Wednesday July 20th 2005

Today is Wednesday. It’s the third day of the summer camp. The weather isn’t very good. It reined all the time, and the wind blowed strongly. So I don’t feel happy. And the umbrella is too small for two persons my sister and me water always fell down into my shoes, so my feet got wet. It’s uncomfortable. I think it was really a bad day.

Today, we saw two films, but we only saw half of them. Lion King is very interesting. Tomorrow we will finish watching that. I hope this will get a good ending. Also our Chinese teacher changed a lot. I started to listen to his lessons.

This evening, we three taught Cathy about the language in my hometown. We said a word and then she guessed. She is really very clever. She can understand most of me said, and Mr.Zhang told us something about the ways to study English. I don’t agree with him. I think everyone has his (her) own best way to study English, right?

I hope tomorrow it will be sunny and we can travel around Zhejiang University, I hope so.

I have rested for a week. I began to feel bored. So I went out with my

friends. They are my best friends in the middle school. We didn’t go to

someplace special. We just saw the other. We had lunch together. While we were

having lunch, we were still talking about the new school and new friends.

Last week, my friends asked me to spend the weekend in the house that near the lake. It is one of my friends’ house, where their families often spend the holiday together. It was such a happy time that we sung and danced. We talked about our future thoughts. Before we went to bed, we watched movies together and discussed the plot. No sooner had the witer vacation begun than I returned to my native town。 Of course I must make good use of it;。In the morning I reviewed my lessons and read newspapers or magazines。 In the afternoon I played ball games with my friends or went fishing in the river。 At night I watched television with my family。 hardly had the clock on the wall struck ten when I went to bed。

与其说是学英文的书，于我更像是一本“打鸡血”的书。看完了，有种马上去开始背单词的冲动。

总结一下收获：

1 学英语，听说读写互相促进。

2 做好了计划，就要坚持练习。“坚持”是本书的关键词。学语言没有捷径，就说持续地付出，能力才能有所提升。

我觉得作者很善于反思，每次遇到挫折都会去分析背后的原因、自己的心态。我同意她说的“不要让恐惧来为你做决定”。有时候一件事还没开始我们就放弃了，可能就是因为害怕失败的恐惧在作祟。还有她说要像傻子一样去坚持，不要计较是不是能很快看到成效。她也说不要和别人比，因为人外有人，要和昨天的自己比，看今天的自己是不是有进步。这些信念支撑着她一步一步走向了成功。

4 在一个人还没形成良好的学习习惯时，有一个比学赶帮的伙伴，学习效果会更好。

我想我该去反思一下自己面对的问题具体是什么，“英文不够好”究竟是哪里不够好，哪里需要提高?我是不是也有恐惧心态，所以迟迟没有开始行动?接下来制定一个计划，就要坚持做下去。当然计划开始不要太难坚持，不然很快就放弃了。加油，在学英语的道路上继续前进!

First day of losing weight

Today is the first day of my plan of losing weight.This morning , i drunk

only a cup of milk oatmeal as plan,and then i started to studied my english.when

it was 10：00 am, the inner man began to crave the nourishment, i couldnt

concentrate my attention to study， and there fried all kinds of delicious food

in my brain:hamburgers、dumplings、egg fried rice and omelette…… .After ten

minutes strugling，I couldnt help that anymore! I rushed to the kitchen, in

which then i ate whatever that was eatable!After that i finally gave up to lose

weight, thinking that im not that fat to need to go on a diet. Anyway, i should

continue to enjoy delicious food which i think is most beautiful thing in the

world.

老师像往常一样首先带我们复习了前一个单元的内容，紧接着老师让我们一个一个打背书，老师抽查到我背书的时候，我不慌不忙的背起了课文，背完之后，老师还夸我：“不错，不过还要再熟练一点。”

抽查完背诵之后，英语老师就让我们代开书第42页上新的一颗，今天的内容是教我们认识水果，比如苹果用英语说：“apple”、香蕉用英语说：“banana”等！原来这些水果用英语说出来是这么多好听！

今天课堂上老师还让我们同桌之间相互表演课文内容的小对话，我扮演的角色是妈妈，张永祥扮演的是Sarah，我们都很用心地在表演着这段对话，老师站在一旁默默看着我们的表演，对我们做出一副夸赞我们的表情，我当时看着老师心里非常的开心。

其实每一节英语课我都觉得很有趣，也很认真的听老师讲课，我喜欢英语我要好好的学习英语，要像我们束老师一样说一口流利的英语，长大以后能到国外去看看。

Water is the most valuable resource on the earth. Water is the necessity of

our life and we must drink it everyday.Now, many people can not drink clear

water, because many of them are badly polluted. So, in order to save water, the

first thing we should do is reduce water pollution. In addition, we should

develop good habits to save water. For example, turn off the tap after we use.

Or we should recycle the water to make it full use. In one word, water is scarce

for all of us and we should try our best to save it.

我一天的学习生活 My School Day

I get up at six in the morning. Then I wash my face and brush my teeth.

After a quick breakfast, I go to school in my mothers car. It takes us more

than half an hour to get there.

我早晨六点起床，然后我洗脸、刷牙。匆匆吃完早饭，我坐妈妈的车上学。我们要用半个多小时才能到达学校。

We have four hour classes in the morning. I have lunch at my grandparents,

because their home is nearer to my school.

After two classes in the afternoon, school is over. Then we clean our

classroom.

I havent write diaries for a period of time. I am now writing this just want to remember one thing. My study has fallen behind a lot this term. I can keep my score in the top ten in the whole school ranking before. But this term I fall behind. I nearly draw back to fifty. I know the reason is because I am too arrogant. I think I can be the best without studying hard. So I usually not pay too much attention on my study. When I find myself lag behind, I comfort myself it is accident. Today， I did housework for grandmother. She is not

very healthy and I decide to do housework for her more frequently. And she will

again， I make a decision to be a good girl.

I got up early at half past six. I read English and then had breakfast. I
