“奶奶，今天学的单词，我下节课要抽背的哦。”在下课前，我对奶奶提出了要求。“好的，我会认真复习的。”奶奶说。

就这样，一节有趣的英语课结束了。从中我不仅感受到了当老师的快乐，还体会到了生活的乐趣。

“百里不同风，千里不同风。”每个地方的每户家庭都有不同的特色。我知道别的地方是吃棕子和赛龙舟的，我们这儿不赛龙舟，但我们吃粽子和鸭蛋。我非常喜欢吃棕子和鸭蛋。

端午节前我们把材料准备好。我的妈妈和爸爸去山上摘棕叶，再摘像扇子一样合并的棕绳，回家后，爸爸把像扇子一样合并的棕绳撕出来，挂在那里，和棕叶挂在一起备用。妈妈先把棕叶和棕绳放在锅里煮一煮，煮久了再拿出来备用，我们还要弄棕子馅。把红豆放在风炉里煮一会儿，烧好之后，还要把红豆放在锅里烧过，烧久了之后，会有一些软，再把烧好的红豆捣成泥搓成小球，再加一些白糖就好了。

接下来就可以包棕子了，这是我最开心的时候。首先拿两片棕叶，把它卷起一点包起来，再抓一把糯米，糯米是前一天用水泡过的，再放一个棕馅，再抓一小把大米，把它包起来，最后用棕绳捆起来，这样就包好了。我们也包棕子馅是肉或者枣子的棕子。

把棕子包好后，还要煮棕子。把锅里面倒上水，再一个一个放到锅里面，先是用大火煮，差不多就改小火，如果一直用大火的话，那糯米就会像不听话的小孩一样，从边角上跑出来。馋得我呀!

我包得棕子比较小，所以大多都是我自己做，自己吃。要是棕叶有破损的地方，我就会拿过来玩，之前，我还拿沙子来包棕子呢，再找几个小伙伴一起玩过家家，可有意思了。

我喜欢包粽子，真的很有趣!

每年农历的5月5日我们都会吃粽子、赛龙舟、插艾叶、带香囊。每逢过端午节，人们都会把房子打扫的干干净净，在厨房里洒上雄黄水，用来杀死毒虫或防止毒虫滋生。插上艾叶和配带香囊也有灭虫驱鬼的说法，以艾叶“悬于户上，可攘毒气。”

传说，端午节是纪念爱国大诗人屈原的日子。屈原是战国时期的楚国人，那时屈原22岁就当了大夫，在楚怀王面前，楚怀王非常信任他。不久，楚国的大奸臣看屈原不顺眼，于是就不断的在楚怀王面前说屈原的坏话，楚怀王听了谗言，不再相信屈原了。过了几天秦国的人把楚怀王骗走后，把他软禁在那里，没多久，他就死了。楚怀王死后，他的儿子继成了王位称为楚襄王，楚襄王就把屈原赶到江南地区，当时他怀着悲痛的心情写下了 《 天问》 、《九章》 、《离骚》 这三首诗，写完后就跳入了汨罗江。相传龙舟竞渡是为了拯救投汨罗江而死的爱国大诗人屈原，把粽子投入江河是为了让鱼虾蛟蟹吃饱了，不再去吃屈原的尸体。
