大熊猫是我国特产，它那独具特色的面庞已经成为“世界自然基金会”的标志。大熊猫很像熊，但不是熊，体长约1.5米，重达160千克，黑白相间的体毛是它们外观上的特征。大熊猫性情温顺，姿势和动作都特别可爱。在世界各地的动物园里，大熊猫上是最受游客宠爱的动物。

大熊猫这种动物还是古老残存动物的代表，大约在100多万年以前，大熊猫就在地球上生存了，所以，它们就有了“活化石”之称。

大熊猫这种可爱而珍贵的动物在日益减少，全世界加起来还不到1000只。难道要让这可爱而珍贵的动物在地球上消失吗?让我们行动起来，保护可爱而珍贵的动物——大熊猫吧!

我的名字叫熊猫，我是世界上最珍贵的动物之一。我们家族的数量十分稀少，属于国家一类保护动物，我可以自豪的说我是“国宝”。我不但被世界野生动物协会选为会标，而且还常常担任“和平大使”，带着中国人民的友谊远渡重洋，到国外攀亲结友，深受各国人民的欢迎。

我长着圆圆胖胖的脸，脸上嵌着一对水汪汪的眼睛，特别是那对八字形的黑眼圈，犹如戴着一副墨镜，非常惹人喜爱。缓慢，笨笨的样别看我身体胖软，四肢粗壮，行动子，可我还是爬树高手，能在树上睡觉呢。我在五六个月的时候，妈妈就开始教我爬树、游泳、洗澡和剥食竹子等本领。两岁多就离开母亲，开始独立的生活。我不胖不瘦，喜欢穿白色的t恤和黑色的牛仔裤，总觉得这样穿很酷，走起路来都精神了许多。我的家族非常古老，大约在100万年前，就遍布陕西、山西等地区，我的祖先是食肉动物，现在我们却偏吃素，主要以吃竹为生。

科学家把我们当成研究生物进化的珍贵“活化石”，大家一定要保护我们哟!

回顾大熊猫的保护之路，从曾经的滥捕滥杀，到今天全社会的关注与保护。它们的种族经历了无数的风风雨雨，才引起了全社会的关注，既然我们已经认识到它们的重要性，那就让我们也为保护大熊猫尽一份力吧!
