Sports do us good in many respects.It goes without saying that taking exercises can build up our physical strength. In collective sports like basketball, volleyball, or football, we will learn the importance of cooperation. While taking part in sports game, we will try our best to win and arouse ourselves the competitive spirit. Sports can also help us relax after a period of exhausting work. However, as the saying goes, "there are two sides to everything", and sports is without exception. We may hurt other players or ourselves if we are not careful enough when participating in sports activities. Whats more, excessive or severe training can do harm to our health.

My participation in sports tells me that sports can make us healthy both physically and psychologically. It is also a good way for people to know each other and can promote friendship between people. So long as we are carefully enough, sports can do us nothing but good.

Knowledge can be acquired from many sources. These include books, teachers

and practical experience, and each has its own advantages. The knowledge we gain

from books and formal education enables us to learn about things that we have no

opportunity to experience in daily life. We can study all the places in the

world and learn from people we will never meet in our lifetime, just by reading

about them in books. We can also develop our analytical skills and learn how to

view and interpret the world around us in different ways. Furthermore, we can

learn from the past by reading books. In this way, we won’t repeat the mistakes

of others and can build on their achievements.

Practical experience, on the other hand, can give us more useful knowledge.

It is said that one learns best by doing, and I believe that this is true,

whether one is successful or not. In fact, I think making mistakes is the best

way to learn. Moreover, if one wants to make new advances, it is necessary to

act. Innovations do not come about through reading but through experimentation.

Finally, one can apply the skills and insights gained through the study of books

to practical experience, making an already meaningful experience more

meaningful. However, unless it is applied to real experiences, book knowledge

remains theoretical and, in the end, is useless. That is why I believe that

knowledge gained from practical experience is more important than that acquired

from books.

people believe that sports can offer people health and pleasure. As far as I

concern, I think doing physical exercises have lots of advantages.

Aerobic exercise is a series of activities which can improve our heart-lung function by maintaining longer, including running, bicycling, swimming and so on. It brings a lot of benefits to our body and psychology.

And it improves fat consumption and metabolism, which lay a solid foundation for disease prevention. Meanwhile, it helps keep our body in a good shape by consuming the overfull calories.生理上，做些有氧运动可以提高我们身体健康，减少我们的痛苦。做有氧运动可增加心肺的伸缩，以提高心肺功能，有益于抵御长期的劳作和加班带来的压力。它还能促进脂肪的消耗，促进新陈代谢，预防疾病。同时，有氧运动还能消耗多余热量，有益于保持良好体型。Psychologically, acting aerobic exercise also conduces to our psychological health. We are able to be more confident and positive that we have capacity of doing something at the best, just like finishing our plans or achieving our destinations in exercise. My summer vacation life is happy, rich and memorable experience. Because, in the summer vacation with my mother took me to a beautiful environment the universiade cultural park to play ah, elder sister took me to eat roast wing, brother to accompany me to play chess, and young aunt, aunt to accompany me to play CARDS, play chess, I am more than happy!

In this summer holiday, I didnt go to any computer classes. But, do homework, read, self-study "new concept English" are all I have to do every day. Sometimes I will play badminton, cycling, watch TV, play computer, help my mother do some housework within our capabilities. I also see a lot of books, learned a lot of knowledge, also learned a lot of sense.

我的暑假生活是快乐、丰富而又难忘的。因为，暑假里有妈妈带我去环境优美大运文化园玩呀，姐姐带我去吃烤翅，哥哥陪我下棋、还有小姨和姑姑陪我打牌、下棋呢，我多开心啊!

在这个暑假里，我虽然没有去参加什么兴趣班。但是，写作业、阅读、自学《新概念英语》都是我每天必须做的事情。我有时候也会打羽毛球、骑自行车、看电视、玩电脑、帮妈妈做一些力所能及的家务事。我还看了好多书，学到了好多知识，也懂得了好多道理。

在大运会期间，我以实际行动参与到志愿者服务当中，到不同的U站去参加和体验不同的活动，我还到地下停车场去宣传“绿色出行”。还能出色地完成了任务，你没想到吧，我很快就找到5名车主，同意在大运期间停开、或者不开车的签名，我作为一名大运会的小主人，我能为大运出一份力，我是多么的自豪啊!

所以说，我今年的暑假生活，与往年的相比，确实是不一样的感觉，不一样的精彩啊!

“叮铃铃……”上课铃声响了，一个靓丽的身影闪进了教室，她就是我们的老师，还是我的班主任。

她不但身材婀娜多姿，长得皓齿内鲜，明眸善睐的，名字听着也好听，叫乌云塔娜。她是蒙古族人。她的个子虽然稍矮一些，可在我的心目中却无比的高大。

如往常一样，小组报告作业，然后由老师一个个教训。我们拿出昨天留的作业，老师又一张张展示在讲台上、判分。不愧是班长，语文和数学卷子都对了，英语也是满分，我羡慕不已。老师把我的卷子拿过去审阅，作文每次写的都不错的我，这次竟然也像吃错药了似的作文的条件不够好，老师严肃地对我说：“姜惠文，你偷懒了吧？多背范文！”一句斩钉截铁的话，吓得我有个地缝都能转进去，我苦笑了一下算是默认了。老师开始讲课，可是，总有几个同学不注意听讲，要么偷偷地闲聊，再不就是看课外书。老师的脸顿时冷若冰霜，仍耐住性子说：“请注意，我在给你们讲课，能尊重一下您自己吗？”教室里一下鸦雀无声。

我的老师就是这样，和我们有时如春天般的温暖，有时冷若冰霜。有时惹得她狂风骤起，一会又风平浪静。有时被学生气的泪水涟涟，有时和我们兴高采烈地。我们和老师就在这阴晴之间，走过了一天又一天。无论怎么样，老师对我们的辛苦付出是有目共睹的。还有半年我们就要升入初中了，我更加珍惜这段时光，和老师共同度过，留下美好的记忆。在此向老师道一声：“亲爱的老师，您辛苦了！”

We have recently held a class meeting to discuss the pressure upon everyone of us Senior Three students. At the meeting everyone expressed their own opinions on how to get relieved from pressure.

Pressure comes from all around: from the heavy load of learning, from the fierce competition, from teachers, and from parents. Pressure may affect our studies if there’s too much of it. However, if taken positively, a certain amount of pressure may help push us ahead.

Whenever I find there’s too much pressure, I choose to work out or listen to some light music, which seems to be quite effective. There are many approaches to getting oneself relieved when pressure accumulates. I strongly recommend that when you feel much too stressed, you stop whatever you are doing, get out into the open, take a deep breath, and start thinking of something positive.

Travel is a very good means of broadening a person39s perspective.Travel

may relieve a person of boredom and gloom. Travelers can choose differentmodes

of transportation which have advantage s and disadvantages. Travel is avery good

means of broadening a person39s perspective. It makes you come intocontact with

different cultures， meet people of different colors and go through peculiarrites
