Here is a difference between science and technology.Science is a method of

answering theoretical questions; technology is a method of solving practical

problems. Science has to do with discovering the facts and relationships between

general, not merely some people; and future generations, not merely those who

presently wish to gain advantage for themselves.

We are all familiar with the abuses of technology. Many people blame

technology itself for widespread pollution, resource depletion and even social

decay in general--so much so that the promise of technology is obscured. That

promise is a cleaner and healthier world. If wise applications of science and

technology do not lead to a better world, what else will?

我们还去了海象城堡和海狮剧场，看了海象和海狮精彩的表演。我觉得海象和海狮长得差不多，就像双胞胎兄弟，只不过海象多了两根常常的像刀一样的牙齿。

我们来到企鹅世界。一进去，我就感觉寒风透骨，冻得我缩成一团，妈妈赶紧拿出很厚的衣服给我穿上，我感觉自己真是来到了南极的冰川世界。在这里，我看见无数的企鹅，它们摇动着胖嘟嘟的身躯在陆地上围着饲养员抢鱼吃。那笨重的样子真可爱!

不过，企鹅跳进水里，一下子就变得灵活起来。它们在水里就像雕翎箭一样，一会儿冲出水面，一会儿钻进水底，游泳的时候它不断地摆动尾巴就可以在水里跳舞。我很喜欢企鹅。

我们还去了北极熊村庄，水獭之家，看了海洋奇观，跟白鲸来了个零距离接触。

这次海洋王国之旅真是有趣极了!

今年的春节，我过得太完美了!

走进校园，就与扑面而来的春风撞了个满怀。春日，好明媚!心情，好舒畅!

不邀伙伴，也不带任何东西，我独自一个带着满怀的好心情，哼着小曲，漫步在学校的操场上。此时偌大的操场空无一人，已没有了平日里下课时的喧嚣，静静的。地上由于刚下过雨的缘略微有几分潮湿。操场周围的树在一场雨后显得更加挺拔，舒展着嫩绿的树叶。操场边的石凳湿漉漉的，用手抹过去，一手的雨水!我在操场上小跑起来，地面发出“咯叽咯叽”的声音。

记得12月31号为了亲眼见证新年伊始而熬夜，搞得我第二天无精打采的。于是，我决定，用特别的方式迎接新年的到来，是哪种特别的方式呢?对了——冬泳!

下午，我拿着泳具前往迎宾馆。今天貌似不算太冷，嗯，就算稍微有点冷也没问题，水是恒温的。走进建筑内部，人并没有我想象的那样少，但也没有太多，但来的有些早，总体还是比较安静。

换好衣服，我走进浸脚池。嘶——好冷!看来，我需要慢点下水，适应适应了。但之后我就改变了这种看法，游泳池的水根本就是温的!带上泳镜，潜到水底去，水质不算太清澈，但还能看见。我抬起头，望见老爸来了。然后就开始游泳了，时而奋力游泳，时而在池边歇息。

The environment has been polluted badly today and the nature punishes the

human being by all kinds of disasters, such as the heavy haze in Beijing, which

damages people’s health. World Environment Day is on June 5th. It pays attention

to call for the public to make an effort to bring the world a clean

environment.

Look at the pollution around us, which exists everywhere. The cars release

the gas which pollutes the air and the rubbish can be found in every corner of

我们沿着羊肠小道拾级而上，来到了望景楼，举目眺望，楼南檐角飞翔，好像振翅欲飞的燕雀。楼西是一池荷塘，荷叶碧绿碧绿的，层层叠叠地倒伏着。看着这些荷叶，我好像看见不久的将来，粉红的荷花临风飘举，对每一位顾客都报以热情的微笑。楼东是硕大的草坪，冬末，半黄半绿的细草更像一块毛茸茸的地毯。楼北是一个清澈见底的石鹤池。池里的仙鹤千姿百态，栩栩如生：有的要展翅欲飞，有的在低头戏水，有的像在引吭高歌，有的则在回头遥望，轻轻梳理着自己洁白的羽毛。

在石鹤池的右边，有两条披着金装的石龙，张大着嘴，挥舞前爪，好像在争夺中间的龙珠。这大概就是所谓的双龙戏珠吧!

啊，故乡的公园，您是故乡的一颗灿烂明珠，您像一幅绚丽多姿的图画，正描绘着祖国美好的明天!

我有一个邻居爷爷，他早已年过花甲，岁月悄无声息地染白他的头发，饱经风霜的脸上，爬满了深深浅浅的皱纹。因为他以前是一名建筑工人，经常会喊号子，所以他的嗓门特别大。

这位爷爷有两个在北京读大学的孙女，每次上街买菜，只要碰到孙女爱吃的东西，他总会买一大堆回来。一部分寄给北京的孙女们，一部分送来给我。他每次都会找同一个借口：“亲戚送的，爷爷吃不完，就送给妹妹吧!”

“咚，咚，咚……”邻居爷爷又来送好吃的啦!每当我听到这个熟悉的敲门声时。我都会飞快地放下笔，奔向门口为邻居爷爷开门。我一边开门一边想：爷爷又会给我送些什么来呢?是零食吗?是水果吗?只要一开门，我总能见到邻居爷爷那张饱经风霜的脸，他总会双手托着给我的东西，咧开嘴笑着。邻居爷爷就是这样热情、大方，他几乎把我当做了自己的亲孙女。

邻居爷爷不仅热情、大方，嗓门还特别大!老年人都喜欢和朋友一起聊聊时事政治或打麻将，可他总喜欢与我的爷爷，还有其他邻居一起斗地主。在一楼的休闲大厅里，总能听到他们两个“大嗓门”为了上一局的牌，哪里哪里没有出对，讨论得热火朝天。不知道的路人还以为他俩在吵架呢!打听打听才知道，其实他们俩特别要好。这两位“大喇叭”只要一合体，那声音震耳欲聋!比麦克风的声音还要大。每当他们争论时，4、5楼的住户都会开个窗户向下吼道：“老爷子，声音小点!”可他们似乎打开了“自动屏蔽罩”，丝毫没听到，聊得走火入魔，他们俩已经成了我们8号楼有名的“大喇叭”了。

我的邻居爷爷，热情大方、“大嗓门”，俗话说得好：“远亲不如近邻。”遇见他真是我的幸运!

