Step 9,2011 Sunday Today my classmates and I went to the Old The nursing home on foot at 3 oclock in the afternoon. As soon as we got there, we began to clean the rooms and wash clothes for the old people. Some of us talked with them. After that we gave them some performances. doing so in their spare time。 Everybody knows his own language， but to know another is very useful。

河两旁的垃圾随处可见并发出难闻的气味，当人们从桥上经过，人们不得不用手把鼻子住，这时，如果再有一阵风吹来，河道两旁的垃圾就随风四处乱飘，有时候它会飘到你脸上，让你寻找不到方向。河面上苍蝇更是满天飞舞，如果你这时拎有好吃的被它发现，它就会紧跟着你非想美食一顿，这时，你会非常扫兴。

几年后，十堰市政府开始关注百二河的环境，并加大治理力度，政府下拔很多资金请工人把河里的垃圾清掉，并修建了水渠，在河的两旁还种上了草和树，政府还停办了一些排放污水的工厂，为民防止人们再破坏我们美丽的家园。

为了杜绝以前的情况再次发生，政府还派专人负责清理这里每天发生的生活垃圾。这样，这里的环境大大地改善了。在今后，我希望百二河的水变得越来越清澈、明亮，那时，河里小鱼自由自在地玩耍，小鸟在树上欢声笑语。

同学们，为了我们美丽的地球再资呈现昔日的光彩，为了动物的家园，更为了我们自己，希望我们每个人都做到不用塑料餐盒，拒绝使用一次性筷子，为了我们的家园，赶快行动起来吧!
