said, “Hey Guy, check out my new paper shredder and…” He had barely

finished when suddenly; Guy threw Cally’s report into the shredder by accident,

and “azuowenz!” like that sound, Cally’s report was shredded. Guy called, “No!”

then his dad was ashamed and said, “Oh, I guess it isn’t a good thing to walk

around with this thing turned on;” and then he ran off with his legs behind his

butt.

Suddenly, Guy’s body shook, and he turned into Shezow. He went to Sheila,

his, or her, super computer, and said to her; “What’s wrong Sheila, I’m kind of

busy around here and…”

“Dude, or should I say Shezow, this isn’t about your own business; because

there is an emergency out there.

After a breath Sheila said to Guy, “Mega monkey is on the attack, and

according to me he should be back in time.” Then Guy said, “Road trip! Time

traveling!” then he hopped into the sheicel and drove off to time travel… He was

excited.

She drove off right away. After that, she found some of the pass few

Shezows. At last Sheila said to Shezow, “My scan is lining up like dynamite,

follow that flapper!” shouted Sheila. Shezow followed it just as Sheila said,

and found herself in the 1920s; “Wow, it looks like the 1920s,” said Maze, Guy’s

brother. Then Shezow zoomed into a tornado.

When she opened her eyes, she found herself in 1924, the Shezow in that

time saved her world from Mega monkey that had escaped not long before, and

Sheila then said, “Quick, to the beginning!” then she allowed Shezow to drive to

the beginning where they might save the day…

Shezow at last arrived at the beginning, and she stopped in time. At first

a dinosaur was chasing her and was very, very frightened. But the Shezow in that

time saved her, she was grateful; then she found her or his or Guy’s report

there at the beginning Shezow’s lair…

The next day at school, when Guy’s report was handed out, he got an A+; and

when Cally’s report was handed out, she got an A-…

I am happy .I have my own room . Look!This is my room.It’s small but

clean.There is a desk and a bed.There are some dolls on my bed .There are two

chairs. There is a bookshelf，too.My bookshelf has two layers. I put the

story—books on the first layer. I put the other kinds books on the second layer.

I often clean it .There are two big windows. On the windows，you can see some

nice flowers.I like to watch them grow. And there is a balcony outside the room.

I was just a little girl five years old. At that age, I did nothing. Every

morning I would get up early and start dressing up to the playground to play. I

have no friends, but I am curious that I could make some by sharing things. And

so I took some bread from the cupboard, took a bottle of milk and ran to the

playground.

There were many children playing there: Some were playing hide and seek,

some were playing tag; some were playing catch, some were playing toys; some

were building sand castle… I ran to the sand pile, there I met some girls

building sand castles. I asked, “May I sit down here, please?” “Suit yourself

coward!” shouted the girls rudely at me.

And so I sat down and began to play. After I had finished half my sand

castle, I heard the girls say, “I am so hungry, but I don’t have money to buy

thing,” and then it hit me; “I have some bread to share with them.” And so I

took some bread out of my bag, and said, “Here, have some bread.” When the girls

I had spread some jam on my bread and took another piece, put it on top and

started to eat. When I had finished the last bite, I put the rest in my bag, and

went away. I was very sad that sharing things didn’t help me make friends; I

shall have to think of another. After ten days I have thought of another way,

and so started out to the fields. There sat a girl shepherd sitting next a rock.

Now it all happened that this girl was the one that had helped me with

everything I have.

I quietly took out a piece of paper, and wrote some words: I haven’t seen

you for a long time, and so have decided to write you this. I want to thank you

for all you have done for me in the past few years, what do you want me to do

you for this month? After I had finished writing the last words, I put it inside

an envelope; licked the stamp, and stuck in on the right corner of the envelope;

at last closed the top.

After that, I ran to her mail box and put it inside, and then went home.

After a few days I have found a letter from the shepherd girl in my mailbox. I

carefully opened it, and in it was a piece of paper; on the paper were some

words, these are the words: I am very grateful for your kindness, but really I

have much work to do in the fields; If you come here and be a shepherd with me;

then that is the most best thing you could do for me. After reading this, I

thought to myself: I am alone so I guess I could be a shepherd. And so I told my

parents, and set off.

Finally, I had arrived; the shepherd girl came to meet me. “Now I am you

friend Margaret.” said the shepherd girl to me.

English is the International language. My parents let me learn it since I

was three years old. But as China is becoming stronger, the world is crazy about

learning Chinese. Many successful people have mastered Chinese, so as to have

more chances to do business. English and Chinese are the future languages. We

must learn them well.

I am so glad to hear that you have graduated from UCLA and come back to

work in Suzhou.

If you are free this Saturday, please come to Shanghai and have a good time

with me.

We can first go to the Century Park, where the flowers are all in

blossom.

Let’s go boating on the lake —isn’t it pleasant in the cool breeze? Then I

will treat you to dinner at a western restaurant on Huaihai Road—it is small but

really nice—I’m sure you will enjoy it.

After dinner, let’s go to a concert—you are a music lover, aren’t you?
