我们渐渐的长大，我们要面对越来越多的问题，有些问题我们能够想的更加清楚和透彻。我们在成长那是一个事实。

I have made a lot of new friends. I am sure college friendships will be among the most satisfying and long-term in my life. Its always exciting to discover how wonderfully diverse college relationships can be.

I am enjoying my newfound freedom. Stay up until dawn talking about my ideals and ambitions with my dorms regular bull session buddies. Sleep in until the afternoon on a light class day. Explore the local town or suburbs with one or two of my new friends.

I even start to think about my future. Going to college is as much about finding out who am I as it is about getting the degree.

These courses arouse my insatiable desire for knowledge and make me learn and digest as much as I can. To be frank, I had some difficulties in keeping up with my teachers at first, but later with the help of my teachers, I made remarkable progress. Learning is a long process, and I will continue to be a learner throughout my life.

Besides, social activities on campus provide me with more chances to learn. I will never forget the days I served as a volunteer at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. After some training in Chinese history and language skills both in Japanese and English, I endeavored to serve our distinguished guests from all over the world enthusiastically. I was a volunteer as well as a disseminator of our splendid culture. There was no doubt that I came across many difficulties at first, such as humid weather, language barriers and so on. Thanks to other volunteers’ help, I overcame those difficulties. When it was time to depart, I couldn’t help bursting into tears, because I had developed a deep friendship with other volunteers. This precious experience made me aware of the huge responsibility on my shoulders. Just as the old saying goes, “we make a living by what we get, and we make a life by what we give.”

In my opinion, university life has been the most splendid time in my life so far, and many students cherish this period of time and hope that in the future they may become outstanding members of society. But there are also some ignorant students who get together every day only to eat, drink, play computer games or date. They completely forget their mission as a college student and their responsibility to their family to do their best in school.

I want to say that although there are lots of difficulties or setbacks during our college days, we should set our goals and achieve them. I do hope we can try our best to become productive citizens of the country and make great contributions to the nation.

The story of Thanksgiving is basically the story of the Pilgrims and their thankful community feast at Plymouth, Massachusetts.

The Pilgrims, who set sail from Plymouth, England on a ship called the Mayflower on September 6, 1620, were fortune hunters, bound for the resourceful New World. The Mayflower was a small ship crowded with men, women and children, besides the sailors on board. Aboard were passengers comprising the separatists, who called themselves the "Saints", and others, whom the separatists called the "Strangers".

After land was sighted in November following 66 days of a lethal voyage, a meeting was held and an agreement of truce was worked out. It was called the Mayflower Compact. The agreement guaranteed equality among the members of the two groups. They merged together to be recognized as the "Pilgrims." They elected John Carver as their first governor.

Yesterday is my six-year-old birthday. It is important to me as I can go to

primary school after my birthday. It means that I grow up. I got up very early

at that day. My mother just smiled at me and said nothing. I felt a little down.

But I recovered with excited soon and then I went out to play. Everything in my

eyes is so beautiful. When I got home about five o’clock, my mother gave me a

surprise. She prepared a party for me and invited all my friends. She also gave

(指四名同学详细汇报交流与老师之间发生的感动的事，每人发言3到4分钟，师对每人发言后进行点评)

主持乙：同学们谈起自己的老师都心怀感激，其实我们老师就是通过这些方方面面、点点滴滴的小事去关心你，关心着你的学习，关心着你的生活，让每一个学生都能身心健康的成长。老师们以灵魂的芳香熏陶着我们，既是你的良师，又是你的益友，同时又如你的慈母。她们的爱如阳光一般的温暖，如春风一般的和煦，如清泉一般的甘甜，但当她和孩子共处危险时，她们能勇敢地舍弃自己的生命，把生的希望让给孩子，让师爱超越一切。请看一段视频。

某同学：我是一个缺少温暖的女孩子，平时很少与人交谈，更多的时候是静静地想，呆呆地看。其实，我也特别想得到关心和爱护。渐渐地我学会了理解，认识人与人之间的那份真情。记得那是一个深秋的早晨，天很凉，上第二节课时我觉得浑身发抖，胃像刀割一样地疼。我想忍着，但是实在忍不住，泪水终于流了出来。这一切，被正在讲课的老师看见了，她急忙走过来，亲切地问：“你怎么了?”老师明白我的病情后，把我扶到办公室，给我倒开水，为我找药，看我发抖，还把身上的大衣脱下来给我披上。这时办公室里的其他老师也纷纷走过来，那关切的目光，温暖的话语令我好感动。这件事在我孤寂幼小的心灵点燃了爱的火花，让我感受到生活的美好，师爱无价。

主持甲：一首小诗道出了我们的感恩之心。老师，您是一支蜡烛，照亮我人生的方向，燃尽最后的烛光，却处处为我着想。您是一支蜡烛，点燃我人生的灯光，燃尽最后的光芒，也不肯松懈一下。感恩老师，不应该挂在嘴边上，应落实到实际行动中最后同学们为老师制作一张贺卡，同时可在上面写上一句祝福老师的话，也可写上一句感激的话。送给老师们。

主持甲：礼物虽小，但代表的是我们的感激之情，热爱之心。老师，您教会我们人生的第一首乐曲，您奏响我们人生的第一乐章，您永远是我们心中那永不落的太阳。让我们为您祝福。
