Smoe people say that money is the best thing in the world. But I consider

reading books as the best and the most precious thing one can ever have.

Reading books is very important. First of all, it is knowledge that makes

One is never too old to learn. No matter what time you rcalize the

Todays society is a highly developed technological society. However, the

shortcomings in the development process are obvious, such as: carbon dioxide,

and environmental pollution. But the most serious should be the carbon dioxide

problem.

Now the problem of global warming because of excess emissions of greenhouse

gases. Excessive amount of carbon dioxide emissions, creating a diversified

economy and La Nina phenomena lag disorder. Two levels of glaciers melting,

polar animals lose their chance of survival at the same time, will lead to

rising sea levels, many coastal cities into the water did not result in a few

years later. Therefore, we must take the necessary measures to reduce the

In China, Mid-autumn Day is considered to be a symbol of family reunion. On

this day, all the family members gather together at home to celebrate this

special occasion. Last year, I could not celebrate the festival with my family

because I was in university. However, this special day left a deep impression on

me.

I still remember the atmosphere of that evening. All the students who could

not go back home assembled in our classroom, having a party to celebrate this

traditional festival. We tried our best to show our own enthusiasm. As an ethnic

When I go to high school, our school has the rule to ask students to live

in the dormitory. Most students live with their parents before, so we all feel

excited and afraid of the group life. Luckily, I have three nice roommates. Soon

we become close friends. Living with others, we learn to do the house work, such

eat, we will share with each other. The group life makes us have less private

Today, as our economy develops fast, people live a much better life than

before, they start to pay attention the chase fun. When people have holiday,

they will choose to travel, most people will give money to the organization,

while some people choose to self-helptraveling. Self-help traveling can save a

lot of money, people can save the money which is given to the tour guide. What’s

more, self-help traveling can bring people a lot of fun. People can visit the

site as long as they want, sometimes they can find the interesting things in the

small place. While the tour guide will always take people to the commercial

place. Self-help traveling is becoming more and more popular now.

It seems like a silly question, anyone in sane would give a hand to the elderly who fell. But in China, this question is becoming tricky. Many news report that there are some old people not just fell, they do it on purpose. Usually, they walk on a crowdy street, and pretend to faint or just lay down on the ground, intend to accuse the one who comes to help as a perpetrator and blackmail him/her for the treatment fee. Many people have fell for that and had to pay as there is no witness to prove their innocence. As for these negative news, people is afraid to help those old people in need, that makes some of them who are in real trouble could not get help in time. I once asked one of my friends: “Why the old people turn bad? If you see one in the street, would you help?” He said: “It is not the old people turn bad, it is the bad people turn old. As the National Day came, I have a vacation, so I made the plan to go out

and travel to the different places. Last year, I went to the big cities, like

Shanghai, there were so many people, I could hardly see the tourist site. So

this year, I decided to go to the small place, Wu Zhou. But the result is almost

the same, so many people were around everywhere.

When I arrived at Wu Zhou, I was attracted by its beautiful scenery, though

the city is small, the water and the mountain are around the city, which makes

the city beautiful and casual. The city is famous for the food, especially the

restaurant which below the Baiyun mountain. I thought it maybe a little more

people, so I woke up early in the morning for avoiding the summit time. I came

to the restaurant at about 7 o’clock, there were a lot of people standing in the

long line. It needs to take about two hour for me to get a table!

Now I have learned a lesson, it is better not to take a trip in the

festival, I need to miss the time if I want to travel in a comfortable way.
