When I was small, I know there is a Chinese building called the Great Wall. So I

very want to go to there to see. Finally, when I was three years old, my father

and mother took me to the Great Wall.

mountain. Its ups and downs, and sometimes hidden in the mountains, and

The Mid-Autumn Festival

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a very important Chinese festival. It falls on

the 15th day of August. A few days before the festival， everyone in the family

will help to make the house clean and beautiful. Lanterns will be hung in front

of the house.

On the evening there will be a big family dinner. People who work far away

from their homes will try to come back for the union. After dinner， people will

light the lanterns which are usually red and round. Children will play with

their own toy lanterns happily.

At night the moon is usually round and bright. People can enjoy the moon

while eating moon-cakes which are the special food for this festival. They can

look back on the past and look forward to the future together. It is said that

there was a dragon in the sky. The dragon wanted to swallow up the moon. To

protect the frighten the dragon away.

on it. Everybody agreed with me, so we spent a day to take some funny pictures,

OnFriendshipEveryone needs friendship. No one can sail the ocean of life

single handed. We need help from, and also give help to, others. In the modern

age, people attach more importance to relations and connections. A man of

charisma has many friends. His power lies in his ability to give.The term,

friend, covers a wide range of raeanings. It can be a nodding acquaintance, a

comrade, a confident, a partner, a playmate, a brother, an intimate etc.As life

is full of strife and conflict, we need friends to support and help as out of

difficulties. Our frinods give us warnings against danger. True friends share

not only joy but, more often than not, they share sorrow.With friendship, life

and that’s what I really need. If you travel alone, you have to do everything by

yourself in the journey, for instance, to buy a ticket, to book hotel, and ask

directions. That maybe just a small case for extrovert, but for introvert, like

me, it’s really a big challenge. I remember the first time I go to travel with

friends and my little brother, they did everything, and I just follow and had

fun. I even too shame to check into a hotel, and my little brother did it for

me. I was humiliated for that. So, travel alone could force introvert to do the

things that you don’t dare to do. It could help you to build an outgoing

personality. For extrovert, travel alone could enhance your ability to handle

emergence case.

Secondly, travel alone gives you peace of mind. Image that, you walking

alone in the beach, there are no sounds of human beings, just burst of sound

waves. You close your eyes, enjoy the moment, you will feel peace.

In short, travel alone could be loneliness and dangerous, especially for

girls, but it’s worth having a try for the beautiful scene in the journey, it

seems like all the things are just exist for you.

Before Chinese students go to college, they have been told about the great

things on campus life all the time, so they have the motivation to study hard.

When they come to university, they begin to slow down their pace to study and

waste their youth.

Nowadays, a lot of college students lose motivation to move on when they

come to the new chapter of their life. Campus life seems to be relaxed and a

First of all, we should lead to a regular life. Early to bed and early to

health. We should remember to turn off the phones before sleep. Second, don’t be

too particular about food. Try to eat more fruit and vegetables and less sugars

meat in one week. Last but not least, we should do exercise everyday. There are

After I go to school, teachers always tell me to study hard, so that I can

be the excellent student. But now I have grown up, I have my own idea. The

Her dumplings are fat and big, like the old Buddha sleeping. After the dumplings have finished, mom put them in a pressure cooker for 40 minutes, then another three or four hours to make it taste and then eat it! My mothers dumplings are very fragrant, so that when I see the zongzi, I will eat them. So, when eating zongzi, I always eat a lot!

As the National Day came, I have a vacation, so I made the plan to go out

and travel to the different places. Last year, I went to the big cities, like

Shanghai, there were so many people, I could hardly see the tourist site. So

this year, I decided to go to the small place, Wu Zhou. But the result is almost

the same, so many people were around everywhere.

When I arrived at Wu Zhou, I was attracted by its beautiful scenery, though

the city is small, the water and the mountain are around the city, which makes

the city beautiful and casual. The city is famous for the food, especially the

restaurant which below the Baiyun mountain. I thought it maybe a little more

people, so I woke up early in the morning for avoiding the summit time. I came

to the restaurant at about 7 o’clock, there were a lot of people standing in the

long line. It needs to take about two hour for me to get a table!

Now I have learned a lesson, it is better not to take a trip in the

festival, I need to miss the time if I want to travel in a comfortable way.

The New Year is coming and this term has finished. Now, I can enjoy a happy

winter holiday. In winter holiday, I don’t have to get up early every morning.

It’s the best thing for me. I often get up at nine o’clock in the morning. My

parents go to work so I stay at home alone. I will go out for breakfast. Noodle,

milk and egg are my favorites. Then I go back home to watch TV or meet my

friends. We always have many things to do. My parents would go home at noon so I

have lunch at home. In the afternoon, I will sleep and then do some homework. In

short, I spend most time in playing. I love winter holiday.
