The story took place in 1940. A man who is a banker called Andy Dufresne, was sent into the Shawshank prison, for he murderer his wife and her lover in bed. However, he was innocent as he said. The new days in the prison were hard to live. It’s violent, heartless and cruel. Nevertheless, A month later, Andy began to make friends with other prisoners. And one of them called Red, who could get anything what he wanted. Andy bought a mallet from him and started his plan to escape. During this time, he did many things: expanding the library, caving stones, helping the corrupt warden to get money or bribe, etc. Then a young prisoner’s coming break his quiet life in jail. But the warden killed the young prisoner the only man that knew Andy was innocent. Then he knew the prison he could not stay any more. It took him 20 years to tunnel secretly and he successfully escaped from the prison. When he got free, Andy sent the evident which could prove the warden corruption, briber and murdering to the policy agency. Before that, Andy had told his best friend Red that his dream---Zihuatanejo, a warm place without memory. After escaping, Andy lived a free life in another identity and made the prison governor arrested. Several years later, Red was approved to leave. for the promise to Andy. Finally, in Zihuyatanejo, they met.

The cruel prison life terrified me and the friendship moved me. The story goes to a happy ending---redemption. This film impressed me a lot. A sentence was said in the film: ’Some birds aren"t meant to be caged, but most birds will choose to stand it.’

In this film, as we can see, the Shawshank Prison, which enjails lots of people. They have been in the prison form many years ,so they won’t go abroad. Because they won’t and also they can’t. They lived here for years without hope, and they lived just in the small prison, where nobody knows what is their dream and what’s their hope. As I remember, a old man Brooks was released after he had been in the jail for 50 years. But he found that the world became completely different from the world he imagined. For example, he seldom see cars before. He felt very strange and helpless to the outside world He can hardly adapt to the new developed world. He would rather stay in the prison. So unfortunately he chose to commit suicide.

However, on the contrary, Andy said a converse sentence:’ Some birds aren"t meant to be caged, that"s all. Their feathers are just too bright’ He long for the freedom and strive for it! Furthermore, the patience, courage and b willpower are the keys to escape. 20 years, not a short ordeal time, but he endured. He made his plan day by day, week by week and year by year. He never gives up. he took nearly twenty years to dip a tunnel with a little rock hammer which Red said it would take a man 600 years to tunnel under the wall with one of these to fight for his free .And he did it finally. Please imagine, crossing the tunnel he dup, he still should crawled through five hundred yards of shit-smelling foulness. That is the length of five football fields.

Then is the last but not least, I think. He has the bright brain ,the never fading persistent, and the most important thing----hope. Just as Andy said to Red: Hope is a good thing, may be the best of things. In this film, Andy show us that how good thing the hope is. Yes , hope is a good thing. Whatever it is, it can’t lock the hope. We all have dream. We all have hope. We all have it and please never give up, like Andy.

This film, Shawshank Redemption, teaches me a lot. It deserves to be one of the most overwhelming films in the Hollywood.

这本书主要讲了小男孩杰伊·贝里·李为了让自己拥有小马和枪，带着猎狗罗迪到河边洼地去逮捕一群被马戏团悬赏的猴子，在爷爷的帮助下，他用过布网、下夹、陷阱等许多计谋，却都被聪明的猴子一一识破了。后来一次暴风雨过后，杰伊贝里帮助猴子们回到马戏团。但是他得来的钱并没有去买小马和枪，而是用这些钱治好了妹妹的残腿。

在我读到这本书的最后时，我也特别激动，我为杰伊·贝里·李感到骄傲，也为他的父母感到欣慰，更为他的妹妹戴西感到高兴。我还有个问题，就是爷爷奶奶不是跟妈妈和戴西一起去城里了吗？为什么妈妈的信是一封给杰伊·贝里的一封是给爷爷奶奶的？而且给杰伊·贝里的信还要让爷爷送过去？

