在我家门前的湖里有许多的螺蛳。我只知道螺蛳是没有眼睛和嘴巴的，是靠头顶上两根长长的触须吃东西的，是伸出身子，背着壳慢慢爬行的，跟蜗牛走路差不多。夏天早晨螺蛳都会爬到湖边的石板上，人们只要稍一伸手就能摸到一大把的螺蛳。妈妈经常会捉螺蛳来吃，可是怕螺蛳不干净，就把螺蛳养在大缸里，养干净了再吃。

今天中午，我正在二楼上网，妈妈叫我下去，说是有一件我没见过的事情。

我怀着好奇心来到楼下，看到妈妈站在水缸边，心里想：水缸里只养着螺蛳，有什么我没见过的事情呢?于是，我就问妈妈：“妈妈，有什么我没见过的事情啊。”妈妈说：“快来看，螺蛳在游泳呢!”我走上前去，看见水缸里有三个螺蛳在游泳。
