luckily, some people are working to help save the animals. some groups raise money to let people know about the problem. and they try to get the governments to pass laws protecting animals in danger. quite a few countries have passed laws. these laws forbid the killing of any animal or planton the danger list. slowly, the number of some animals in danger is growing.

It is undeniable that the worsening environment has become the biggest concern of the present-day world. Land resources are dwindling because of water loss and soil erosion. Waste gases poison the air we breathe. The rivers and lakes are polluted by waste dumped in them from factories. It is probably no exaggeration to say that deterioration of the quality of the environment threatens the existence of mankind itself.

Some people are of the opinion that the environmental problem is the price we have to pay for economic development. But I do not think that this argument is valid. After all, what is the point of economic growth if peoples lives are adversely alfected by worsening environmental pollution ?

有些人认为环境问题是我们因为经济发展而必须要付出的代价。但我不认为这种观点是有效的。毕竟,经济增长的重点是什么?如果人们的生活环境被日益恶化、被严重污染了，那还有什么意义?

Environmental protection is everyones responsibility, we all know! But now the environment is not optimistic, such as: someone spit on the ground, someone littering, still pulling weeds, folding flowers. These are nothing, because some people, not only protect the environment, but also damage the environment. The first step to protect the environment: learn how to protect the environment. 保护环境是大家的职责，大家都知道吧!但是现在的环境状况却不容乐观，比如：有人在地上吐痰，有人乱扔垃圾，还有人拔草、折花。这些都不算什么，因为还有些人，不仅不保护环境，而且还破坏环境。因为有这种人的存在，所以环境才在急剧恶化，因此我们要多加保护环境，对破坏环境的人应该劝阻。这样，树就会多了，草和花也茂盛了，自然，沙尘暴之类的灾难就不会发生了!

今天，我就让大家来看看应该怎样保护环境。有些人可能会说：在城市里放几块宣传保护环境的牌子不就好了吗，其实，这种想法是错误的。有人可能会说了：这不是在宣传保护环境吗?当然不是，因为这里有两点原因：1，有一些人有可能每天都不看牌子，所以就不会加入到保护环境的队伍中去。习惯差的，还有可能继续破坏环境。2，那个人看是看了，但他不想加入到这个行列中去或是根本就不想保护环境。从这两点可以说明光是几块宣传的牌子是没用的。哪有人可能会急切地问道：那该怎么办!办法很简单，只要自己要保护环境的信心，自己身边的人也会跟着做的!

保护环境第一步：自己学会保护环境。要求：自己要自觉地保护环境，不能连自己都在破坏环境，这样你就连管别人的要求都达不到了。保护环境第二步：劝告别人保护环境。要求：如果见别人乱扔垃圾或吐痰等，应该立即上去劝阻。当然自己也要管得知自己哟!保护环境第三步：让一个集体保护环境。要求：让几十个人并成一个集体，并保护环境。如果你这三点都做到了，那你就是一个“保护环境小卫士”了!

这就是我保护环境的观点。我现在也在努力保护环境，你呢?