这本书主要讲的是，岳飞他武艺高强，用兵如神，训练了一支纪律严明，作战勇敢的抗金武装——岳家军，为挽救民族的危亡与敌人作殊死的争斗，并屡战屡胜，最后却被昏庸的宋高宗和阴险的奸丞秦桧害死。

因此后来“撼山易，撼岳家军难”的美名传颂千古!岳飞气壮山河的爱国情怀和高超的军事才能，至今也仍受到人们的敬仰和缅怀。

这部名著让我感受到岳飞的忠，义，勇是多么难得的呀!并给了我一些启示，其实生活中的困难只要你肯动一动脑筋就可以解决并不是想象中的那么难。千万不要被表面事象给蒙蔽了双眼，有些事物看上去不可能做到，但世界上没有不可能只有你不肯去探索未知的答案。

《人间失格》全书都弥漫着一股颓丧、自暴自弃的气息，甚至是厌世的，读至一半，我开始疑惑它的悲观基调为何会在书榜中常年居于高位。

以第一人称描写的主人公，有孤僻性格。从童年开始，“我”的内心思考问题就十分消极而深刻，深刻是往消极中不断延伸，已至于“我”害怕和惶恐去跟别人交流什么，但是找到了另一种表达方式——搞笑。用极尽搞笑的方式去面对任何事情，伪装自己的悲观内心。一旦出现看穿他的人，又会陷入十分的惶恐。

主人公的性格并非社恐，生于富裕有威望的家庭，是家中比较小的儿子，父亲在家庭中是颇具威严和地位(在外当官)，对父亲有一定的害怕，但父亲对他并没有很严厉。抱着主人公的性格何为从小开始就如此悲观消极的疑问一直读完。之后的人生，也是一步步越走越坏，在高中时代就参加地下运动，结识狐朋狗友，吃喝嫖赌，然后以一次和有夫之妇的跳海殉情被救为界限，正式被家中断绝关系，从此更是自暴自弃，穷困、欺骗、睡女人、酗酒，到后来毒瘾成性，被关进精神病院最后被家中大哥接回乡下养病。

主人公认为他人生的错误在于父亲和比目鱼。父亲并没有露面处理，担保人是讨好父亲的门客比目鱼。他无处可去，学业已荒废，暂时住在比目鱼家中。为何要将大部分原因怪罪在比目鱼身上，是因为怪比目鱼没有很明确的传达主人公家中的意思：如果还想继续学业，那么家中会帮助他、赞助他学费回到学校。比目鱼出于心机的“好心”，告诉主人公自己考虑接下来要怎么办，他会给予帮助。自此传达的错误信号，让主人公不想给他添麻烦，或者供养他从而厌烦他，从此人生道路偏离。

这是书中“我”的观点，可以看出，“我”没有一点积极心态，把人生偏差过错轻易归咎他人，(假使“我”得知真相，但参考“我”的习性、性格，人生也不一定会回到正途)并且“理所应当”地越过越混，一直似乎都是在寻欢作乐又穷困潦倒的边缘亦梦亦醒，又异常孤独。

书的最后附着上了作者太宰治的生平轨迹，太宰治本身命运曲折，书中很多主人公的经历和都与他类似，最明显的是主人公和作者都多次尝试自杀，自杀的方式几乎相同，可以说本书也是他自身的一些自述。

对于作者的自杀原因，我们无从而知，从译者的推测中可以窥中一二，他是这样一个内心拥有至高无上的温柔的人，对待女人即使如此，因而无法拒绝情人的自杀提议。折射至《人间失格》中出场的女性也颇多，占据大幅，各自抚慰、陪伴过主人公一段时间。

这本书的价值，可能要研究过日本历史和文学发展史，才能更深刻体会。了解生平后发现太宰治是日本一个重要而多产的作家，主导着当时二战后“无赖派”文学。本书是我读过他的第一部作品。有机会去研读日本史后，在读作者一些其他作品应该会更好。

