Thanksgiving Day falls on the fourth Thursday of November every year. It is

the most truly American of the national Holidays in the United States. It is a

time for sharing. In the United States, it is their tradition that family

members get together for a reunion to have a traditional big dinner. On the

dinner table, people will find apples, oranges, chestnuts, walnuts and grapes.

There will be plum pudding, mince pie, other varieties of food and cranberry

juice and squash. The best and most attractive among them are roast turkey and

matched. The picture shows that a young lady sitting on the seat of a bus. But

it is strange that an old lady sits on the leg of the young lady, which there

are still many empty seats on the bus. I am totally moved after reading this

news. The old lady is the mother of the young lady. The old lady had some

problem with her back and leg that she couldn’t sit independently. And her

daughter does not want to see her mother stand on the bus in such an old lady,

so I see situation on the picture. Having read this, my eyes become wet. When we

are young, our mother will often carry us if there is any inconvenient, but when

our mother gets old, we seldom carry her.

The ancients had a saying: dripping, the smallest favor. In this world,

there are many people who grace to us. Our parents are the two people who give

us most grace. When we grow up, we need to say our thanks to them. As far as I

am concerned, thanks the people do good to us, especially our parents should be

Thanksgiving, or Thanksgiving Day, is coming. Its a traditional North

American holiday,and is a form of harvest festival. In the United States, the

fourth Thursday in November is called Thanksgiving Day. Thanksgiving was about

the Pilgrims, the first settlers in America. They shared the first harvest with

the Indians and gave thanks.

Thanksgiving Day is usually a family day. People always celebrate with big

(一)开始部分

在背景音乐《烛光里的妈妈》中，主持人致开场词，并引入主题——《拥抱亲情，感恩父母》。

第一环节 回顾篇——走近亲情

1.追寻成长的足迹

(1)欣赏歌曲《父亲》、《母亲》，并课件出示一组家庭生活图片，让学生思考感悟。

(2)学生谈由图片和歌曲获得的感受和体会：“你想到了什么”?

(3)在你成长的历程中，父母已把点点滴滴的血泪之爱融入了你的每一寸肌肤，而这些，或许你并未曾用心留意过，那么，请同学们用90秒静静回想，父母对你关爱。

(4)用一颗感恩的心来描述父母对你的爱。

2.父母写真：

(1)父母为子女操碎了心，而他们却一天天地老去。你了解自己的父母吗?你关注过父母的变化吗?

(2)以《爸爸(妈妈)》的_________为题，说说自己眼中的父母。

我的爸爸是个工作狂，经常要很晚才能回家，虽然他陪我的时间不像妈妈那么多，但他也很关心我。每逢周末，爸爸就会烧一桌可口的饭菜给我们吃，我吃得津津有味。爸爸还经常帮我完成课件，因为有了爸爸的参与，我总能受到老师的表扬。爸爸还带我出去旅游，让我去看看祖国的壮丽河山，增长知识。

在我的人生经历中，要感谢许许多多的人，其中我最想感谢的是我的妈妈。

妈妈是一位白衣天使，她长着一双炯炯有神的大眼睛，高高的鼻梁，薄薄的嘴唇，扎着一条乌黑的马尾辫，笑的时候嘴边会露出两个浅浅的小酒窝。在我的心中，她是世界上最美的妈妈。

妈妈非常勤劳。每天早晨六点，当别人还在睡梦中的时候，她就早早起了床，为我们全家准备可口的饭菜。让我吃得饱饱的去上学，从来没有在学校饥饿过，从而保证了我上课能认真听讲，取得好成绩。每到妈妈歇班的时候，她就在家里打扫卫生、洗衣服，忙碌极了。我有时问她：“妈妈，你累不累，快歇歇吧。”她总是说：“不累，只要我的儿子学习好，再累也值得。”听到这些，我十分感动。

In autumn, a father took his son to a small tree. He measured his son and knocked in a nail as a mark. He hoped the boy could go taller in the next year. In winter, Its snowed very hard. However, the nail was still in trunk of tree all the time. Spring came, and the small tree grew stronger. Father brought his son to the tree again.
