有一天，屈原听说楚国快要灭亡了，非常伤心，心想：连国家都灭亡了，我还活着有什么用?想到这里，他抱起石头跳进了汩罗江。

这一天是五月初五，人们伤心极了，他们把米扔入江里，让鱼吃米，不吃屈原，并且奋力划船去河里找屈原。