暑假期间，我读了长篇小说《红楼梦》。《红楼梦》是我国古代章回体长篇小说，它成书于清代乾隆年间，由曹雪芹和高鹗所著，是我国古典四大名著之一。这本书以贾宝玉与林黛玉、薛宝钗的爱情和婚姻悲剧为主线，真实的再现了当时的社会生活。

在红楼梦中，我最喜欢看的是《刘姥姥醉酒》这一章。在贾府吃饭时，刘姥姥边喝酒边行酒令说：“老刘老刘，食大如牛，吃一个老母猪不抬头。”看了刘姥姥风趣的言语，我差点笑破肚皮。接着贾母领她到省亲别墅牌坊下，刘姥姥以为是大庙，便趴下磕头。后来刘姥姥竟迷了路。她顺着石子路走进一门，拐两拐，见一女孩含笑迎来，忙道：“姑娘们把我丢了。”说着去拉她的手，不料“咕咚”一声，头碰板壁上，仔细一看原来是一幅画。哈哈，刘姥姥真是一个大活宝呀!你看到这里是不是觉得刘姥姥很傻呀!其实刘姥姥并不傻，我看她不过是装疯卖傻，她的小心眼是逗贾府的人开心，好得到赏钱罢了。

《红楼梦》是一本博大精深包罗万象的“百科全书”，上面有一些东西我还不能理解，我决定今年寒假，再读一遍《红楼梦》，相信到时我一定会有新的收获。

细读朱自清的《春》，我不由地有这样一种感觉：这是一个大病初愈的文化人，面对春意盎然的原野，他又重新找回了一种自信和自尊，编织着自己的理想之梦。这是一个经历了“心灵炼狱”的知识分子，在大自然温暖的怀抱中，他沉醉其间，诗情联翩，感受到了一种“天人合一”的美妙境界和“天行健，君子以自强不息”的心灵冲动。他从时代的“十字街头”撤退下来，又在这里找到了自己的“安身立命”之所。我总觉得，朱自清笔下的“春景图”，不是他故乡江浙一带的那种温暖潮湿的春景，也不是北方城郊的那种壮阔而盎然的春景，更不是如画家笔下那种如实临摹的写生画，而是作家在大自然的启迪和感召下，由他的心灵酿造出来的一幅艺术图画。在这幅图画中，隐藏了他太多的心灵密码。

朱自清研究专家吴周文先生说：“在很多散文中，朱自清惨淡经营诗的意境，将人格美的‘情’与自然美的‘景’两者交融起来，创造了情与景会、情景交融的艺术境界。这种境界的构思，整个地展现自我人格，以美妙的意象作为人格的外化手段，于是他的笔下，自然美成为自我人格的精神拟态，或象征性的写照;个人特定的情绪、思想，也因自然美的依附，得到了诗意的写照，或者说得到了模糊性的象征。怎样创造这种意境，完成自然美与人格美二者的附丽与连结?对此，朱自清则是继承弘扬以形传神、重在神似的艺术精神这一整体性的审美把握，加上‘诗可以怨’的审美理想的制导，生成了风格的隐秀与清逸的色彩。”(吴周文《诗教理想与人格理想的互融》，《文学评论》1993年第3期)对朱自清散文的深层意蕴，我以为这些话是深中肯綮的。朱自清属于那种感情和感觉特别敏锐、细腻、真挚的人，对大自然的四季变化和山水花鸟等等，又有着特有的亲和情怀和观赏兴致。他的写景，往往是景中有“我”，“我”中有景，景“我”合一。他所以要调动起自己的一切感官以及思想和情感，反复品味、字斟句酌、“用笔如舌”，正是要把自己的全部人生、人格投入到大自然的形神中去，让自然的美与他人生的美浑然为一。他不像鲁迅，在描写自然中采取一种超然的、审视的态度，甚至不惜写了自然的丑来;他也不像周作人，在刻画自然中沉溺其间、忘却自己，恨不得化为自然的一部分。朱自清在大自然的怀抱中是投入的、虔诚的，但同时又是自觉的、清醒的。从这一点来说，他是最得中国传统文化中的“天人合一”和“中庸之道”的真谛的。在《春》这篇简短而明朗的散文中，同样体现了他的人格操守和审美理想。

