There are several reasons accounting for this problem. Apart from the polluted environment and natural disasters, illegal killing is an important reason. 地球上的人有很多，而地球只有一个。它是我们生命的源泉，它是我们生活的家园，没有了它就等于没有生命。所以我们应该好好地爱护它，而不是无止境地去破坏它。你也许会发现：近几年来，我们身边的树被砍伐了，原本清澈的小河变得又脏又臭，树林变得越来越少了，珍稀动植物濒临灭绝。你也许会问：这是为什么?而答案就是：而这一切的一切都是由我们自己造成的。

我们就从节约用水说，有些人有可能会不服气，也许会说浪费几滴水又不会破坏地球资源。是的，是不会对地球产生什么威胁，可是，你可以换个角度来看待问题：若全世界的每个人都每天浪费3滴水，那么一天世界上50亿人就会浪费150亿滴水，但要是把这些谁留下来帮助困难地区的人民，那么世界上每年因没水喝而死的人数也会大大减少。若我们人类从现在开始还不节约资源的话，那么“世界末日”将会成为现实。

其实，保护地球并不是像我们想象的那样难，反过来还很简单。比如：不乱扔垃圾、不随地吐痰、不浪费水源、少开汽车可选乘公共汽车或骑自行车上班、洗碗盘时少用一点洗洁精、去购物时自己带环保购物袋避免白色污染、白天不开灯……保护地球并不会让你很累的去劳动，简单的保护地球人人都可以做到，在我们日常的生活中只要微微注意一点我们的生活就可以变得更好，保护地球，让我们从点滴开始。

正如一句公益广告词说的那样：地球很美，也很脆弱。从现在开始，让我们行动起来，让我们的家园——地球，变得更美丽吧!
