中学的英语夏令营活动是由来自山西的3名大学生志愿者主持，由本校3名优秀英语教师辅助开展的。这种”1+1”的合作模式有利于优化课程设计，使课程更贴近学生的实际，为此次活动的顺利开展奠定了良好的基础。此次活动的主体是中学初中的百位优秀学生。来自不同年级的学生随机混合组成三个班，这样有利于实施以学生为中心的教学法，使学生相互学习，共同进步。

此次活动的课程设计是由志愿者和本校的教师参考美中教育机构提供的模板，根据当地实际情况精心设计的。志愿者和教师对课程内容灵活操作，将玩与学有机结合，寓教于乐。主体内容有意在提高英语听说读写能力的各种游戏如hot potato、who am i等和意在提高团队凝聚力的music chair、english song等。还有涉及英美文化、利用手势突破发音。此外，老师们还放映了适合初中英语学习的英文电影。志愿者还利用准备的材料和自身特长教给了孩子们一些英语歌曲和舞蹈。总之，此次活动的内容丰富，形式多样，满足了初中生的发展需求。

此次活动中，学生们除了学到英语知识和学习方法外还了解到了现代大学生的生活是什么样的。这些见识增强了学生们对大学的向往，增强了学生们的学习动力和学习兴趣。志愿者和教师的鼓励和关爱帮助孩子们突破心理障碍，树立自信，有利于孩子们的健康成长。

我们通过此次活动，获得了一些宝贵的经验，通过和师生交流也发现了一些问题。这对以后的教学工作和类似的活动的开展都有有益的指导意义。成功的经验是要夯实基础知识，丰富教学形式，引进教学方法，激发学习兴趣，提高学习能力。发现的问题是学生们的英语基础知识薄弱，如不能根据音标识读单词，没能掌握语法基础知识(句子成分，词类等)。在以后的教学工作中，我们要注重基础知识，多给英语老师自主权，让其尽展才华，丰富教学方法。在以后类似活动中，我们应注意立足本校实际情况，同时积极配合志愿者组织安排活动内容。

此次活动总体上是成功的，我们希望以后能有更多类似的活动来丰富学生们的学习生活。

在暑假里，大家一定都会去一些夏令营吧！今天，我也要去一个两天一夜的夏令营。

清早，我隐隐约约听见妈妈在说：“起床啦！去夏令营啦！”以前我总要在床上赖一会儿才起床，今天我却破天荒地一下子坐了起来。穿上衣服，飞快地刷完牙，洗完脸，龙卷风一般扫荡完了早餐，爸爸妈妈把我送到了少年宫。

我们活动居住的是一个叫三山岛的地方，四面环山，环境很美，有高高搭起的葡萄架、有色彩鲜艳的花丛、还有绿油油的蔬菜、还有满地而飞的老母鸡。我们居住的山庄里面有住宿和吃饭的。首先到了地方我们就按老师分配的到宿舍去，我和我的好朋友还有另外两个人住在一起每人一张床。安排好住所我们就开始接下来的活动了。

首先是分组，我们很多人分成两个组。大家互相认识，自我介绍，然后接下来的几天我们这两个组都是有PK赛的，几天下来我们玩了很多好玩的，有烛光晚会、水球大战、同心鼓、CS射击、攀岩等等，其中让我印象最深的就是射击了，我们每个人三支箭，一个个地射击，其中有一个人是我们班的，他第一箭就射进第五环里，真是太厉害了。可是后两箭却不怎么样，轮到我的时候因为心里紧张，不敢去尝试，但是我还是试了一下，第一把没有射到，第二箭呢？我稍微有点勇气，可是没有技巧就打偏了，第三箭我就鼓足了勇气调整了方法，打到了最里面的一环，哇我打中啦！我的朋友也是如此，到了最后我们组得了29分遥遥领先，我心里非常激动，我们居然得了第一名，我兴奋地不得了，我不知道大家怎么想的，反正开心就好……

接下来还举办了烛光晚会。什么节目都有，比如：喜剧、唱歌……其中我比较喜欢的是喜剧《白素贞求爱记》是三个男生演的，其中一个还是演娘娘腔，许仙居然是个贴手机膜的，真是太搞笑了。

在这次夏令营中我还结交了很多新的朋友，同时也学会动手能力例如洗衣服、洗头、梳头、铺床等，虽然很辛苦但让我很有成就感。夏令营真是个快乐又好玩的活动！

This August I went to a two-week long English camp which was held by English Beacon in Yantai city Shandong Province. There were over a hundred middle school students from all over the country and thirty experts in English teaching participating in this exciting camp.

While we were there it was required that we speak only English to our teachers and with each other. There were many activities which were funny and helped us to strengthen our oral English skills such as the Second Annual National Debate for Middle School Studentsthe Third National English Speech Competition for Middle School Students and English parties. We also visited many places of interest. Learning English was exciting and the teachers were very friendly and helpful. This camp was a real life-changing experience that I will never forget.

星期三，青少年宫艺术团组织了一次在夏令营，去路桥金清金泉农庄开展拓展训练活动。

我是艺术团里年龄最小的成员，其他都是五六年级的大哥哥大姐姐，有一些还上初中了。我第一次参加夏令营，别提有多激动了。

我们三十多人组成了“曙光部落”。一到目的地，一位叔叔就带着我们排队来到训练场地。

第一个项目是天罗地网。我们要从一张吊在半空中的大渔网上面走过去，没有什么可以依靠，我稳稳地走了过去。

接下来是翘翘板桥，我们排在一起的三个人慢慢往上走，等到三个人都走过中点，桥“咣当”一下掉了下去，大家

都吓了一大跳，赶紧从桥上跳下来。

然后是轮胎桥，很简单，我一下子就过了。紧接的独木桥有点难，桥又高又窄，我唯一能依靠的只有一根安全带，要小心翼翼地沿过去。最后一座断桥，中间有一米的空隙，要跳过去才行，幸亏我手长，抓住站在对面帮助的叔叔的手，安全跳过去了。

最刺激的项目当然是“高空遛索”。首先要爬上河岸边一座六层梯子的铁架子，站在上面虽然凉快，可是一往下看就晕，太高了，腿都有点发软。叔叔在我的腰上绑了两根绳子，一根是安全带，另一根扣在从上面垂下的遛索上。叔叔让我抓紧绳子跳出。我使劲一跳，人就随着遛索往河对岸滑过去，惊险刺激。

最后玩的是水上漂。河面上铺了很多一块一块的塑料垫，人踩上去会摇摇晃晃，要把握好重心，否则会翻下水去。我尽力踩在板中央，一块一块小心地跳过去，到达河对岸，可惜我的帽子在我跳的时候，不小心掉进了河里，漂走了。

快乐的夏令营结束了，真是一次难忘的活动啊!

Now we are enjoying Huamei English summer Camp of 2010 during the hot summer. We like this camp because it’s very beautiful and there are lots of kind teachers here. Especially we have a lot of fun.

We have different kind of classes in this camp, such as Happy English Classes, Cambridge English & Olympic Math Classes and Foreign Teachers’ Classes. We really enjoy the study of English and maths here.

And we also have variety of interesting activities. Every afternoon we have two hours of activity classes or training classes. We have great fun during these classes.

At this camp, besides study we also enjoy some other activities. We can watch movie, buy snacks in the English shop with the dollar given by teachers as prizes, do English dancing, sing English songs, take part in the English Café and some other parties. They are so wonderful and great!

This is really an amazing summer camp!
