During a long vacation, I usually like to go to see the exhibits in one of a great many museums. Such as the art museum, the history museum, the museum of natural history, and the museum of science and technology. Many wonderful things are cared for in museums. After school life my biggest hobby is watching books.

小时候，我就养成了看课外书的习惯，什么《科学家的故事》、《365夜故事》、《孔子》等等，我都看过。我从《科学家的故事》书里，知道了飞机是“莱特兄弟”发明的，从《孔子》的故事里，知道了孔子小时候家里很穷，可孔子认真学习，成了中国伟大的思想家。

有一次，妈妈叫我吃早饭，我说“马上就来”，但是我的眼睛一直在看《十万个为什么》的故事书上，妈妈催了我好几次，一直到我将一个故事看完，我才放下书，去吃早饭时，发现已经十二点了，该吃午饭了。

我还从课外书中学到了许多好词好句，比如“身轻如燕”、“喜气洋洋”、“肥头大耳”、“丢三落四”、“大花脸、招风耳”、“我长着两个细长的眉毛，就像两个倒下来的小括号”等等。丰富了我的词汇，我现在终于明白了看书的好处。

就这样，看书成了我生活中不可缺少的一部分。
