汲黯是西汉武帝时代人，以刚直正义、敢讲真话而受人尊重。他为人和做官都不拘小节，讲求实效。虽然表面上不那么轰轰烈烈，却能把一个郡治理得井井有条，因此，朝廷把他从东海太守调到朝廷当主爵都尉——一种主管地方吏任免的官职。

有一次，汉武帝说要实行儒家的仁义之政，为老百姓办好事了。没等皇帝把话说完，汲黯就说：“陛下内心里那么贪婪多欲，表面上却要装得实行仁政，这是何苦呢？”一句话把皇帝噎了回去。汉武帝登时脸色大变，宣布罢朝，满朝文武都为汲黯捏着一把汗，担心他会因此招来大祸。武帝回到宫里以后，对身边的人说，汲黯这个人也未免太粗太直了。

从此以后，汲黯的官职再也没有提升。他当主爵都尉的时候，公孙弘、张汤都还是不起眼的小官，后来，他们一个劲儿住上升，公孙弘当上了丞相，张汤做上了御史大夫，可他汲黯还蹲在原地没动窝。有一天，汲黯对武帝说，陛下使用群臣，跟码劈柴一样，是“后来者居上”啊！汉武帝当然听得出这是发牢骚。于是，转脸对臣下们说：“人真是不能不学习啊！你们听汲黯说话，越来越离谱了！”

故事出自《史记汲郑列传》。成语“后来居上”，往往指后起的可以胜过先前的。和汲黯说这话的原意，大不相同。

Environmental protection, there are many problems at present. The most serious problems is the serious pollution of air, water and soil. Air pollution is very harmful to human health. Polluted water causes pain, resulting in death. Whats more, with the rapid expansion of modern society, vegetation greatly reduced.

In order to protect the environment, governments have done a lot of work. Adopted legislative measures to control air pollution, to protect forest resources and Marine resources and to stop any environmental pollution. Therefore, in todays government plays a most important role in environmental protection.

My view is that, in order to protect the environment, the government should take more concrete measures. First of all, should by the methods of education make people fully realize the importance of environmental protection. Second, should be more efforts to put the family planning policy into practice, because more people means severe pollution. Finally, to severely punish those who intentionally damage the environment. That they damage the environment is the destruction of man himself.

目前环保还存在着许多问题。最严重的问题就是空气、水和土壤的严重污染。污染的空气对人类的健康十分有害。污染的水引起疼病，造成死亡。更有甚者，随着现代社会的迅速扩建，植被大大的减少。

为了保护环境，各国政府做了大量的工作。采用了立法措施控制大气污染，保护森林资源和海洋资源，制止任何环境污染。因此，在当今的环保中政府起着最重要的作用。

我的看法是，为了保护环境，政府应当采取更具体的措施。首先，应当通过教育的方法使人们充分謒到环境保护的重要性。第二，应更加努力把计划生育政策付诸实施，因为人口多就意味着污染严重。最后，要严惩那些故意破坏环境者。使他们破坏环境就是毁灭人类自己。

地球，人类的母亲，生命的摇篮。她有着蔚蓝无垠的海洋，郁郁葱葱的森林，碧草如丝的原野；她还有着清新的空气，滋润的雨水，温柔的清风……是那样壮观，那样可亲。

1：使用无磷洗涤剂。

2：将再生资源分类回收。

3：少用一次性制品，如：一次性筷子、杯子、碗等。

4：选用环保建材修装居室。

5：保护野生动物，禁食野生动物。

6：提倡选购绿色食品。

Last weekend, I wanted to swim in the river that I usually wen in the childhood. When I went there, I was shock. The river is no longer like before. It was full of rubbish. The First Day in New Term

Today is September 3rd, the first day of the new semester. I am happy to see all of my classmates come back to school. Today is the first day for school, so we get our new textbooks. I open them generally and I find that I am interested in most of the contexts. Today we have Chinese, math, English, physics and so on. In the Chinese class, our teacher greets to us and then she suggests us talking about our holidays to others. All of us share the interesting things with classmates.
