暑假里，在我家发生了一件新鲜事，就是我在家里“打工“。妈妈对我说：“你都长这么大了，也应该干些活了!这样吧!你每天帮我干些活，一天挣一块零花钱，不错吧!”我心想：能锻炼自理能力，又能减轻妈妈的负担，同时，攒下的钱，也可以买些书!这不是“三全其美“吗?再说了，这些轻而易举的活，也难得倒我吗?妈妈整天都干活，光看，我也学会了。

于是我二话没说，就答应了“打工”的事。第二天，“打工”开始忙上了。可我有犹豫了一阵，要先洗碗，还是先擦桌?要先扫地，还是先拖地?我用求住的眼光看着妈妈，妈妈的目光像在对我说：“不是每天看惯了吗?怎么还不会啊?”妈妈走到我身旁，给我细心地指导。在妈妈的指导下，我笨手笨脚地完成了几项工作，但我相信，以后我回会做得更出色。我是忙这又忙那，忙得不亦乐乎。我深深地松了口气，才发现脸上汗流如雨，衣服全湿透了，变成了“落汤鸡”。

我才体会到妈妈的辛苦，这使我第一次感到辛苦的滋味，第一次挣到钱的喜悦。我看了看妈妈，妈妈看了看我，我们都给对方竖起大拇指。我竖起大拇指的原因是佩服妈妈，妈妈却在鼓励我。“打工”坚持了一个多月，我挣到了几十块钱。我干家务的速度，效率都提高了。妈妈笑着说：“以后还干活吗?”“当然干。”我毫不犹豫的说。“至于工资嘛!免费服务!”我开心的说。“哈哈哈……”家里传出了欢快的笑声。
