My name is Simon. Im 24 years old now. Im from Changsha University. I

major in English, because I have the gift for language study.

In my opinion, English is well-known all around the world. If I can speak

excellent English, I could travel to everywhere in the world without language

barriers. Now I can speak English like an American. Most of my classmates always

envy my oral English.

I like traveling very much. Through traveling, I can widen my perspective

and know more about our world. Now I have been to so many cities, such as

Guangzhou, Zhuhai, and Zhongshan. These cities are nice, clean and modern.

I think Im easy-going and hard-working. When Im at work, I always try my

best to do everything well. I never let others do anything that I can do, and I

never put off todays work to tomorrow. When you have difficulties, I’m eager to

give you a hand if Im able to. I hope I can be your best friend.

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11

oclock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next

I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on

playing till 2 oclock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day

of my winter vacation.

But I havent bored all the time. Sometimes I read the books, sometime I

listen to the music or the radio in the bed, because it was very cold outside

and snowy all the day. And I also meat some of my good friends during the

vacation, we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year

and play table tennis tegether. And I watched the spring festival party of the

CCTV in the last seconds of the 2004 year! I think this is the thing most people

of china doing at that time.

Thats all, all my dull, coldly and snowy winter vacation.

我的妈妈有一头长长的卷发，大大的眼睛，高高的个子。妈妈平时总是风风火火，说话干脆利落，对我也是一早到晚催着“快点、快点”。

双休日早上醒来，6：40分，离我起床时间7：00还有一段时间，可妈妈就来不及似的催促我起床：“都几点了，还不快点起床，上课要迟到了。快点穿衣服，可千万别着凉了”。

中午吃饭，我学着老爸的样子，边看报纸边吃饭，妈妈的“快点”又在我耳边响起：“还不快点吃饭，吃好饭做作业！”，“你那”鸡爪“又没洗过，还不快点去洗！”。

吃好饭，我才刚刚休息一会儿，可妈妈跟我作对似的：“作业还没做完，还不快点做作业！”，我只好乖乖地去做作业，不然妈妈会一直唠叨着。

晚上，8：30还没到，妈妈就叫我：“快点洗脸刷牙、上床睡觉，睡眠要充足，明天头脑才清醒”。我被催着上床了。

虽然我讨厌妈妈的“快点”生活，但是，我知道妈妈是为了我好。如果从小养成慢悠悠的习惯，那长大了再改正这个坏习惯那可就来不及了。

妈妈为我操碎了心，我一定不会辜负妈妈对我的期望，我会努力学习，天天向上。

I was a shy girl and I never dared to make performance in the public, but

everything will have the exception. Last week, our English teacher gave us a

job. All students needed to make performance in group. I was chosen to be the

protagonist in my team. At first, I told them that I couldn’t make it, but they

Im glad youll come to Beijing to learn Chinese. Chinese is very useful, and many foreigners are learning it now. Its difficult for you because its quite different from English. 快乐的周末 A Happy Weekend

I have a happy weekend!Take lessons on Saturday, Im going to cram school,

tutoring English and maths. In the afternoon, I watch TV at home. In the
