人们常说“坚持到底就是胜利”，因而坚持是一种美，但我认为，有的时候，放弃也是一种美。

这还是我上初三时发生的事。

夜，已经很深了。窗外静静地没有一丝声息，仿佛连自己的心跳声都能听见。星星困乏地眨了眨眼睛，沉沉的睡去了。我的上下眼皮开始不停地翻合，提着笔的手渐渐感到越来越沉重，我快支撑不住了。随着“啪”的一声，笔掉在地上的声音惊醒了我，我一下子回过神来，捡起笔又埋头苦干起来。

但这清醒毕竟只能维持短暂的片刻，我又开始犯困，真想好好睡一觉，不过，作业还没写好，怎么办呢?

我看了一下表，已近凌晨一点，如果现在睡觉，还有最多五个小时的休息时间，再翻一下我的作业吧，数学还有三大题没写，是放弃去休息还是坚持熬夜奋战?

接着写吧，作为一名学生，尤其是一名初三学生，是必须要不折不扣的完成作业的。但与此同时，心底另一个声音在对我说：放弃吧!作为一名初三学生，完成作业固然重要，好好休息更加重要，这样，才能有更好的精力投入到第二天的学习中去。

坚持把作业写完!坚持到底就是胜利，你一定能完成的;放弃吧!数学本就不是你的强项，浪费休息的时间去完成这三道题，万一一点头绪没有呢?岂不是“赔了夫人又折兵”，得不偿失啊!

坚持吧!我一直在努力改变偏科的现状，提高自己的数学成绩，如果放弃，岂不是前功尽弃?于是我提起笔，在纸上“唰唰”地写着，写着写着，突然停下了。

想起了这段时间连夜奋战，白天的上课效率急剧下跌，有的时候听着听着竟一不小心睡着了。这就导致了作业的效率直线下降，已经形成了一个恶性循环。再这样下去可不行，我会毁了我自己的。

想到这，我就感到毛骨悚然。我还是放弃吧。好好休息一下，明天上课认真听，就不用熬得这么晚了。

我轻轻而又坚定的放下笔，合上书，走进了卧室……

很久以前，听过梁静茹的《勇气》，我很喜欢其中的一句：“爱真的需要勇气，去相信会在一起。”我觉得，做任何事，都是需要勇气的。对于那三道数学题，放弃会比坚持需要更大的勇气吧。

放弃，这也是一种美丽。放弃，是一种由勇气点缀着的，最绚丽夺目的美!

语文这门课程，我在小学并不是很喜欢，总觉得语文课枯燥又乏味，一些难以理解的语句，需要背诵的文章，还有写作文，让我渐渐失去对语文课的兴趣，从而不喜欢这一科目。

然而，刚开始的初中生活，让我逐渐喜欢语文课。开学第一节语文课让我很期待，因为我们的语文老师是久仰大名的武德胜啊！进了教室，他做了自我介绍，江湖人称“笑面虎”。这个外号可真特别，本认为十分严厉的老师，也没有想象中严厉，语文课也没有想象中那么任务重，压力大。语文课可是异常的轻松啊！

每节课只需练字，读课文。老师教我们写大字，老师在黑板上写的字，大的连一本书都盖不上，还那么好看，一般的老师可写不出来。

读课文要有感情朗读，要断句、换气，提高了我们的朗读水平。

老师也从不讲课本上的知识，而是教我们做人的道理和生活中的哲理。老师特别幽默，总能带给我们最痛快的笑声。

一节语文课，十分活跃，老师规定读课文，下课之前没读上的，笑场的，还有声音小的，都要挨板子。这可让我紧张了，万一读不上怎么办？老师刚说“开始”，就站起来一大片同学，好在后来同学们互相谦让，我也读上了，心里的一块大石头才算落下了。大家都读上了课文，不过有几个笑场的，就要接受惩罚了。“啪”的一声，看着都疼，老师也是要通过疼痛来教育我们而已。可见同学们对语文课也充满了热情。

慢慢地，我对语文充满了喜爱，每天都期待语文课，期待老师带给我们的快乐，期待老师给予我们不一样的知识。
