Halloween always falls on 31 October. It’s a holiday for children. On that day, children always wear fancy clothes and masks. And then, they go from house to house to say “Trick or Treat”, so that people will treat them with candies. If they don’t receive any candies, they’ll play a trick on people. But sometimes if the people are going out, when the children come, they’ll put the candies in a carved pumpkin lanterns. Children will take the candies themselves. When I don’t have to go to school, I like to join many activities. I have

many hobbies. I will play all kinds of sports, like basketball, football and so

on. But I like tennis most. Tennis is an elegant sport. Playing tennis makes me

happy, I not only become fit, but also learn to be patient.

When I was small, my mother told me that apple was good for my health,

because it contained so many vitamins. Since then, I almost eat an apple a day,

I fall in love with apple. The apple not only tastes sweet, but also makes my

Today, cellphone has been part of people’s live, they use cellphone to keep

My summer holiday begun on July 7th.I love summer holiday because I dont

have to go to school and I can enjoy myself with my friends.I often spend the

As a Senior Grade Three students, I am very busy in preparing for the

college entrance examination. I have seven classes a day, and two self-study

classes at night. And only a day left for the weekend. So, most of the time I

have to spend on the study, after all the college entrance examination is very

important for almost all of us. Aside of study, I would play football with my

friends after school and the weekend. I like playing football very much. When I

run on the football field, I can put the examination thing off my mind for a

When we are little, we are eager to grow up, so that we can break free of

Scientists estimate that the need for fresh water will have doubled by the year

2003. If they are correct， we must find new ways of saving it or producing it.

polluted. Deep wells are also being dug， and rain water is being collected in

huge artificial lakes. In one way or another， they hope to provide enough water

to satisfy the needs of their people.

Today is Saturday. Today is very strange, very special, because when I go

online today, an unexpectedly found a note, tonight at 8-9: to earth hour,

really depressed.

Under the take care of my mother, my eating habit is very regular. I often

eat porridge in the morning. Sometimes my mother will prepare some pickles for

me. But sometimes I will put an egg into the porridge to have the egg porridge.

At noon, I will eat in school canteen. Sometimes I will have noodles. At night,

my mother will prepare a big meal for me. After dinner, I will eat a little

fruit.

This summer holiday, I had travelled to Hong Kong with many other students. We went to Hong Kong by plane. Hong Kong is very small, but there are many people living there.

In Hong Kong, all of the buildings are very tall. There are lots of shops there and you can go shopping until about 11:00 at night. In Hong Kong, things are very expensive, so we only bought a few souvenirs.

We went to lots of places, such as the Avenue of Stars and Ocean Park. I like Ocean Park best. The park is very big. Sitting in the cable car, you can see two hills, lots of different flowers and the sea. Some students were afraid of sitting in the cable car!

We stayed in the Shu Ren College. There are many big trees around it. We had meals in the restaurants, but I didnt like the food.

Hong Kong is very beautiful. I like Hong Kong and I hope to go there again some day.

I want to grow up as soon as possible. When I grow up, I can do many things

that I can’t now. However, at the same time, I am afraid. I don’t know what my

future life would be. Look around myself, some people are busy working for

having enough food to eat and live better; some are achieving every goal that

they make; some may live in the poor situation. I don’t know what kind of life I

would have in the future. But I know that everyone’s life is in their hands. So

I will try my best to work hard for a better future life.
