The main function of public libraries is to provide books for people to

read.In a library,there are books on different subjects,such as Chinese

history,fine art,science,English literature,and so on.There are also works fo

fiction.

The public libraries are crowded with people on weekdays as well as Sundays

because many people,especially students who want to consult reference books for

their school work,know that they could at least learn something there.

Besides reading in the library,we can also borrow books with library

cards.But books on loan had to be returned within a couple of weeks.As far as I

know the number of people who borrow books from public libraries is increasing

year after year.

I go to the City Hall library twice a month to read.

Tom is my best friend. Who is he? He is a dog. He is a special dog. My

father give him to me at my 10 year birthday. The moment I saw him, I love him.

His fur is white. He is very lovely. He knows how to make me happy. Everyday

when I come back from school, I will play with him. He is also smart. He will

Yesterday, my parents were not home. And I had to stay at home by myself for one day and one night. I was very happy at first, because there wouldnt be anyone criticizes my behavior. peoples. They like to stay up and join many night activities, then they wake up

very late. The new expression of brunch fits them so much, which means the

people to have a meal combining with breakfast and lunch. But their health is

under threat. Some young peoples stomach hurts and cant digest food well. In

order to keep healthy, we need to do some exercise and eat food regularly.

Whats more, the balanced diet is very important, as the saying that an apple a

day, keeps the doctor away, so we need to eat properly. The healthy lifestyle

makes us live happily.

The traffic problem is one of the most serious problems in my hometown.

Recently, more and more people have private car, but the roads are so narrow

For the sake of our life and security, some measures must be taken to