记得去年9月10日，为了庆祝教师节，我班决定每人出一点钱，给老师一个特大的惊喜。

那天中午，尽管天还下着瓢泼大雨，但同学们还是早早地来到了学校。同学们都在抓紧时间布置教室。瞧，小朋友把气球口含在嘴里，使出全身力气吹，脸都涨得圆鼓鼓、红通通，样子真逗人;小刚正在钉花呢，他右手拿着木棍，左手拿着塑料花，用木棍使劲锤着钉子，热得汗流满面。看到同学们干得热火朝天，我也迫不及待加入他们的行列中。

我和几个女同学把五颜六色的蜡光纸剪碎，我们打算把这些碎纸片装进气球里。可是说来容易做来难，那气球口小得不能再小，本以为一个人可以做的，工作要两三个人才能做好。小红把大拇指伸进气球里，费了九牛二虎之力才把气球口拉大，我抓了一些碎纸片想把纸片塞进气球里，可气球偏偏不给面子，把纸片卡在中间，怎么也不肯下去，我和小羽费了好大力气才把纸屑捅下去。我想：真是比我想像中的难得多啊!小小的气球，没想到这样“倔强”。做完几个特殊气球，我们已经是汗流颊背了。

大家又把布置黑板的任务交给了我。我叫两个男同学把气球粘在黑板边沿，我自己就在下面贴花。我把五颜六色的塑料花并排贴在黑板上，还把心形的卡片围成一圈贴在黑板上，到最关键的地方了，我用彩色粉笔在中间写上“教师节快乐”几个大字，教室已经布置好了!看着焕然一新的教室，我想，老师见了一定很高兴吧!

老师来了――激动人心的时刻来了!老师一走进教室，躲在墙壁后面的小雯和小静立刻跳出来，拿着喷桶，对准老师，老师还来不及躲，就被“射”中了。老师浑身上下沾满了彩带，像一个小丑，弄得大家都笑得前俯后仰。躲在墙壁后的小远本来想在老师进门时把装着纸屑的气球扎破，没想到气球要跟他作对似的，一碰到木棍，气球又飘到另一边，我们都笑得肚子疼了。

“哈哈哈……”这欢乐的笑声缭绕在校园上空……

西方有哲人言：再微弱的光，也是刺向黑暗的剑。每个人的力量都是那微弱的光，我们遵规守矩散发出的光一经汇集，就会形成巨大无比的力量。 There is a philosopher in the West: No matter how weak light is, it is also a sword that stabs to the dark.Everyones power is that weak light. Once we gather the light emitted by the rules, we will form a huge power.

溪流遵循了大海"有容乃大"的规则，才拥入碧波蔚蓝的沧海;山峰浸润了“无欲则刚”的规则，才有了壁立千仞的雄奇;雄鹰知晓“天高任鸟飞”的规则，才成就了“欲与天公试比高”的翱翔。遵守良好的规则，方可彰显力量。

纵观历史，秦统一六国，怎能离开严厉的规则;唐的昌盛，又何曾不是依靠完善的规则。唐太宗任人唯贤，虚心纳谏，严于律己，遵守规则，知错就改。才有了李世民携百官开辟了”贞观盛世“，把唐朝带入了一个开明繁荣的时代!足见守规则力量之大。

孟子说：“不以规矩，无以成方圆。”若世上没有规则，便会成为一盘散沙，国有国法、家有家规、校有校纪，正是因为有了规则，国家才能强大，家庭才能和睦，学校才能安然有序。周恩来总理有一次派人去图书馆借书，因按其规定没有借来，他只得淋着大雨跑去读，管理员见到后连声道歉，周总理却说：“你做得对，每个人都应该守规则，不然怎么管理图书馆?怎么管理社会?怎么管理国家?”

我们每个人都渴望自由，但总有一些规则束缚着我们。事实上，这不是对我们的束缚，而是对我们的一种保护。试想一下，若没有交通规则，道路便会瘫痪，没有法律，好多人便会为所欲为……后果将不堪设想。在社会生活中，不守规则的事屡见不鲜，行人闯红灯，垃圾不分类，上公交车不分前后门，上车后抢占老弱病残座位等等;在学校里，上下楼打闹，考试抄袭等等现象也时有发生。凡此种.种，都是日常生活中不守规则的一些小事。但我们细想一想，小事并不小，长此以往，就将影响到我们的行为习惯，进而影响到我们的未来。因此我们勿要善小而不为，勿要恶小而为之。

“规者，正圆之器;矩者，正方之器。”无规不成圆，无矩不成方。这句耳熟能详的名言告诫人们立身处世乃至安邦治国，都必须遵守一定的准则和法度。无非也就是一句话：我们要时刻注意自己的言行举止，“不以小纪而不遵”。因为只有遵守规则，才能使我们的生活安定有序，充满生机，充满活力。

让我们从现在做起，从自我做起，严守规则，让规则发挥出巨大的力量!