今年暑假我看了四大名著之一《水浒传》。这本书让我了解了中国的历史，水浒英雄们的反抗精神和封建社会的腐败的一面，是一本耐人寻味的书。

这本书中的人物个个形象鲜明，宋江和柴进仗义疏财，武松英勇打虎，吴用的足智多谋。就说天真烂漫的李逵，他颇有些野，一身鲁莽庄稼汉和无业游民的习气，动不动就发火，遇事不分青红皂白，总是一说二打三骂，结果不是后悔就是吃亏。但是却有着“富贵不能淫，贫贱不能移，威武不能屈”的气概。最重要的是他身上有一种英雄气概，有一种愿意为兄弟两肋插刀的仗义，他这点让我尤其感动。

但在水浒一百零八将中，“花和尚鲁智深”更让我敬佩。他一生屡出奇谋，屡建战功。“花和尚鲁智深”是一位非常直率、暴烈如火，却侠骨柔情、杀却恶人为的是救穷苦人于水火的真汉子，英雄人物。他往往在人们面前表现出一副粗鲁、野蛮，可他在冲锋陷阵的时候可毫不含糊，挥着62斤重的禅杖上阵杀敌。

《水浒传》这本书写出了一百零八将的不同人生，不同品格，却有着同一的愿望——为国杀敌，劫富济贫。的确是一本耐人寻味的好书啊!

汤姆索亚，一个在大人们眼里不折不扣的坏孩子：调皮，恶作剧，逃学……而这些这甚至已经成为他每天必做的一些事情!然而，就是这样一个调皮捣蛋以至于“无恶不作”的顽童，身上却闪烁着许多优点。

一次，他与“野孩子”哈克为了一点微乎其微的小事跑到墓地中去。无意间，他们目睹了一幕恐怖的杀人事件。但凶手乔却嫁祸给哈波，于是，愤怒的居民们将被冤枉的哈波抓了起来。审判哈波的日子一天一天逼近，汤姆不禁犹豫了：说吧，又怕杀人不眨眼的乔将他杀掉;不说吧，他的良心正受着无比的煎熬。最后，汤姆决定在法庭上证明一切。这是杀人案，况且，当时杀人犯乔也在场，他就不怕乔吗?说不怕都是假的，但汤姆有超强的正义感，所以他才不顾一切救哈波，要还他清白。

汤姆就是这样的坚定果敢，富有良知和正义感，关键时他总能挺身而出，把自己的生死之置于度外。我被汤姆的举动深深震撼了。要知道，在汤姆生活的那个年代，那个地方，印第安?乔要杀一个小男孩虽然谈不上轻而易举，但绝对不会太困难。因为那个村子也就一个老保安的武装力量，再加上在那里只有做礼拜时才穿鞋。敢试问我们敢吗，回答几乎是相同的：“不敢”，因为我曾看过一个报道：一个网吧门口挂着一条横幅，上面写着：“抓到偷车贼者，奖励现金100元”，原来那家网吧经常有车被偷。但是，抓贼这个天经地义的事非要用物质来奖励?因为现在的人们连看见小偷偷东西都不敢说，要“明哲保身”，怕贼来报复，于是，一到关键时刻，就跑得无影无踪，充分体现了这些人自私、保守、贪婪的陋习。再说，如果每个人都嫉恶如仇、积极参与举报，恶人只能孤军奋战，双拳难敌四手，最终一定会缴械投降，谁还敢当小偷，强盗，杀人犯?

