Nowadays, there are many kinds of activities for people entertaining in their leisure time, especially in holiday, such as climbing a mountain, having a picnic, holding a party and so on. However, these recreational activities have its advantages but also bring some harmful influences to people’s lives.

First, to some extent, these recreational activities enrich people’s lives. Those who take part in different activities will not be easy to feel lonely or boring in their leisure time and live wonderful lives instead. Our bus stopped at Stanford university, and I saw an antique building. All the way forward, the building that was built of stone, though made of stone, was built very fine, with different patterns engraved on it. It was then that I was attracted by a church building, whose metope was a beautiful picture of more than 20,000 pieces of Mosaic, which is the memorial church of Stanford university. At Stanford, there is no lack of sophistication, and even the flowers and plants are so finely manicured that, on a large lawn, the flowers and plants are pruned into a big Stanford university logo.

At Stanford, one hour at a time, we had to be reluctant to say goodbye to her. This famous university has given me so much hope that I can go to this university when I grow up.