其实，儿童是最天真无邪的。我们在某些方面不妨以儿童为师，把他们的行为当作自己的一面镜子，时刻照照自己，可以不断抹去尘世的喧嚣、抚平心灵的浮躁，让自己始终保持一颗童心，拥有正义感和善良的本性，用真诚的心对待每一个人，不要再那么贪婪、自私了!相信人人都如此，就能创造出更加美好的明天。

汤姆·索亚是一个多面性的人物，他的世界充满阳光和希望。他的经历告诉我们，只要有理想、有快乐，美梦便会成真。终有一天，我们的天性可以自由地发挥，创造出一片人生的晴空，创造出一片属于自己的梦。

《汤姆索亚历险记》的作者是美国的马克吐温，是一本世界少年精选的书，它带给我们一个美好的回忆。书中的主人公汤姆，在作者的描写下一个顽皮的鬼精灵和一个活泼善良又可爱的小男孩。还有夏克，虽然说他是一个野孩子，但是他有一颗善良又不自卑的心理，面对所有大人们的排斥厌恶，但他却用自己最好的一面来对待，从来都没有一点讨厌别人这样说他而感到生气，想要揍别人。而是不理别人怎样说都用平常心来对待，过着无忧无虑自在悠闲的日子，和汤姆一同干出令人捧腹的妙事，如：和汤姆一起找到装金币的箱子，成为了百万富翁。还被道格拉斯收养，成为一个有礼貌的有品质的孩子，而汤姆也做出了许多令人高兴，而又感到担心。伤心的事情。如：离家出走，在法庭上作证等，这些事情真的令读者既感到害怕，又感到非常有趣。

这本书中有着很有趣，也令人心惊肉跳的事情。在《汤姆索亚历险记》中我发现很多的事情，都是要用脑子去想，不要胡乱做一下就可以了，就如老归课一样，老师讲了很多遍，然后问我们听懂了没有，我们说听懂了，可是叫我们做作业时，却一个也做不出来，这是为什么呢?因为我们不懂装懂。所以做任何事都要认真和仔细，更重要的是要用心去做每件事。

I read the book then watched the movie, both of them ga一ve me great shock, I really admire Meggie,she had the courage to use her whole life to love Ralph, never ga一ve up. She believed that she would love Ralph only in her life. But I don’t like Meggie’s attitude to love, Ralph is a Father, and he mustn’t love Meggie, they really loved each other, but they are not destined to be together. So in my opinion I think Meggie should give in, she shouldn’t fight with God, Ralph had told her he would serve God forever, so Meggie wouldn’t win. Maybe giving up is a good choice. Their love is painful.

Frank is my fa一vorite role. he was short but strong ,and he was one of the main labor in his family. Once he escaped from home , but it wassn’t long before his father found him and take him home. I feel so sorry that he had a miserable fate. Frank was different to every man in their home, he loved his mother deeply, and he always helped his mother do the housework. he dreamed to be an outstanding boxer. Frank was considerable, and he always try his best to make Meggie feel happy. As Meggie’s oldest brother, he could be worried about Meggie’s fa一vorite doll, and he even tried to fixed the doll which was distroyed by Meggie’s other brothers. Frank and Meggie would always tell each other what they thought in their deep heart , and they are close friends.

I was so sad when I learned that Frank killed a man and he was sent to the prision. It is really a big shock to Meggie, for Frank was the only one who can listen to Meggie’s secrets. She thought she lost Frank forever. I cannot imagine how painful for Frank to spend dozens years in the prision. He once had good dream about his life, but he had to waste most of his life in prision. In my opinion it was Frank’s father that distoryed his life. His father didn’ t give him freedom, and Frank can’t had strong resistance spirits, and because he didn’t control himself and broke the law.The energitic Frank will never come to us, and he became a man who didn’t wanna talk. He began to be afraid of the world…it is really a pity.

As for Meggie, I think she was a good girl. She was beautiful and smart, but she it was wrong for her to love Ralph. Meggie was an excellent girl, she was able to find an outstanding boy to love her, but she put all her love on Ralph even she married Luke. She married Luke just because Luke looked like Ralph. Meggie wanna be a thorn bird, but I think it was too cruel to her. She was so kind that she shouldn’t stand that king of pain, and I think she was born to ha一ve a happy life. I pity for her.

Both the story of thorn birds and the legend are painful and beautiful, but not every one can be the thorn birds, because it is not our porpose to ha一ve a painful life. We are born to be happy. Olny happiness is the ture meaning of life while the story was written for us to enrich our life. It is a wonderful story.

On summer vacation of this year, I studied in novel " old man and sea " of Hemingway , famous writer of U.S.A. ,. I admire the old fishermans will in the novel very much, he lets me understand that a person must have unremitting spirit, could succeed . 俄国作家奥斯特洛夫斯基的笔下写就一本不朽的名著《钢铁是怎样炼成的》，捧读这本书时，不禁油然而生的是对书中主人公保尔柯察金的崇敬之情，他的坚韧不拔的性格、对待革命真诚的态度、以及英勇无比的勇气都深深地折服了我。

保尔出生在一个贫苦的铁路工人家庭，从小顽皮、天真，有着强烈的抗争精神和不屈的意志，他从一个老师头疼的坏孩子，在朱赫来的引领下，走上了革命的道路。他十分勇敢，有次执行任务遇到危险时，他奋不顾身地从敌人手上将朱赫来解救了，可不幸自己却被捕了。为此，他受到了百般的折磨和严刑拷打，保尔都挺过去了。战场上的保尔更是不惧牺牲，英勇杀敌，屡次受伤，屡立战功。因为右眼失明的原因，保尔离开了心爱的战场，投身到生产建设的队伍中来。条件依然艰苦，他与共青团员们一起，边搞建设，边与寒冷、饥饿的自然环境，以及敌人不时的偷袭作斗争，即使疾病缠身，保尔也轻易不下火线，直至累倒在工地上。在病榻上，保尔想的是尽快回到工地。

奥斯特洛夫斯基作家所刻画的保尔是一位忠心耿耿，时刻忠于党和人民的人，为了革命的胜利，他愿意舍弃自己的生命。这不禁也让我联想起了中国的革命历程，也同样有毛泽东伟人领导下的红军战士，无数的革命先烈，他们不惜抛头颅、洒热血，为了革命的胜利，舍弃了自己宝贵的生命。他们和保尔一样，都是值得尊敬和感恩的英雄。

保尔的坚持不懈精神，不放弃、不服输的坚毅品质，他相信只要持续的努力，革命一定会成功。这样的精神，作为当下，依然是值得学习和推崇的。

细细品读这本书，有不少片段使我深受感动。如列图诺夫师长不幸牺牲时，保尔奋不顾身冲向敌群中拼杀，丝毫没有关注自己的安危，不幸被霰弹击中，甩到马下;在狱里，敌人对他拳打脚踢，他依然守口如铁，他用自己的实际行动来证实是一名优秀的共产主义战士……

保尔是有血有肉的人，他也有我们一样的成长阶段，小时也是一名让老师伤透心的“差学生“，做过不少调皮的事情，还被停过学。在懵懂成长的过程中，他遇到了欣赏他的朱赫来，在他的正确引导下，保尔一步步健康地发展，成长为能为国家做出贡献的人。在我们周围，也有大伙看来调皮的同学，因为不喜欢而远离他们，其实我们不应该疏远和歧视他们，应该帮助他们树立正确的观念，友好相助，关心他们，让他们也成长为受同学们欢迎的人。所以我认为，只要有一个正确的人生方向和引导，每个人都会成功的。

保尔之所以成为钢铁般的人，因为他有目标，并且能为了这个目标不懈的努力。假如你也明白了这些道理，相信你也会百炼成钢。
